I’d like to automatically open a browser window whenever a new line is added to a Sheet - using the URL found in that new line in the Sheet. The Sheet side is very straight forward. However, does anyone know if it’s possible to link the zap to a browser so a new window is automatically opened? I’m thinking a chrome extension may be involved in the solution as there needs to be some kind of link to the relevant user’s browser. However, I’ve not found a supported browser, and the Zapier chrome extension itself does not appear to offer this functionaility.
Hello,I was just wondering what Zapiers policy is towards small, indie developers and startups. I have tested Zapier for about a month or so, and have noticed that the pricing is not really supportive towards small developers. Billed annually doesn’t make much sense to me, seeing how many small apps are just starting off and do not yet have the user-base to require such a one-size fits all. Even the giant Google has a tiered pricing system with firebase, and they allow you to pay as you grow.Does Zapier support small developers, or are only established and successful businesses allowed to maintain zaps?The truth is, almost all the zaps could be created free with a little code, as you well know. And, for small developers, the option to spend the extra time on the code or pay for an entire year when they do not even know if the app will succeed, will almost always lead them to just spend the time to create the code in their apps themselves.It may be wise for you guys to come up with
We are building a zap - connecting gravity form to Zapier and then to Salesforce, the test connection and able to test with sample data as well. However whenever we try to switch on the zap/app it comes up with this error “Error turning Zap on: The app returned "The API key provided does not have write permissions."PS: I am using system admin user to connect to SF. anyone had this issue ? any help is appreciated to resolve this issue. thank you
Hi everyone,So I am using PreciseFP and docusign to send out a template that “could” have up to 4 different signors. I have already created my template in Docusign for the data to populate and the recipients. I do not see a spot when creating a ZAP to link in from my PreciseFP engagement any additional signers. I can select any recipient initially, but it only allows for one to be added. Help!
Hello, I am looking to create a simple bot where I can have users enter information in discord using a specific format, and with that format have Zapier register each line of the format as discord data to insert each line in a new column of the same row. Is this doable? If so what method should I use? I noticed when they send one message it only shows up as the general content.
If after running the “Find Associations” step in HubSpot, your company returns multiple values (multiple associations), how could you then find each deal? There does not appear to be a “find multiple deals” step available. Is there a workaround for this, please? For example, my test returned two associated deals, but depending on the input information, the number of associated deals could vary. How could I set this up (maybe using a webhook?) to have the zap find each deal for each output? Thanks for your help!
I have a Gravity form on my client website, with a set of checkboxes (for workshops that the contact is registering). I would like to have those checkboxes automatically add a correlated tag to the contact when it is added to my list in CC. Is there a way?Before, I was using Mailchimp, and the way it was handled is by creating a set of groups, each correlated to a workshop/checkbox. And in the Feed Settings, there is a category called Groups, where I could set conditions (if “Select your Workshop” is B, assign contact to Group B)
Hello,When I am setting up a new zap and I test the trigger, it does not send any authentication information even though I have authenticated an account in the prior step. So when it goes to try to get some test data, I am not receiving any authentication information. Does anyone know why?
I need some help figuring out a workflow that accomplishes what I'm after.Here's my situation:I’m a Zapier Professional Plan subscriber I'm launching a paid subscription-based community in Circle (they have a Zapier integration, and I’m not flexible on this tool. I’m sticking with this tool). My current shopping cart is SamCart (also a Professional plan subscriber) and it does subscriptions. It also has Zapier integration. (I’m not married to this tool….I can change to another shopping cart tool if an elegant solution exists elsewhere) My customers are charged monthly, on a month-to-month basis (cancel anytime), and when they pay, they get access to the full month they paid for (so, if there subscription bills on the 1st, and they cancel on the 15th, they get access till the 30th). My email database is Drip. SamCart has an integration with Drip too.I’m successful in enrolling customers in my Circle community upon SamCart purchase with a zap. This works great. Hey Zapier Community!Does the “New Message Posted to Channel in Slack” no longer trigger for threaded replies in the selected channel? Both on the test trigger data, as well as looking at the history if I turn on the Zap, look to only be picking up “root” messages, but none of the replies.Please let me know if there’s another way to trigger a zap for these (and as a bonus, if there’s a way to get the content of the parent of the thread!)Thanks!
I am using a digital calendar I bought, but it allows people to schedule to my calendar the day of. I would like to have it where no one can schedule on my calendar a 24 hour block. I thought if I triggered an event to be scheduled to my calendar each day at midnight, it would keep that day from being scheduled. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks.
I have a Zap to create contracts from project records in an Airtable base. While creating the Zap, the email output is correct, showing “email@example.com”, but when I send it through PandaDoc, I get: “The app returned “validation_error” And it looks like Zapier is sending through the email as “fields__Email” instead of the email address itself: I hardcoded the email and the document went through just fine. Any guesses on why dynamic values for the “Client” email isn’t working?
I am trying to set up a Zap which pulls data from Clio into an Excel Spreadsheet which is located in a Business Group OneDrive or Sharepoint online. I have no issue pulling the data from Clio and can push it into a Google Sheet or an Excel spreadsheet on a personal (not shared) onedrive. But I don’t seem to find the way to access the group onedrive folders to be able to push there. Any help appreciated.
Hi Zapier community, I’m facing an issue which I can’t comprehend. Can you please look into the error message below and see if you have an idea where the mistake may be lying?As the title indicates, what I’m trying to accomplish is that every time a new record is created on Insightly, Zapier checks whether that contact already exists on HubSpot (by checking its email address). If it doesn’t already exist on HubSpot, then it should be created. If it already exists, no further action is required.When I manually create a new contact on Insightly it works perfectly well. Once another user created an account on Insightly… I got this error message. Please let me know if you need any further information to analyze this case.Thank you very much.Kindly,Paulo
Trying to create a Zap between Trello and Google Contact - To update or create g a contact when a label is added to a card. For some reason I cannot see any of the card's custom fields (such as email or name). The strange thing is that if I change the trigger to something else (like comment added to a card instead of a label added) all the fields are now visible and can be used. Any ideas are welcomed Update - Now I just cant see the custom fields anymore regardless of the trigger type, the value just don't appear in the test page
Is anyone else having problems adding their RightSignature account to Zapier. I read somewhere that the integration hasn’t been updated to support the new version of the Citrix API, but not sure if that’s still the case. Looks like the issues been around since at least June of 2020
I have a Zap which uses Buffer as a task to schedule post to an Instagram account. However, I get this error when I test that step. The task has just some text, a scheduled time and an image.“The app returned "The web server reported a gateway time-out error.".The strange thing is the task works fine and the message is posted to buffer. Anyone any idea what’s going on or would it have anything to do with the attached image?
