I’ve been building a specialized CRM and I’m now looking to be able to allow for end-users to send reminder emails to their clients. I was planning on implimenting this through Firebase and SendGrid but I’m thinking that maybe it’d be quicker to use Zapier for the MVP. Does anybody have recommendations for which services they like for this use-case? I’ve considered MailGun and SendGrid but that’s because they’re the only 2 I’ve been exposed to. The criteria I need is: Zapier Compatible for quick MVP deployment Good API documentation for non-Zapier related integrations Email verification (so that emails don’t send to bad email addresses) Everything else is pretty flexible. My first concern is finding a service that is pleasant to use. Any recommendation would be appreciated.
Hey group, I’m trying to create a bridge between Clickfunnels and Twilio. I only want the contact information (Name, Phone, and maybe email ) to transfer over to Twilio - but I Don’t want Twilio to automatically send an SMS. The only options I saw for integrating Twilio was, “Call A Phone Number” or “Send An SMS”… And that’s great - but I don’t want an SMS triggered immediately when a new lead comes in. What needs to happen, is when a lead comes in, their info is sent to Twilio, and they’re added to an automation we have setup in the system. After an hour or so, (we’ll add delays in Twilio), our automation then sends an SMS. But not immediately. Any thoughts on this?
Hello, I have a zap that sends out documents to be signed by students. Once they have been signed I would like to upload the PDF files to a MSSQL database in a Filestream column. I have tried two options: Signrequest to MSSQL Signrequest to Google Drive to MSSQL Both options fail to upload PDF documents that can be opened from the databse. In option 2 I can see the signed PDF document in the Google Drive but again when I try to upload it to the database the document is then not displaying when we click to open it in our management system. Any ideas?
Hello, I am building a simple zap as follow : When a contact in Hubpost get a deal, it create a new contact in Quickbooks. Everything is working, expect i can’t find the field “ Account number” in the stage “Create Customer in QuickBooks Online”. I have activated the otpion of account number in quickbooks. Good afternoon, I am using 2 applications for data integration. 1. Botmother and 2.Google Sheets I am new to the Finding / Updating Rows in Google Sheets tutorial. I can’t understand how I can configure Finding / Updating Rows in Google Sheets. And also in Botmother I use triggers at different stages in the sequence, but I encounter a problem - that I can not enter all the data in one line. And it turns out that when entering the data, one by one, each different trigger transmits its setpoints and, accordingly, this is carried one line below in the general design. Another caveat regarding restrictions. Can I update a whole row in Google Sheets or only 1 table cell when new values come from Botmother? I hope you will help me in these matters)
New on Zapier ! I’ve been working all afternoon to create my second Zap (had success with the first one!). We are selling on Shopify in different province in Canada, with each their sales tax. What do I have to do when created a Zap to make sure the Sales Receipt will be created properly (with proper tax VS province) in QBO ?
I am trying to create a zap that results in a new event being created to book a conference room in outlook. It is a 2 step zap (the first step I have figured out). Trigger: A new Calendar event is created in outlook (this actually occurs outside of the zap as a sync from from other software). Zap step 1: a meeting for is created in Gotomeeting, then Zap Step 2: Either the gotomeeting info is added to the outlook calendar event AND then the zap invites the conference room OR Or a new calendar event is created in the calendar for the conference room (with all of the data from the original outlook event and the gotomeeting). Bottom line is that ti cannot figure out how to get Zapier to create an outlook calendar event in a calendar other than my default calendar. Or alternatively to create a zap that adds an invite to another user (calendar).
So I’m pulling from eventbrite once an attendee is registered to add them to a builderall mailboss subscribers list. When I tested the eventbrite app, it worked fine. When I ran the test for builderall it pulled all the fields except the email field. It couldn’t find it. I’ve toggled settings on Builderall but it has not changed anything with Zapier. Can someone help me figure this out?
I get confused as I use SRV to connect MongoDB on all my other applications, and I don’t know how to find the host, port and other many fields from the SRV. Years ago, I know there are two ways to access MongoDB, and the SRV was so straight forward at that time, but now it is so complicated and I have totally no idea how to find every field, though. I’ve read the documents provided but they are not helpful, since I know exactly what the fields meant but I can’t find those fields on MongoDB using the SRV. Anyone can help me?
Hi I have a Zap that takes date from several cards in different boards and creates a new card (in a new board) Every time i make a change in the source card (like changing the placement of a custom field) the zap stops working (creates a bad card) and the only way for me to fix it is to create a new Zap exactly the same (copy will not do). Is there a way to reset the source data so the Zap “reset itself” Thank you and stay safe
Hi, I am currently using a Apify to generate a dataset consisting of 3 URL’s in the format of “url-string1, url-string2, url-string3”. I am trying to feed these three URL’s into an email as hyperlinks such as: <a href=”url-string1”>Link1</a> <a href=”url-string2”>Link2</a> <a href=”url-string3”>Link3</a> I split the 3 hyperlinks into line items with the comma as the separator using Formatter by Zapier » Text » Split Text and it produces 3 line items. From there, I have attempted to try to convert the line items to markdown and then replace some of the html with what I need but it is losing ampersands and some other characters in the markdown conversion so the URL’s break. Any ideas on how I could make a clean conversion of the 3 URL’s into hyperlinks? Thanks in advance!
Hi, I have a custom question in Zoom that I would like to transfer over to ActiveCampaign. I’ve used the Formatter by Zapier method to pull out the information I need but this only seems to work if I manually push it through a test in my Zap. It also shows the correct data is being pulled but when I enter it via the Zoom webinar sign up, reviewing the task history shows that nothing is being pulled and the field is blank. Currently the output from Zoom is in this format: [, , , ] Please help! Thank you!

My Zap is meant to fire when a Trello card is archived, to put data in a Google sheet. It works fine in test mode, pulling data from the archived card, but when I archive a new card, the data doesn’t transfer till I trigger the Zap. I understand polling vs. instant Zaps...but can I force a polling Zap to become instant?

I create google calendar event and i choose “conference” = Yes. but the conference default setting is Hangout, but i want it to choose zoom. as you can see in the attached, I have two conference options (e.g. as my google calendar has zoom plugin). How can I make zappier to set it to zoom? there is a custom field, what settings to put there ? see attached screenshots
Hello, I need to use a lookup table to search if a key contains a certain text, and not search for exact match of the text. The lookup key is Website URL. So if my website url is www.mywebsite.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=tampabrand I want the formatter to search for ?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=tampabrand and if it finds it, then the value is: Google AdWords Tampa Brand And so on and so forth for every UTM I’m using in ad campaigns. However, my current lookup table is looking for an exact match, and since the lookup key has a URL on the front end of the UTM, it’s not counting it. I can’t enter the full URL as the key because the website URL could be any different page on my website. So I need it to only search for a URL containing the UTM. How can I achieve this? Thanks.
