Error Handling

We use a copy file action to copy final client applications to an external access drive to be processed by our mailing service. All was working fine until we got an error “The app returned "This file cannot be copied by the authenticated user.". The user trying to copy is the admin for the drive and the manager/ editor of all the folders. Again this was a single error which I cannot understand (the new name was removed) 

I have a custom integration that allows me to query Nationbuilder via their V2 API, using Oauth authentication. A number of Zaps have run successfully using this custom integration, but a few have run into an error on the steps using the custom integration, reporting this error:Cannot retrieve App******CLIAPI@1.0.0 app.I haven’t found any documentation specific to this error. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

I’m trying to add up prices i extracted from my google form using formatter, but its saying invalid format. I dont know if the error is from the format i used in the google form in terms of numbers or from my zappier. Please help

Hi, I'm having a problem with this zap I created: New Deals -> Slack -> Sheets (Finance + Coaching). Basically, there are two filters and it stops for some leads. Why is that?  

Receiving this error: This Google Analytics 4 step hit an errorOops! Something went wrong. Google may be having issues with their API - please try again later. I have searched and found that this is a known bug. Is this something currently being worked on and do you expect to find a solution in the next month? If someone can please add me to the list of users that has been accumulating for over a year I’d appreciate it. But I’d appreciate more information than just “There are no updates at present, but I’ve added you to the list, so we’ll definitely notify you as soon as this bug is fixed.”

hi!I had a zap that  put the contact into my mail list ..Didn’t work and ‘stopped’ this task. Why???? This is the error: This Brevo (4.2.0) step hit an errorHalted Exception: Field "emailBlacklisted" is invalid - it is not Boolean value and can not be converted to Boolean value. Please help me. This is a horrible errror. REason is that this zap task was to add Webinar registrant contacts into my mail list which would then get a notification from me for the Zoom Webinar link!!! Of which they didnt get and so didnt get to watch the Live webinar (of which they paid!!)aaaargh. Tragic. 

It appears that a year later this is still an issue Hey, I am trying to report an event in GA4 to mark conversions and I’ve used action “Create Conversion Event for a Property in Google Analytic” for this.However, when I try to test it gives me error “Failed to create a conversion event in Google Analytics 4Oops! Something went wrong. Google may be having issues with their API - please try again later.”

I have a sub-zap that is used to create a new sales receipt in QuickBooks. If the recipt reference number is not unique (race condition) the QuickBooks action fails. That is OK and is expected for us every once in a while. As far as I know, there is no way in the “create sales receipt” QuickBooks step to ignore the error. Ideally I would like to trigger an “email” step if there was an error. If that’s not possible I would like to, at least, be able to exit the sub-zap so that the parent zap can finish running and not be stuck in the “waiting” state. How do I achieve that?

Hello community,I’m having a problem with our zap flows. We have a step that makes a POST call to an API and then our flow splits in two. The success and the error paths. Looking at a specific ZAP run I can see that we got a 702 error from the API yet the zap flow continues down the SUCESS path.Is there anything in config that would make this happen?Am I missing something?Thanks.

So I’ve set up a zap that will create a new contact in Pipedrive when a Lead is tagged with the tag “hot sauce”.I’m running into this problem:It's saying the person id needs to be a number, but it is a number?Does it need to be a shorter number? I am importing the Lead ID from Zoho as the Person ID assigned in Pipedrive.I haven’t found a way around this yet. Any suggestions?  

Hello .. i have developed Zapier integration  For Second street account from 3 years ago ,and now i have pushed another version 2.0.5 and need to make it the public production version instead of version 2.0.3. when i am trying to set 2.0.5 as promoted version through cli .. i get this error message. i need ur support to proceed. 

Is it possible to select which email alerts to receive when errors happen in zaps?  For example, we use zaps for Facebook lead ads quite a bit and quite often the email address is not valid triggering an email alert about it. These specific notices happen often enough, it would be really helpful to eliminate them coming in completely versus the notices about other issues like information not sending at all, or an issue with either our CDP or Zapier, etc.

Hi Everyone, I’m trying to create a zap that triggers when someone create a Calendly meeting. The zap has two paths based on the answers they provide on the Calendly form. The path will either create the deal in Hubspot or cancel the event. The paths are working but when I try to “Cancel Scheduled Event” I keep getting errors. My guess is that the Event ID/UUID is wrong, but I’m not sure how to fix it. I thought the Cancel URL field from the Calendly trigger would be the UUID I need since the formatting matches what they asked for but its not working and no idea what else I can use.  I’ve attached the screenshots below of the steps in question.  Thanks in advance for any help :) Step 16: Trying to get the Event ID/UUID: Inpu

I have a zap setup to enter a Quickbase record when a shopify record is updated. It was working fine and then Zapier made some updates and now I randomly get an error message and a missed zap. It is pretty low frequency but high enough to be a problem. Below is a screenshot of the most recent event. When I checked this order in shopify it is from a Bold subscription purchase (Shopify plug in app) and I’m wondering if that is messing with the ID. It doesn’t happen every time. I cannot see where this ID is empty.   

A Google search for POST issues on Zapier is a mile long. From what I can tell a lot of them come from the same root issue: A step errors and prevents the Zap from finishing.I think there is a pretty straightforward solution. The POST functionality on Zapier webhooks should have a checkbox to skip any data that errored and proceed with posting other data. Example:A form that collects several pieces of info has an optional zip code field The zip is sent to a zip code lookup table to grab city and state data before being passed into a CRM. If the zip code lookup fails, the user should have the option to send POST data without the failed fields.You may say that an error handler would be an easy solution in the example above, but it can get very messy very quickly in more complex scenarios. You can have branching paths or connected zaps - but it can still get more messy than we’d like.I

i somehow registered with wrong email. and now Zapier asks me to confirm notification from email that doesn't exist .. is there a way to change it ? i tried to change it but he still wants the confirmation from the wrong email which doesn't exist is there a way of fixing ?
