Update Google spreadsheet dropdown

In my Google spreadsheet, I have two sheets, Sheet1 and Sheet2.In the Sheet2, the first cell (row 1, column 1) has a Dropdown control with Data Validation rule to show all unique values from a specific column in Sheet 1 Requirement: I want the Zapier to change the value of the dropdown in the first cell of Sheet 2.I used the example from https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8495978803213-Find-and-update-spreadsheet-rows-in-Google-Sheets-on-ZapierHowever, the ‘Action’ step does omits row 1 and only lists the rows from row 2.How can I change the value of the dropdown using Zapier Action? For example, set the value of Sheet2!A1=”KIWI”?

I am trying to create a Webflow collection based on Google Form submissions. I have almost completed everything, but I am unable to upload an image to Webflow from the Google Form submission data, which is uploaded in Google Drive. Can anybody help me with this?

Zapier Tables are not shown when creating an Action

I have three different Tables in Zapier Tables. Now I want to create a new action (under action.zapier.com for my custom GPT) and when I configure “Zapier Tables: Create Record”, I want to choose a fixed value which is in this case the name of the table. But it only shows me one table name. This is the table name Im using in another action, but not the one I want to use for this action, The two missing tables are set to automatically send records and of course, we create by me. What could be reason these table names are not showing up?Thank you in advance 😀

Encoding URL String

I’m using Zapier in a trial at the moment to figure out whether I can use it to integrate Hubspot and Sharepoint.  So far so good, but I have a situation where I need to write a Sharepoint path (URL) back to a Hubspot property, and I need to URLEncode it so it works as a link.Currently, Hubspot doesn’t recognize it as a link because it has spaces in it.Does Zapier have any functions to URL encode a string, or even do a find/replace on certain characters in a string?Thanks!

How to handle multiple HTTP requests to callback URL

We’re using `z.generateCallbackUrl()` which works great in most cases.By default, the callback URL is called only once to notify our resource is ready.The problem is that our users can enable a feature, and it will send two HTTP requests to the callback URL, because two different resources are created that take a long time. (Yes, this is poor API design, but that’s not possible to change)For our action, I’m only interested in one of the HTTP requests, but I’m receiving the wrong HTTP request which doesn’t have the correct information to return to our users. Our ideal solution would be that `performResume` can be triggered multiple times, and we can tell Zapier to wait for the other HTTP request, and ignore the current one. How to make a Find-or-Create action that is useful in practice?

In my integration I’ve put a Find event, and a Create event, and linked them together to support Find-Or-Create.  But I’m struggling to see how to make that useful in practice, because of how it uses the same parameter data for both the Find and the Create.  I’m finding that I always want to use different parameters for the Find and Create.  Perhaps this is because the structure or behavior of my API is not as it ought to be.  I’d love to hear if any other devs have thoughts on this. Simplified example:My APIs are working with records that have a Reference and a Name.  The Reference is an immutable unique key, and the Name is a mutable data field.  However, the Name is mandatory - I can’t create a record without one, and my Create API will return an error if this is attempted.A typical use case would be to have a Zap that pulls these records from some other system, matching against my API by Reference, and telling my API to create or update the Name as appropriate.If the Zap does a Fin

Unable to get files in zap trigger test

I have created an integration to move files from my application to any other cloud service application supported by zapier.It is working with sample urls but not working with actual files.Test trigger step doesn’t show up any data when a file is sent in the request.

Issue with Zap Template - Email Autofill Not Functioning In Action Section

Hello Team,I have set up a Zap template with the following sequence: New form entry in zoho form (Trigger) → Email Verification App (Action).I'm reaching out to discuss a concern regarding the autofill email function in our Zap template. The sequence is as follows: When a new form entry is submitted in Zoho Form (Trigger), it should automatically fill in the email field in the Email Verification App, but it's not functioning as expected. Please take below Screenshot as a reference for autofill email is not working.can you please let me know how can I solve this ?Thanks

I cant publish zap after all steps without problem

Hello I am trying to make and publish an application in Zapier.while I tested the action for dynamic field, it always failed then I searched the community and saw the ticket.so I tried to make a zap, but I couldn’t make it.  this is my result of making a zap.I passed all the tasks, but I got the error status without reason. is it real that I can’t do the test while I make an action with a dynamic field? - (if there is any way to do the test, let me know that) If I get an error status without reason, let me know what I should do to solve the problem

How do I get all of the results of my GET request?

I am very new at this sort of thing and have never worked with code or API prior to this but I have been learning quickly and believe I have the things we need up to about 90% of the way good but this last issue I cant seem to figure out. Whenever I run my zap (or even the tests) for my Search Action using a GET request, it only returns the first result but I am trying to use it to either populate or update a table/sheet/database so I need all of the results. I can get pictures if needed but since I am new at this, I wasnt sure what would be relevant or not to include for someone to better and understand and assist me.

When is this company getting with the times and have DARK MODE????????

I’ve read comments about having dark mode and some were a year old and nothing yet.I’m thinking zapier is taking it’s customers for granted, most businesses want to hear from their clients on how they can improve, looks like this company really doesn’t care about their clients!!They have our money and think we are hear to stay.Well I’ve been here a short time searched this issue out and ended up here, this almost sounds like our present goverment!!  They could care less about what the citizens want regardless, and zapier is the same, if it’s been requested by their clients for that long and nothing yet what does that say?They don’t give a shit what we want just keep paying and shut up!! Even tho basically everyone online is using dark mode it’s old news, these guy could care less what we want!!  I learned about others before I came here, was being used the most but zapier is a lot more money to use and are behind the times! Just getting going and can easily switch obviously these guy d

New Shopify Order in Store 1 Creates a New Order in Store 2

Please remember that this is a public forum and to remove any sensitive information prior to posting.The issue we are facing is that each store has the same products, though obviously product IDs do not match, among other pieces of product details. Using Lookup Tables we’re able to switch names, IDs, etc., however when assembling the new Shopify Order Zap step the line items are not all being added to the product, along with associated SKUs, images, names, IDs. We’ve gotten quite deep into the weeds with our current Zap and I am sure a lot of it is unnecessary, but this was all throughout the troubleshooting. The issue appears to be replacing the line items from the Order Trigger with the correct Products in the new store. We have scoured the internet searching for a solution that seems to fit this unique situation, though to no avail. Providing screenshot of the (most important/used) steps thus far.  Intaking new

Distinguish between empty string, null and undefined

Is there some recommended way to handle/distinguish between unprovided data (null/undefined) and empty data (empty string) while developing custom actions?Endpoint handles not-provided data as “no not change” and provided data as “change” and empty strings are valid values. I can, of course, do it by having a boolean field next to every data field, but it feels too nasty...

Outbound email from Trello card moving to list for members

I am trying to create a Zap that will send an outbound email using Outlook to the Members of a Trello card that has moved into a specific list on a Board. The issue I am facing is trying to populate the “To” field in the Action section and selecting the correct data from the Insert Data options, this works if I add a static email address

langchain zapier integration issues

Hi,Currently using langchain 0.1.9, I am not able to integrate with zapier. With the API key I am able to list the zapier NLA actions but not able to interact with any of the actions.  Like I am not able to find email from my account. The LLM is hallucinating and I am not able to see any error message. Moreover I am not seeing any logs of connection to that particular action. Please let me know how can this be fixed Thanks,Shah

Workable integration - Requisition

Hello Everyone, In my company we’re using workable as ATS and Click Up as a project management system. We have a board to follow the requisitions progression. I was trying to automate the creation of a new task when a requisition is open. So in the workable plugin, I only see the candidates and job information. I know that in the API I can have access to the requisition information. Any idea how can I tweak the thing to fetch other types of date from it ? Thanks,  Alex,

Custom Gmail App Authentication Issue

I’ve built a custom (private) Gmail integration for a client in the Zapier Platform to use some API actions not included in the standard Gmail integration - checking whether a label exists for a given year, creating it if it doesn’t, adding a child label to the year (to represent a particular event), and then creating a filter so that emails from a given client are always assigned that label.Everything appears to be set up correctly.OAuth test authentication in Zapier platform works like a charm: Testing the action’s API request (which does all of the above in one action step) works as expected: Testing the action in the Zapier editor works as expected: But for some reason, live runs fail with the following error message:  Any ideas on what’s going on here? Hi, I am building a custom GPT and have enabled the action send gmail i zapier and all that stuff. However when I try to use the action, it tells me, that it isnt turned on yet. Does anybody know how to change that? Would aprechiate your help a ton!
