ChatGPT Assistant Function Calling - Gateway Timeout

Hey everyone,I’m having a bit of trouble with Zapier and ChatGPT. When I do simple calls to ChatGPT through Zapier, everything works fine. But, when I try to do function calls, Zapier keeps timing out before getting a response from the GPT Assistant.Has anyone faced this? How do you stop Zapier from timing out on these function calls? Any tips or tricks to share would be awesome.

Issue with my Apollo,io inegrating with Zapier

Hello  I’m having issues with Apollo triggers.  I am initiating off of a new contact and that does not seem to be starting my Zap and sending to my google sheets. Any workaround here?Thanks!

New Contact Apollo.io Trigger is not triggering my Zap

Hi!  Has anyone else had issues with the apollo.io Triggers?  I am initiating off of a new contact and that does not seem to be starting my Zap. The documentation with Apollo is unclear what exactly counts as a new contact- is it saving the contact to a list or a different step. Thanks!KT

ActiveCampaign Postmark error: Required field "Template Model" (TemplateModel) is missing.

Hello, I have a template in postmark, I want to send that template to an email list in a google sheet.  I’m using “Import all rows”, when I test I get this error about “Template model”.  I don’t know what I have to put there (is not the template name).  See the image.Help me please, thanks.

'Send Envelope Using Document in Docusign' The app returned "Unauthorized".

I am making a zap in which I use a webhook to connect to glide and then I send an envelope using a document (obtained from the Glide data) to docusign. However, every time I've tried it gives me the same error: 'Failed to create an envelope using document in Docusign. The app returned "Unauthorized".’ Although I've read the troubleshooting guide for this type of error, I can't seem to understand what is happening, given that if I instead use the option "Send Envelope Using Template” it works correctly.

Keap error: The app returned "If you're the owner of this account,.".

In the now sunsetted Keap Max Classic zaps, we could apply a tag in an Action step by using the output (text field) of a previous step (and even adding additional text afterward). See below for an example. We have dozens of Zaps that do this for our clients. In the new Keap Zap, this option is no longer named Tag Names. It is named Tag IDs. I can apply the same logic and use an output of a previous step to apply a tag to a contact in Keap, as per below.However, an error occurs. It seems to be because I have not selected a specific Tag in the dropdown list of tags, nor entered a Tag ID. I am trying to apply a TAG NAME (which definitely does exist in the Keap App).Is this a functionality gap? We cannot type in the name of a Tag or use some text from a previous step to apply a tag? This is critical for us and our clients as there are simply too many tags and combinations to manage by manually selecting specific tags in this action step. Perhaps there is a way to use Formatting / Utilities

Squarespace isn’t triggering despite a successful test.

My test step in trello works, the test will generate the card. However actually submitting the form is not triggering the zap. I know my squarespace form settings are correct because I have an existing zap that works already, which I copied the step directly from the working zap and am only changing the second step. Not sure what the issue is. Appreciate any help with this.

Financial Cents error: This auth is expired. Please reconnect it here.

I am trying to create a zap where I need to connect Ignition with Financial cents but I am having issue connecting my financial cent accounteverytime I try to connect it an error is shown This auth is expired. Please reconnect it here. and when I reconnect nothing happensI have tried to remove it and then reconnect, use different browser, use different ISP nothing seems to be working

Hi,I’ve tried to login to AWeber to create a Zap but I keep getting the following error message:Oh, foo.Zapier could not connect to your account.ExternalHTTPSConnectionPool(host='auth.aweber.com', port=443): Read timed out. (read timeout=39)When I retry, I get this message:SERVER ERROR 401UnauthorizedError: OAuth key invalid. I keep getting emails from AWeber that I’ve connected Zapier Connect to my AWeber account. I’ve tried to connect on different browsers and connecting in different ways in my Zapier account. Nothing seems to work.

Reason for Notion step error - The app returned "Unsaved transactions: no more connections allowed (max_client_conn)".

Dear community,I set up a simple Zap that creates a new database entry in Notion for completed Todoist tasks which was working fine. Reddit error: JSON errors, SUBMIT_VALIDATION_FLAIR_REQUIRED, and your post must contain post flair.

I am trying to setup a zap that sends a post to Reddit once a new Wordpress post is published. When testing the action, i get a message with the following json errors below (image also attached.)Thing is there is no field in the Action fields where i can enter the Reddit flair. There are fields only for Title, Subreddit and URL. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?json errors: 1SUBMIT_VALIDATION_FLAIR_REQUIRED Your post must contain post flair. flair

Sub-zap returned values are unusable

I have a zap that calls a sub-zap and returns a value from the sub-zap that I need to complete the zap process. In the above photo I call the sub zap that creates the username from input data from previous steps. This photo is the sub-zap. It takes the The 1st name, adds the 1st initial of the last name then attaches the date at the end. Returns the formatted Username to the zap to be used in subsequent steps.  Even through I can see the Output Value in the action step to update a record on zapier tables, when I test it, there is nothing there for the Username as shown below. I’m fairly new to this and this is bogging my mind as to why it is doing this..

Zapier Creating Duplicate Contacts in Lead Connector

I’m trying to update a contact field in Lead Connector. But, instead it creates a duplicate contact in lead connector. This has never happened before so I’m not sure why all of a sudden it’s being weird.

Failed to create a record in Airtable The app returned "Unknown field name: "fldIqefG32VFrYJgq"".

Hey all,I tried to find similar issues on the forum but couldn’t find a solution. I’ve had a this Zap working before, but now that I copied it to do it for another project, it’s giving me errors. I copied my first base in Airtable, emptied the records, and then connected it to Zapier again. I tested the connection and it works. What I’m doing with the Zap is the following:1. I collect news from Feedly2a. Then I create a new Record in my base (the copied base, with its own name, and own working connection)2b. I put parts of that news (Title, Publication Date, Source, Content, etc.) into Airtable columns for the respective new Record.This works for the earlier zap, but doesn’t work for the new one. Whenever I try to test this, i get the error: Failed to create a record in Airtable The app returned "Unknown field name: "fldIqefG32VFrYJgq"". I have checked the field names in the base, and these correspond. The error refers to the field name of the “Title”. But when I remove the Title, it r

Date Issue with Zapier Table When Integrating with Notion

Hello! I'm using Zapier and have encountered an issue with date formats while integrating it with Notion.I am currently using the YY:MM:DD format for dates, and my timezone is set to Asia/Seoul. Both of these settings are configured correctly in both my Zap and the Zapier table fields.However, when I update a date in the Zapier Table, such as converting the date (Ex) 2024-05-05 to match the format and timezone, it gets recorded as 2024-05-04. The date is reduced by one day when it's entered.Is this a known issue with Zapier tables?

ActiveCampaign error: The app returned, "The value for custom date field ID 25 looks invalid.

I am trying to connect my Teachable new users to Active Campaign. However I keep running into the issue. However the only fields that I’m importing are: email, full name, coupon code, and course name. Meaning NO date fields.I tried converting every date field (even though not in use) to the requested format. But I am still getting the same issue.Please help me figure out the issue I am totally stumped.

Chatbot - using GPT4 not referring to knowledge sources

I have just upgraded to premium chatbot and it can use Zapier’s own GPT3.5 to refer to my uploaded knowledge source to answer questions. However, when I link my chatbot to my OpenAI account, and select GPT4, it cannot refer back to the uploaded knowledge source (although it functions well enough independently). Where am I going wrong?!

American date format even after adding the right formatter step.

Hi Everyone, I have a sub zap in which it is accessed with the desired date format (London) from the main Zap. I can see that the ‘DATA IN’ is in the right format. But the ‘Data Out’ in both ‘updating CRM step’ & ‘Zapier table step’ is coming out as american date format. Is it something I am doing wrong or technical issues that needs back end sorting.Attached is the screenshot.Thanks Sooraj

Google Drive error: The app returned "Error 404 (Not Found)!!1".

I am trying to create the following Zap: a document was completed in Docusign upload the signed document to GDrive Create a new folder, name it based on the Recipient Name (from docusign) move the file uploaded in step 2 into the folder created in step 3.I get stuck on Step 4. no matter what i do, i get the error: Failed to create a moved file in Google DriveThe app returned "Error 404 (Not Found)!!1".I tried everything in the custom field, from ‘ID’ to ‘Title’, but no success.Can anyone help?

Systeme.io error: The app returned "Email address is invalid"

I have a zap that links Mailchimp and system IO. When someone opts in to the Mailchimp form, Mailchimp sends the info to Systeme IO. It’s saying email is invalid. Does this just mean people are writing in an invalid email? Or is there a glitch with the zap?

Why is my zap removing someone from my subscription service immediately?

Why is my zap removing a person from my subscription service immediately when I have it set to remove the person at the end of the current period? I have the zap set up and tested and it removed my test person from my paid community immediately but I specifically have it set up not to do that so that the customer retains access until the end of their billing cycle.

Why are all the contacts I send to Mailchimp being assigned 2 names?

I have a Zap running that sends email sign-ups from Hello Bar to Mailchimp. Since Hello Bar only collects data from 1 name field, the customers’ full names were being added to both the First Name and Last Name fields in Zapier and showing up that way in mailchimp. For example: “First Name: John Smith Last Name: John Smith.”I was able to use the formatter to split the names into first name and last name and send them to Mailchimp that way. However, when I look at the contacts in Mailchimp, all the names now look like this “First Name: John, John Last Name: Smith, Smith.”Any ideas on why that would be? Or possible solutions?

Eventbrite Zap only creates Salesforce record for purchasers, not all attendees

My zap to pull event attendees from Eventbrite works except that it only creates a Salesforce record for the purchaser not all attendees. So if a person buys two tickets, only one name comes through.
