My Zap keeps turning off

Hello

One of our zaps that we have set up to feed data from gravity forms into a google sheets page keeps turning itself off shortly after turning it on.

 

There are no errors logged.

 

When setting up and testing the zap, everything works 100% correctly.

 

Despite this, the zap will without fail turn itself off minutes after being turned on.

 

We cannot afford to have any downtime in this regard. I’ve sent multiple tickets over the past week and have not yet received a response.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Check the Zap Details > Change History by clicking the (i) icon on the Zap.

Thanks for the response

 

I see now that it has been paused due to the API key not having write permissions.

 

I don’t understand why it would need write permissions though, when it’s just reading stored responses from gravity forms? With other websites that we manage which we’ve set zaps up in the exact same way (with read only permissions), they’ve worked fine.

 

Would you happen to know why in this case it is different? And why in testing and setting up it has worked correctly.

Likely that the Gravity Forms Zap app integration needs write permissions because there are actions available: https://zapier.com/apps/gravity-forms/integrations#triggers-and-actions
