If I could build my own AI assistant, I’d want it to go far beyond the typical task-runner or chatbot we see today. Sure, it should handle scheduling, research, and daily organization—but the real value would come from how safely and responsibly it manages sensitive information. One of the biggest concerns with modern AI tools is accidental data exposure, so my ideal assistant would have strong data protection built directly into its core. For example, anytime I share personal, financial, or company-specific details, the assistant should automatically apply data redaction, masking or anonymizing sensitive fields before anything is processed or stored. It should never send information to third parties without explicit permission, and it should be able to detect risky patterns—like passwords, client records, or internal documents—before something slips out. Essentially, it would function as a built-in guardian that prevents me from oversharing even by mistake.I’d also want the assistant to follow the principles of safer AI, similar to frameworks like Questa Safe AI, where transparency, control, and user-centric privacy are defaults rather than optional features. My assistant should clearly explain what data it uses, why it needs it, and how long it keeps it. If I ask, “Delete everything you know about X,” it should do so instantly and verifiably.Beyond privacy, I’d want it to adapt to my workflow—learning my writing tone, helping brainstorm ideas, automating repetitive digital tasks, and acting as a second brain without ever compromising security. In a world where AI is becoming more integrated into daily life, the perfect assistant wouldn’t just be intelligent—it would be trustworthy by design.
Hi everyone,I’m working on a workflow to link event check-ins for our children’s museum to digital membership card updates using Zapier. The goal is to automatically update members’ cards in MembershipAnywhere or PassKit after they attend events booked through Squarespace. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: Event Attendance: When a member checks in at an event, trigger an update in their digital membership card (e.g., mark points earned, event attended, or reward unlocked). Membership Status Updates: Adjust expiration dates, perks, or tier levels automatically based on event participation. Automation: Use Zapier to connect Squarespace events/registrations with MembershipAnywhere or PassKit so all updates happen without manual work. I’m new to setting up multi-step Zaps like this and would love advice on: Best triggers for event attendance in Squarespace. Recommended actions in MembershipAnywhere for updating digital membership card. Any tips for handling multiple events or recurring events efficiently. Any examples, workflows, or Zap templates would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙏 Happy Christmas
Hello,I am the Technical Support Manager at Modusign. Through the Trigger (document_all_signed) event, Modusign currently provides access to the finalized document using a pre-signed URL delivered via file.downloadUrl. Due to security constraints, this URL has a 10-minute validity period. We identified an issue where a specific customer is using this trigger to pass the URL into a Google Drive folder as an Action. In this flow, the document itself is not being stored; instead, only the URL string is being saved, which becomes invalid after the expiration period. Although retrieving the actual file is feasible by issuing a GET request within the Webhook Response of the same trigger, adding an additional Action—as was previously required—may result in unnecessary Zap consumption on Zapier. We would appreciate your review of this behavior to confirm the optimal implementation. This post has been edited by moderator to move it into the Developer Zone.
We use a copy file action to copy final client applications to an external access drive to be processed by our mailing service. All was working fine until we got an error “The app returned "This file cannot be copied by the authenticated user.". The user trying to copy is the admin for the drive and the manager/ editor of all the folders. Again this was a single error which I cannot understand (the new name was removed)
Hello, I am currently experiencing a problem when trying to connect my Jotform account to Zapier. Despite several attempts (clearing the cache, changing browsers, checking login details), the connection fails every time. Can you tell me if there is a solution or a specific procedure to resolve this issue? I would like to be able to use Jotform as a trigger/action in my Zapier automations, but the integration does not seem to be working. Thank you in advance for your help and advice. Best regards, Nathan
