I’m putting together a zap that takes a new CRM contact (Zoho Forms into Streak CRM) and then updating information if it’s been found in Wave and Google Contacts. Presently (at least with Wave) I don’t see a way to CHANGE a contact’s information. It is possible to “search for” a contact, but if it exists I have to create a whole other workflow to update it. See, if it DOESN’T exist, I have the checkbox to “create one” but there’s no such checkbox to “update if exists”. You would think that Paths could solve this problem, but there’s no way to validate whether or not the search was successful, as far as I can tell, so there’s no way to tell Zapier what to do next depending on the outcome. How can I search for and then either update or create new in one zap? Thoughts?
I’ve created a Zap that will create a Jira ticket every time a new Zendesk ticket is created - this works fine. However, I need my Zap to also LINK the Jira ticket that was created to the Zendesk ticket it was created from via the Zendesk- Jira integration in Zendesk. In the screenshot below, I’d like for the Jira ticket that was created in my Zap to appear linked in the Apps section in the Zendesk ticket. Is this possible to configure my Zap to do this?
I have a tank table and a tank ticket table. The ticket table has a relationship setup that way users can pick which tank a ticket belongs to. When the ticket record is created I would like to set a flag on the tank table to show a ticket has been opened. Every time I do this the zap will work in testing but only for the row that I do it for. The zap will also work for other new records when I manually process it. It seems as if the trigger only works on manual processing or trigger testing. I have tried two types of zaps (1) new record > (2) search for existing record from step one’s tank key > (3) update tank key ticket flag to 1 I also tried new record triggers update (skipping the search)
Hi! I’m a total Zap noob and looking for resources and examples to learn. I’m trying to start simple and just have a Zap that will A) Add a new record to Constant Contact when they’re added to Autotask, and B) Update an existing Constant Contact record when one’s updated in Autotask. Finally squad goals for this to be successful are C) Adding tags and list membership based on fields from Autotask. Here are my challenges so far: Getting both Add and Update in a single Zap flow. I Need to educate myself on how to do this, since I can’t seem to do it with 1 series. I can do “add/update” on the Autotask side but the only way it’s working to Constant Contact is to break it out to just “add new”. I know a 2nd Zap could be used for update, but I’d like to find resources on the threads/mutlis to learn how to do this in 1 Zap flow using a lookup/find contact and if/then/else I assume. Hi, I am importing a CSV I get from an email and parsing that CSV, but when I go to add the data as contact records in the Mojo app (a CMS system which by the way doesn’t appear to support line items) I get funky results and errors like State: FL, FL, FL, FL (Failed to add record, state abbreviations must be 2 letters only, yours has 12). So… I would like to use Code by Zapier to create a ForEach Loop to overcome this issue. I want the CSV file to be read but only sent 1 line at a time. I’m struggling with a way to do this. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can write to Google Sheets if absolutely necessary, but I’d rather just do this in code and remove additional dependencies. I have enough dependencies already.
Hello All, I am trying to create a zap that will create a new sheet in a google sheet, add column headers, then write in several steps in the rows below. This zap is hooked up to our project manager software Trello and is triggered by the creation of a new project. My zap will run when a new project is created, it creates the new tab in the google sheet, adds 5 columns as headers, but then fails when it tries to create rows of data that are the subtasks of that project. I am using one action to lookup the data in Trello and it returns a JSON of the “checklist data”. From there I have tried multiple processes like converting to text (as line items), running the utilities Line Itemizer, and feeding the JSON directly to the Create Speadsheet Row in Google Sheets Action. Each attempt this step fails if I tell it to write to multiple columns. However it runs fine if I just write to the first column. The error it gives me was The spreadsheet row could not be sent to Google Sheets. The
Hello, I run a digital marketing agency. I build websites for my clients using webflow. My clients wants to automatically repost the blog on webflow posts across their social media pages such as Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, and Instagram. The idea is, once the blog post is uploaded on the CMS, the data gets pulled and automatically uploaded on the social media pages mentioned above. Is this something I can do currently with zappier?
I have set up a Zap that triggers when a new row is added in google sheets Upon testing everything works, but as soon as I say Turn on the zap it will do exactly that but when I navigate away the zap is suddenly back to off. There are no error logs or task history to see what is going on. Any help would be nice Thanks in advance

I send facebook ad leads to a client by email but he doesn't received them. I see a message in my inbox that an error occurred so it’s seem like the problem is with the email adress. What should I do?
When someone posts in a specific Slack Channel, I want it to email via Gmail and I have this step down. I included TS (which I believe is unique) in both the subject and the body. Went Slack to Path Path A = if TS does not exist Send new email (good up to this part) Path B, I want to reply to the original email if the TS already exists (someone replies to the thread). There is a find email option but that kind of dead ends after it finds an email. There is also a Reply to email option but not sure how to create a gmail search thread here and coming up dry on Googling this.
I am trying to reconnect an account I disconnected. I am following the help screen. It says I can connect an account from the “Zap editor” by selecting Connect an Account. For the life of me I cannot find the Zap editor. I search on zap editor in help and don’t get any help on it. How do I open the zap editor?? I also suggest to Zapier: Please modify your help screen on connecting an account to include a path to the editor Please add a help topic on the editor. Thank you.
Hi there, I am using Practice Ignition (PI) - a proposal software. I am looking to create a Google Drive Customer Folder with 5 Subfolders once my proposal has been accepted. The PI proposal accepted is an available trigger event already. I then can link and create my main customer folder but I am struggling to create subfolders with in this new folder in this 1 zap. Can anyone help?
I'm trying to create a new contact from Email Parser by Zapier to Active Campaign using the "Create/Update Contact in ActiveCampaign" action. It was working fine creating a new contact but now it will only Update the contact. Every new contact overwrites the previous contact instead of adding as a new contact. I have deleted zaps, parser mailboxes, and started from scratch multiple times but it will only update now. No settings were changed in ActiveCampaign. How do I get the zap to Create the contact, not Update?
Hi @chriswright! The dev team noticed a few issues in their final testing and we’re making sure that’s all squared away before we go ahead and roll out the new version of the MailChimp integration. I don’t have an ETA on the exact time frame, but I know that the team is actively working on it, so hopefully soon!

I have a starter account and I have made a zap that do the following : 1- insert images in google drive 2- Delay 2mn 3- insert a pin in Pinterest After some images that are ok, zapier has stopped my zap and I have this error : “The app returned "You have exceeded your rate limit.” How to fix this problem please? I’m using a Gmail ‘new email’ trigger for my Zap. It works fine, but today I discovered that the zap had turned itself off for some unknown reason. When turned it back on, it continued to work, but there were some emails received during the period when the Zap was turned off that were not processed. I would expect the unprocessed emails to be queued and then processed when the Zap is restarted - is there a way to make that happen? If there is not, then is there a way to make sure the Zap does not turn itself off, or at least pings an alert of some kind of it does?

Hello, I am ok with basic Zaps but getting a little stuck on time based zaps. What I am trying to do is at 11pm daily pull data from App A to App B. Can you please help me understand how to set it up. It seems if I make time the trigger then it will only input time related things into App B not the data from App A Additional info, not sure if pertinent: App A and B are actually both the same Google Sheets work book but a different sheet. The reason I am not just doing this all within Sheets is the sheet in question is for “Today’s Orders”. I have a script that deletes the data at midnight every day so that we have a blank sheet for new orders each day. I want to have another sheet that has a back up of all that data. I can’t do that within Sheets itself because the formulas are iterative so it would just delete the backup sheet when the source sheet gets deleted. So using Zapier, I want to Say at 11pm copy trigger the data from “Today’s Order” sheet to be copied to Backup sh
