When is this company getting with the times and have DARK MODE????????

I’ve read comments about having dark mode and some were a year old and nothing yet.I’m thinking zapier is taking it’s customers for granted, most businesses want to hear from their clients on how they can improve, looks like this company really doesn’t care about their clients!!They have our money and think we are hear to stay.Well I’ve been here a short time searched this issue out and ended up here, this almost sounds like our present goverment!!  They could care less about what the citizens want regardless, and zapier is the same, if it’s been requested by their clients for that long and nothing yet what does that say?They don’t give a shit what we want just keep paying and shut up!! Even tho basically everyone online is using dark mode it’s old news, these guy could care less what we want!!  I learned about others before I came here, was being used the most but zapier is a lot more money to use and are behind the times! Just getting going and can easily switch obviously these guy d

New Shopify Order in Store 1 Creates a New Order in Store 2

The issue we are facing is that each store has the same products, though obviously product IDs do not match, among other pieces of product details. Using Lookup Tables we’re able to switch names, IDs, etc., however when assembling the new Shopify Order Zap step the line items are not all being added to the product, along with associated SKUs, images, names, IDs. We’ve gotten quite deep into the weeds with our current Zap and I am sure a lot of it is unnecessary, but this was all throughout the troubleshooting. The issue appears to be replacing the line items from the Order Trigger with the correct Products in the new store. We have scoured the internet searching for a solution that seems to fit this unique situation, though to no avail. Providing screenshot of the (most important/used) steps thus far.  Intaking new orders from store 1, complete with line-item supportTaking store 1 product names, converting to store 2 product namesConverting store 2 product names to the correct product

Distinguish between empty string, null and undefined

Is there some recommended way to handle/distinguish between unprovided data (null/undefined) and empty data (empty string) while developing custom actions?Endpoint handles not-provided data as “no not change” and provided data as “change” and empty strings are valid values. I can, of course, do it by having a boolean field next to every data field, but it feels too nasty...

No proper response in "bundle.action_fields_raw" for actions when passing a value from trigger in decimal format

We are currently enhancing the Freshsales Classic App in Zapier. We are currently facing one issue in one of the action, “Create Deal” in Freshsales Classic.Issue:Scenario 1: (Passing as Fixed Values)When we give fixed value to an integer type input, we are getting proper value in “bundle.action_fields_raw”  Scenario 2: (Passing as Dynamic Values from triggers) When we pass a custom field value from trigger, we are getting not proper value in “bundle.action_fields_raw”.Instead of values, we are getting the placeholder.   Can you please help us how to handle this scenarios? Thanks,Gowtham

Outbound email from Trello card moving to list for members

I am trying to create a Zap that will send an outbound email using Outlook to the Members of a Trello card that has moved into a specific list on a Board. The issue I am facing is trying to populate the “To” field in the Action section and selecting the correct data from the Insert Data options, this works if I add a static email address

langchain zapier integration issues

Hi,Currently using langchain 0.1.9, I am not able to integrate with zapier. With the API key I am able to list the zapier NLA actions but not able to interact with any of the actions.  Like I am not able to find email from my account. The LLM is hallucinating and I am not able to see any error message. Moreover I am not seeing any logs of connection to that particular action. Please let me know how can this be fixed Thanks,Shah

Creating an Action for an API endpoint that expects a list/array of objects using "Line Item Groups"

Workable integration - Requisition

Hello Everyone, In my company we’re using workable as ATS and Click Up as a project management system. We have a board to follow the requisitions progression. I was trying to automate the creation of a new task when a requisition is open. So in the workable plugin, I only see the candidates and job information. I know that in the API I can have access to the requisition information. Any idea how can I tweak the thing to fetch other types of date from it ? Thanks,  Alex,

Custom Gmail App Authentication Issue

I’ve built a custom (private) Gmail integration for a client in the Zapier Platform to use some API actions not included in the standard Gmail integration - checking whether a label exists for a given year, creating it if it doesn’t, adding a child label to the year (to represent a particular event), and then creating a filter so that emails from a given client are always assigned that label.Everything appears to be set up correctly.OAuth test authentication in Zapier platform works like a charm: Testing the action’s API request (which does all of the above in one action step) works as expected: Testing the action in the Zapier editor works as expected: But for some reason, live runs fail with the following error message:  Any ideas on what’s going on here? Hi, I am building a custom GPT and have enabled the action send gmail i zapier and all that stuff. However when I try to use the action, it tells me, that it isnt turned on yet. Does anybody know how to change that? Would aprechiate your help a ton!

Get input field type during perform

Hello Zapier Community,Is there anything like we can see the field type during “perform” in zapier cli or we can keep any meta info in dynamic input field so that we can take action based on specific meta info property or field type? I need to check if the type is integer then cast the value in input field to integer, somehow zapier is providing string value from integer field type.

Is there a way to populate a dictionary dynamically?

Hi! I’m working on a new action for our integration. The use case is more or less like this:We require an action that’s going to create a contact in our app. A contact has certain fields (name, email, birth date, etc.). Some of these fields are standard for all customers, and some of them are custom. We have an API that gives us all those fields. The customer is not required to send all the fields, he may use only a subset of them.What I’m wondering is, what’s the best way to send this data to create a new contact to our API?I have been trying to use a “dynamic dictionary”, but didn’t have much success so far. My idea was: use a dynamic dropdown for the dictionary key, populating the dropdown with the fields that our API gave us. The  user selects what field he wants to send, and sets the value for that field using the data from a previous step or manually.Is this the correct approach, or is there a better alternative to solve this? Is there a similar example that I can follow?Thanks!

CUSTOMER REF AND ADDITIONAL INFO FIELDS ADDED TO SALES ORDER KATANA MRP ZAP

We currently use the Sales Order Zap that pushes google sheets Sales Order data to our Katana MRP system. Is there a way for Zapier to add in 2 more fields to this Zap: 1) Customer Ref 2) Additional Info? Looking on Katana MRP’s developer portal, I see they have script for both fields: https://developer.katanamrp.com/reference/create-sales-order We are able to sync up all other detail to our Sales Orders in Katana, however, we are manually going into each  Sales Order and entering the Customer Ref and Additional Info from our google sheet.

is there any possibility which help me to automate actions for end user? I need to create a zap which will have a trigger and an action. I want end user to use directly that zap. Is there any way it can be achieved? For example in the action I need to select some formats of data to be sent. All those format will be redefined by me, can be used by any user via Zapier.Thank you in advance for help.
