Hello, I’m looking into CRM systems but actually i only really need one function - contact tracking. Is there a way that i can get Zapier to log the date of the last interaction from contacts in my gmail inbox? I want to be able see when my last interaction is with a client to remind me to go back and contact them. E.g. i’m manually updating a spreadsheet at the moment, but i want to automate this and the contact row updated each time there is a email from a certain address. Any help or direction would be gratefully received! Thanks!
Hi Is there any way in order to Add new Zendesk users to a MailPoet list, exactly as it already happens for MailChimp? Alternatively, If I create a public MailPoet web form to add users into a MailPoet list: is there any way in order to add new Zendesk users to a MailPoet list, filling automatically the public MailPoet web form? Thank You Daniele
Hey! I’m still in the learning stages with Zapier, and have a use case that has me stumped. So here I am! Some context: I have a zap that watches for new updates to an RSS feed, then creates a new record in an Airtable base with data from the feed. To make it tangible, the RSS feed tells me when there is a new episode of a show, and the zap sends episode data to Airtable. Trouble is, and what has me stuck: the RSS feed data does not include the name of the show that the episode belongs to. This makes life difficult on the Airtable side as I can’t automatically associate new episode records to the parent show. I thought that it could solve things if Zapier allowed me to include a manual data field in the trigger record. So for example, if my zap was watching for any new episodes of The Office (I wish...), I could add a text string label/tag ‘the-office’, which would be included in all new records created in Airtable, thus allowing me to link the episode details to
I am currently working on a zap that incorporates saving gmail attachments to Google Drive and importing into Evernote. I am looking for tips to select a particular label in gmail. Currently the zap is triggered by an email with an attachment, it goes through a few formatter steps to rename the attachment before uploading to Drive and importing into Evernote. The desired file name would be Label_Attachment Name_Month_Year. Where I get stuck is that a handful of other labels come in like UNREAD, CATEGORY and INBOX as well as the desired Label. What is the best way to make sure to only get the desired label? I’ve tried using Line Item to Text in Formatter but the label appears in a different Item under Output for different emails. Would I be better off building a look up table for every email and its matching label?
I have a zap that starts in Mailchimp and ends in Salesforce. 99% of the Mailchimp subscribers are already contacts in Salesforce. Occasionally, one may be a lead not yet converted to a contact. The 2nd task of my zap searches Salesforce for a contact with the Mailchimp subscriber’s email address. In the case of a lead, the task fails. I am rather new with Zapier, but shouldn’t I be able to configure it to alert me of such a failure? or do I need to set up a separate zap to do that? Thanks!
Hello everyone, I’ve been brainstorming how to build up an efficient workflow for my company’s email notification system and struggling. We are currently running online workshops where kids meet in private groups to play Dungeons & Dragons. The groups meet 1-2x a week. An hour before every group starts, I have Zapier send an email with everyone’s character sheets (as a Google Doc link), a chatroom for rolling dice, and a Zoom room. I’ve been able to automate most of this process so Zapier can read the time, date, and Zoom location to paste into the email. Now though, I want to find a way to more efficiently link in each kid’s character sheet so I don’t have to paste every single kid’s name and every single character sheet by hand. My initial instinct was to set up a Google Sheet with names in one column and links in the other. However, the only action that can read this information is “Get Many Spreadsheet Rows.” This action takes all the information from the spreadsheet and pu
I am trying to send a message to the customers by creating a zap from Shopify to Avochato when their order is ready for shipping. These are the options I have selected. However, Shopify is sending them the same message multiple times. I investigated and found out that whenever the shipment status changes (from none to "in transit", then to "confirmed”), Shopify identifies each of these as an update to the order and this is the reason the zap occurs multiple times. So, is there a way to include “Shipment Status” field so that I can select a certain status (like “confirmed”) and stop the zap from occuring multiple times?
I’m looking for somebody to point me to the right app. I have a Zap that sends out an email to everybody who completes my survey on Typeform. I want to include something in that email so people can enter their friends’ emails and send them the survey to do. Is there an app like that that plugs into Zapier (or is one of Zapier’s own programs)?
I notice the the QuickBooks Online ‘Create Time Activity’ action event requires the QuickBooks internal employee ID but this ID is not visible thru the UI in QuickBooks. Is there a feature request in the pipeline to create employee or find employee. Having easy access to the internal QuickBooks Online employee ID is crucial to a piece of integration I am working on - using the Zap in the manner I am is not something the ultimate end users would do. (Note: there is a zap for Find Vendor in QuickBooks Online - these are different record types from employees so the existing Find Vendor zap could be adapted as the workflow/use case is very similar. I’m now to this community so not sure how feature requests are handled! Thanks

I’m trying to build a zap to take any data that has been altered in a google spreadsheet and mirror it in my airtable spreadsheet. I tried using the “New or Updated Spreadsheet Row in Google Sheets” zap but it doesn’t recognize when I alter a cell, it seems to only recognize when I add a new row. Any insight on why updating a cell doesn’t trigger the zap?
I’m trying to create one task when a certain view in Airtable changes (new records coming in). The problem I have is that it’s always creating as many tasks as new line items are added in Airtable. Already messed around with Zapier Digest, but that didn’t help either. Any idea how to accomplish that behavior? Best, Andreas
Hi. I am brand new to Zapier and I am trying to implement the ‘New Attachment in GMail’ function, following it up by Submitting a Print Job in Google Cloud Print. When I run my test it seems to print fine but I when a mail arrives with an attachment nothing happens. I have my Zap turned on. Could anybody maybe advise on something I may be missing? Thank you.
Hi there :) I hope someone could help me on this issue. I tried to setup a Zap that saves the PDF attachment of emails with the label “invoice” in my gmail into a specific GDrive folder. Issue: What it does instead is creating a new Google doc file in GDrive with the content of the PDF file? What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your help Pierre EDIT: This post was edited by a moderator to remove personal information from the images. I am using WooCommerce in a zap but only the standard product types are showing. I am using a booking plugin which creates a new product type of ‘Appointable Products’ which can be selected from WooCommerce inside Wordpress but the option is not available when trying to create a new product in a zap. Any ideas?
