Hi Team,

We are using Zapier to integrate Facebook leads ad with Pardot. We have set up multiple zaps for the purpose. The zap has one action which checks if a prospect exists in Pardot, if no then creates a new prospect in Pardot.
However, we want to add one more action here which covers the second part. Check if a prospect exists in Pardot, if yes then update the prospect. At them moment these are two different actions and we don’t know how it works or should be used.
Can you please guide us to add the actions as below:
1) Check if the prospect exists in Pardot.
If YES,
THEN  UPDATE
the Prospect
If NO,
THEN CREATE
the Prospect

Thanks,
Ash

Hi @Ashwini

Good question.

Try these Zap steps:

  • Action: Pardot - Find/Create Prospect
  • Action: Filter
    • Condition: Prospect found = true
      • Exclude if most Prospects will be found to save a Task
  • Action: Pardot - Update Prospect

OR if you have a Zapier Pro+ plan, you can use Paths: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496288555917

Thanks Troy, I will give it a try using the steps you provided. Unfortunately, we don’t have the Zapier Pro+ plan.

Howdy there @Ashwini - checking in to see if you were able to accomplish the steps above? Any sticking points you have and care to share? We’re here to help :]

Best,

Rachael
