SMTP by Zapier error: authentication failed: Connection unexpectedly closed: timed out

Hello,

i would like to connect an email address from all-inkl.com with SMTP by Zapier, but it's not working. Is there a solution for this?

-> authentication failed: {'test@zapiermail.com': (553, b'5.7.1 <test@example.com>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user m067e080')}

and this with port 465 ----> authentication failed: Connection unexpectedly closed: timed out

Hmm, it looks like you might not have entered the email for your SMTP account into the From Email field when connecting, is that correct?

The field doesn’t appear to be a required field:

But I’ve seen cases in the past that when it wasn’t filled out it tried to test the connection using test@zapiermail.com. And as that isn’t the same email as the account that’s being connected to Zapier it can cause this type of error.

Can you try adding the email you’re attempting to connect into that From Email field and let us know whether that sorts it?
