Hi I am trying to create a Zap where it sends off an email through ActiveCampaign but there is no option to edit the body of the emails as you can see from the attachment.Is this available through a higher plan in Zapier as I have the starter plan, or is this not possible at all?Thanks in advance.
Hi everybody, I’m a Salesforce Admin and new to Zapier. As my first integration project is really urgent, I would be really grateful to benefit from your experience. Here is what I have to do: Our Marketing dept. hosts Webcasts on GoToWebinar. Attendees are invited by Email to register in GoToWebinar. Whenever somebody registers in GoToWebinar, this needs to be reflected in Salesforce, with these decisions and actions: Is this person already a Campaign Member?yes → update Campaign Member Statusno → next questionIs this person a Contact in SF?yes → create Campaign Member, set Statusno → create Lead, create Campaign Member, set status How would you do this - use Zapier to create a simple Lead in SF and then do all the searching and creating in Salesforce with a Flow? Or create a more complicated Zap and do all the work in Zapier? Is that possible at all? I’m really looking forward to your feedback on how you would tackle this. I just can’t afford to lose time by backing the wrong horse…
So I’ve just discovered Storage (thanks Troy) and I’m wondering if it is a good fit for another project that I’m working on.After reading the docs, I wasn’t clear on a couple of things but first I’ll present my use case.I’m trying to manage a list of ID numbers (10 digits each) At any given point there can be about 2,000 different IDs My zap is just going to check if an ID exists before moving onQuestions:Key limit is 500 keys. I’ll only have key (ID), though, right? Inactive keys deleted after 3 months. Does this mean if a key is not acted upon (value added, deleted, searched, etc.) that they entire list goes away or just specific values in the list? I assume the first but I read something somewhere that suggested the later. Storage values up to 25kb. Does this mean each value can be up to 25kb or the key has a 25kb limit across all values? Want to make sure I don’t run into any limits.I was also thinking that, instead of an action to add/remove IDs one at a time, that I would instead
Hello, I am about to publish my app on Zapier and I’ve come across an issue regarding a Beta Action: the Looping by Zapier. The issue is that I cannot share the zap since it uses a beta action. Does it mean I will not be able to use that action even when my app will be public? Are Beta Actions not allowed in ‘production’??
Hi guys! I am trying to create a Zap, where the trigger is “New entry form in Zoho forms”. I am trying to set “default value” using Zapier Formatter → text → Default value → Input = file from zoho forms and default value is “n/a”. I am using this step in case there isn’t any file, so that next actions aren’t skipped.Everything worked well, I set the default value for few files, but it suddenly stopped working in another path and all I get is: While requesting "dev_file" from Zoho Forms (1.17.0) we ran into an error: The app returned "401".I have reconnected the app, tested the connection, also used another browser and another device, but I still get this error.Is there any solution to this? I really don’t understand, why it worked like 13 times and stopped working on the 14th. Thanks!Jana
When I set-up a date for two people in google calendar (I’m a matchmaker), I want to trigger a SMS text introduction the day before the date to introduce/connect the two people? Is there a way to do this? Happy to sign-up for whatever services there are.
Any idea what may be causing these three OBJ icons to appear?Results from a GCal Action step with static email addresses (not references to previous steps)There’s nothing fancy going on in the Google Calendar Action step - just a group of emails added as guests in a “Create Detailed Event” action. Of note, the e-mail addresses are entered via static text, not dynamic references to previous steps.Possibly something to do with the “OBJ” e-mail account (it’s a gmail business account). It doesn’t show up like that in other GCal events.Of note, the picture isn’t showing up but the other two e-mails are from the same business domain and their pictures do show up.I’ve double and triple checked that there are no leading or trailing “ “ whitespaces...Thanks!
Hello all, I am trying a Code Step which would split multiple input strings.But the issue I have is the following.In this case I have 3 sets of data. So each key string contains 3 values, delimited by “,”The code however returns correctly the 1 value, and does not return the other values. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
See previous post for background info: I have a Zap set up that does the following stepsChecks for New/Updated records in an Airtable view Creates a Google Doc from a template based on the info in the record Emails that Google Doc out as a PDF attachment to the email address in the Airtable record (By attaching the Export Links Application/pdf link from the previous step)Upon trying this again with a “Delay After Queue” step implemented, most of the emails sent were completely fine and attached the PDF as intended. But a random selection of records, the attachment to the email was ServiceLogin.htm, and my clients weren’t able to access the PDF.Anyone have this happen or have a workaround for how to prevent it from happening in the future? I received advice to try adding in the delay step - which didn’t work. I also tried doing smaller batches (I was initially doing 200 - I’m now only doing 40 - edit: tried it with 5 and it still happened) - and the issue still happened. I saw some post
A Zapier user here.I am wondering if multiple zap results are common or just my problem.I send new signup data to Airtable then slack notification. But, it’s irregular that some run ends up with 3 duplicated results, sometimes 2, sometimes even 5. Is there something I should do about this?Thanks.John
Hi!i try to update the shopify quantity but always get the same error. The product with this SKU and variable is available. If i choose the shopify product directly it works but the the quantity will be removed always from the same product. We get the product infos from a mail we scrape with mailparser.io
Events are not being copied from one Google Calendar to another. Are there limits on Zap runs per day?
I have a zap that copies events from one Google calendar (A) to another Google Calendar (B). I have zaps left (I am on the free plan) but many new events in A aren’t copied to B (some are, so the zap is working, and there are no errors when I look in the log). Is there some limit on how many times a zap can run per day or something like that? A is my Facebook calendar that I subscribe to in Google Calendar if that changes anything.
Hi I would like to create a record in Airtable for each single item my customers order on my Shopify website.But I don’t know how to create a loop based on the quantity that appears in the line items.As an example, let’s say my customer has ordered 2 of the same t-shirt, I wold like to create 2 records in Airtable with quantity = 1 for each. I need to create several zaps where if a lead has been updated in CRM (like several fields) then we do other tasks like send off emails, etc. But I unfortunately cannot even get the initial trigger in my zap to test properly. When I select “Lead Updated” as the initial trigger, and go to test, I get the following error shown in the screenshot below. My timeout from CRM side is set to two minutes. But when trying to test this zap, it stops and states the error below in about 30 seconds. I cant really complete any more of the zap because no fields show for me to map other elements depending on the nature of the update.I also have new leads coming in every minute.
I am trying to set up a series of Zaps to send specific emails from active campaign when a student completes certain lectures on teachable. We have drafted specific emails to be sent after specific lectures have been completed. I am noticing two errors in the zap I have created but can't figure out a solution. The first error is on the teachable side under "test trigger." It's pulling lecture progress A, B, C, D, etc.I need progress A at 2% Progress B at 7% Progress C at 21%There is a different zap created for each percentage of progress in the course to correspond with completing a specific lecture so that the email created for that lecture is sent upon completion. Upon creating a new zap and trying to pull lecture progress, it updates all Progress's regardless of letter to the same percentage. Hi, is there anyway to find and add text in incoming and/or outgoing email subjects with text from a database. In this case, find a project number in the subject, query a database for a paired number, and insert that number into the subject line as well?
I use Zapier to connect my Google Drive to other applications. The automation triggers when a new file is uploaded to Google Drive. However, sometimes the Last Modified Date on Google Drive is wrong (days, weeks, or months prior to upload date). Therefore, the automation does not trigger because it assumes the file was uploaded at an earlier date. Is there a way to make the Last Modified Date on Google Drive change to the Upload Date? OR Is there a way to make Zapier recognize the file upload even though the Last Modified Date isn't the day of the upload? NOTE: we are using a Shared Drive on Google Drive. Thanks!
Setting up Zap to connect Stripe payment link to add a new client to Trainerize and assign the corresponding purchased master program. I got the Trainerize actions working, but trouble with Stripe trigger event. Can’t find any trigger event in stripe and I don’t know how to create one. I tried creating a new purchase in test mode, but that doesn’t do it. This is the error... We couldn’t find an eventCreate a new event in your Stripe account and test your trigger again.
Hey Team, I have a calendly event that will always have a ‘guest’ added to it and I am trying to add that email address to my zap.When I run a test on the calendly data coming through to Zapier, it only includes parameters for the main invitee, not listing the ‘guest’ invitee. Is there a way I can get the guest’s email address and use that for future steps in the Zap?
Hi,I have a few Zaps running that create a Hubspot Deal/Contact based on a Ninja Forms submission. I am also running Google Ads and I connected our Google Ads account with Hubspot so we can track contacts and deal generated from a click on an Ad. My question is will Zapier prevent that tracking logic between Hubspot and Google ads?It currently seems to disable some of the tracking features of Hubspot tracking code (i.e. some of my ninja forms non-connected to Hubspot via Zapier are still tracked and contacts created in Hubspot with website activity information such as pages viewed but for my Zapier-connected forms I cannot see that information, only the information passed by Zapier).I look forward to your adviceThomas
