Having Issues Cancelling Calendly Events

Hi Everyone, I’m trying to create a zap that triggers when someone create a Calendly meeting. The zap has two paths based on the answers they provide on the Calendly form. The path will either create the deal in Hubspot or cancel the event. The paths are working but when I try to “Cancel Scheduled Event” I keep getting errors. My guess is that the Event ID/UUID is wrong, but I’m not sure how to fix it. I thought the Cancel URL field from the Calendly trigger would be the UUID I need since the formatting matches what they asked for but its not working and no idea what else I can use. I’ve attached the screenshots below of the steps in question. Error Handling Is Generating Emails

I have a common set of errors that I deal for some of my automations. I have error handling that I’m happy with, but lately it is sending me emails when it encounters those errors. Zapier help docs says this shouldn’t be happening. Anything I can do to stop this from happening?

Troubleshooting missing Line Items ID in Quickbase from Shopify updates

I have a zap setup to enter a Quickbase record when a shopify record is updated. It was working fine and then Zapier made some updates and now I randomly get an error message and a missed zap. It is pretty low frequency but high enough to be a problem. Below is a screenshot of the most recent event. When I checked this order in shopify it is from a Bold subscription purchase (Shopify plug in app) and I’m wondering if that is messing with the ID. It doesn’t happen every time. I cannot see where this ID is empty.

Built-in Error Handling for Webhooks POST

A Google search for POST issues on Zapier is a mile long. From what I can tell a lot of them come from the same root issue: A step errors and prevents the Zap from finishing. I think there is a pretty straightforward solution. The POST functionality on Zapier webhooks should have a checkbox to skip any data that errored and proceed with posting other data. Example: A form that collects several pieces of info has an optional zip code field The zip is sent to a zip code lookup table to grab city and state data before being passed into a CRM. If the zip code lookup fails, the user should have the option to send POST data without the failed fields. You may say that an error handler would be an easy solution in the example above, but it can get very messy very quickly in more complex scenarios. You can have branching paths or connected zaps - but it can still get more messy than we’d like. I think a straightforward checkbox would save many people a lot of issues. Feedback on REST Hook in Perform Subscribe

I'm developing a public integration that includes a REST hook, and I’d like to implement error handling in the performSubscribe method to provide feedback message to the end user if the subscription endpoint fails. Is this possible? So far, I’ve validated non-200 status codes returned by the request, but when testing on the platform, it allows the Zap to turn on and then turns it off a few seconds later without any feedback. sends notification to wrong email

i somehow registered with wrong email. and now Zapier asks me to confirm notification from email that doesn't exist .. is there a way to change it ? i tried to change it but he still wants the confirmation from the wrong email which doesn't exist is there a way of fixing ?

Issue with Facebook Conversions – "Unknown Error"

Hello, Zapier Community! I’m encountering an issue with the Facebook Conversion Events integration in Zapier. When trying to send conversion events, I receive an "Unknown Error" response along with a warning about using a deprecated version of the Ads API. Error Details: Error Message: "An unknown error has occurred" (OAuthException: code 1). Warning: "You are calling a deprecated version of the Ads API." Status Code: 500 (Internal Server Error). URL Path: The request URL shows as https://undefined/v18.0/{ad_account_id}/events?access_token={access_token}, where the base URL is listed as undefined. Actions Taken: I’ve confirmed that the Ad Account ID and Event Data are correctly filled in the Zapier action. I’ve disconnected and reconnected my Facebook Ads account in Zapier to ensure the access token is up-to-date. KW Coomand Validation error 11.14.24

I am trying to create a zap for Fello Home value lead that triggers the contact in KW Command. When I try to add the KW Command app to Zapier, I am getting this error attached. “ We hit an error adding your new account authentication failed: One or more validation errors occurred. How to Display an Error in Zapier When Trigger subscribeHook Fails with a Status Code of 400 or Higher

Hi everyone, I'm working on a Zapier integration and have the following subscribeHook function. I want Zapier to display an error message to the user if the subscription request (subscribe) fails and the server returns a status code of 400 or higher. Error handling for agencies

Hey guys! Hope to get some inspiration and feedback here :) We are an agency and setting up Zaps for our clients. Now we got the problem that sometimes the Zaps don’t run correctly. So we inserted a error handler with a webhook which sends us a Slack message and also creates a Asana task for our developer to check the Zap of the client. How are you guys handling the issues when a certain Trigger (for example Facebook Lead Ads) doesn’t trigger any event because there’s a problem? Right now we only get feedback from our clients - but that said they´re than not satisfied because they thought that everythings working correctly. Anyone has some ideas or feedback? How does _zap_search_success_on_miss work

Hi all, I’m maintaining a zapier CLI integration that has a search that is erroring out even if the _zap_search_success_on_miss is set to true. Is this something that Zapier will deal with automatically if I throw the right kind of error or do I need to parse it myself from the inputDataRaw? I can't find any documentation around that variable.

My Zap changed itself

Hello, I created a Zap almost two moths ago that transfered the people subscribing to a Wix form on a Wix website to Mailchimp. Now, a month after my holidays I noticed that some fields for some contacts in Mailchimp were missing, and some were messed up. I opened the Zap I created and saw that the fields have shuffled and rearranged themselves. I think I solved the issue by adapting the fields, but my question is why did this happen? How can I prevent this from happening in the future:? Thanks.

Error Handlers + "Should this step be considered a success"

Steps like tables and spreadsheets have this option in configuration: “Should this step be considered a success if no search results are found?” If you’re using an error handler, should you say “yes” or “no”? My instinct would be that if nothing is found, it is considered an error and it would follow the error pathway… but I’m not 100% certain.

Calendly and brokerengine help

Hi, I would love some help! :-) I have just created a Zap from Calendly to BrokerEngine so every time a calendar invite is created, it creates a lead in Brokerengine. I have tested the zap and it has successfully created the lead. But I then publish it and it keeps turning off without giving any explanation why. I have repeatedly turned it on but it automatically switches back off.

Problems with permissions when exporting whatsapp or email

How can I solve this error? I am creating a flow where the first step is a Facebook lead, after that the 2nd step is to connect a Google Sheet where that data is saved every time it is added, third step (here the error) I create a subscriber for manychat where I pass the Facebook lead data but it gives me an error that I cannot export the WhatsApp number or email. Finally I want to put a label on the user in manychat to know that it comes from a Facebook lead

Error - Invalid phone number format for the passed phone number

For whatever reason a customer entered his email address in the phone field when making a purchase recently, which caused Zapier to fail and throw the following error… “Invalid phone number format for the passed phone number” I have the customers phone number, is there any way I can edit this info and retry the zap? Newbie - trying to fix an error "adding subscriber to email list"

I am receiving the error “adding subscriber to email list” When I access the error it is saying that my “keyword” for Manychat, m”NEW” is in the email field: However, when I go in to try to edit this, I cannot find that anywhere, and the email field looks correct: ​​​​​​ This was working fine for a couple of months, then just started giving me an error message a week or so ago.Thank you in advance for any help!​​​​​​​

Error with Add Search Step link to resource in CLI App

I get this error on my zap when I click “add a search step”. We can't retrieve information for this step right now Try reloading the page. Zapier error: Unable to pull items, files can only be stashed within a create or hydration function/method

Hello community members, I am trying to implement a file input to zapier when a new item is added. The response receives a base64 encoded text in utf-8. I need to convert this into file such that while creating zaps I can add a file. (Similar to attachments in Gmail trigger). Can anyone review this custom action with google sheets for me?

I’m trying to update a column at a time with google sheets. Ideally I’d like to do multiple columns, but we’re starting with just one. I’ve got everything set up according to the google API documents and when I test the API, it works. But when I transfer the zap over live, it runs into an error saying that the formatting is wrong and it expected another value. I’ve tried this with multiple inputs (a column of 5-6 values) and just one value, but I get the same error each time.
