I have 2 Google Calendars and have a Zap that runs when a New Event is created on GCal A, it creates a New Detailed Event on GCal B (identical to the one of GCal A). I would like to create a Zap so that when the event is cancelled on GCal A, it gets cancelled on GCal B.The problem I am running into is how to find the same event on GCal B. If I try to use a step to Find Events in a Google Calendar, it will not search cancelled events.Seems to me there should be an easier way to keep these calendars synced so that one Zap handles adds, update and deletes of the events between the two calendars.

Hello, I am bringing in a json to a custom code step and it just isn’t converting to json to me. Not sure what to do anymore. I’ve defined this simple example to demonstrate:You can see that I have “input” and “code” to be defined exactly the same. Yet the output for them are different format. I would love input to put output the same as “in_code” I couldn’t find anything specific to Zapier that would help here.Thanks!

About a week ago or so there started to be some issues with my current zap not posting to my Facebook group like expected. It has since errored out and shut off. I’ve gone in and reconnected my Facebook account, testing it successfully in My Apps, but within my zap itself it fails to test and presents an unknown error without any advice on what is going on.  Of course Zapier is added to the FB group, it’s been working well for the last few weeks/months until just recently. Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Suggestions?   

I am not sure what’s happened with this integration is used to be solid as a rock.  Tonight I tried a simple “Find Product” search for a Product ID that’s a Variation.  The result was “nothing found”. Search for the parent ID, that is fine.  use the Variation ID and the Parent ID nothing found.  I am not sure how such a simple function using an exact Product ID simply fails.  

Hello everyone I’ve configured a Zapier integration with slack, triggered by new data in an google spreadsheet using the “Send Channel Message in Slack” action.If I configure in the slack channel “Settings” > “Posting permissions” > “You, and specific people” > Then I add the Zapier app, messages are no longer reaching slack. I’m not sure why this is the case as it was working before that. Since I’m adding the Zapier app to the channel permission I’d expect to be receiving the messages. Some other thingsSend as bot is set to Yes in Zapier The user in the action is mine which has admin permissions for that slack channel Could you help me troubleshoot why messages are not sent to slack? At the moment, I have to connect the Slack integration to my personal account. That’s a problem if I leave the company, because my Slack account will be disabled and the Zapier workflow will stop working.I could create a separate Slack user just for Zapier integrations, but that will cost 100$ per year just for that in Slack.In other tools, e.g. Grafana, I can create a Slack app, which has a webhook url, and specify that URL in Grafana. Grafana will then send the messages to the channel if the Slack app has access to that channel.Could I do something similar with Zapier, or do I always have to connect it to a personal Slack account?PS: This topic is surprisingly hard to google. I spent at least 20 minutes doing that, but maybe I’m using the wrong search terms. Sorry if this has been answered before.

Hey there, I’m looking to run a webhook call to the Dropbox API to return some video metadata, which is possible through the “get_metadata” call found here:https://www.dropbox.com/developers/documentation/http/documentation#files-get_metadata I understand getting the basic info, which I’ve got working, but I’m very green about API calls through webhooks. I’m just looking to pull metadata for a video, but I’m not exactly sure how the “data” fields in the webhook would need to be set up since when you set “include_media_info” to “true” it seems the call is looking for another parameter or a different data input which I can’t figure out from the docs. I get an error that says “true is not a valid boolean.” I tried creating a new key/value pair with “FileMetadata.media_info” set to “video” like the docs maybe suggested(?) but I get a different error “FileMetadata.media_info not a valid field.” Would anyone be willing to help? What am I missing? Thanks! 

I’m looking for a way to send an alert in Slack when there is a post or reply in the community that has a keyword and/or a specific tag added to it. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like either of those are trigger events in Zapier.  Doe anyone have any workarounds, or is there a way to add these as triggers?  

Hello Zappers, I am currently trying to create a zap that triggers when I receive an email into a shared inbox on Outlook.The zap then sends the information to a slack channel. I am having a problem when I try to send an attached file through to slack, Failed to create a send channel message in Slack While requesting "dev_file" from Microsoft Outlook we ran into an error: undefined: Item 'AQMkAGMzOTZiM2JlLWYxMzEtNDZiNS04N2FkLTZlOGVmNWFkMjllYQBGAAADgZo94GY1K0C4iXGjiFbJGwcAfG8FUdOgaUCl00_xx6m8zwAAAgEMAAAAfG8FUdOgaUCl00_xx6m8zwAAAgVXAAAA' doesn't belong to the targeted mailbox 'f0af1522-eba8-462e-925b-7d**********'. I tested on my Gmail and it worked perfectly. Is this because its a shared mailbox? Is there any solution?

Is there a way to select me-south-1 region when singing in into DynamoDB via Zapier? I couldn’t find it on the drop-down menu.

I wrote a search step in my Zap to search the Trallo card by name, I passed name dynamically which I am getting from my other action step. It is unable to find the card on the board, however if I pass static name, it  search the card properly.I verified the name which I am sending dynamically but it is also correct. I verified the spaces and formatting, everything is identical. Not sure why it is not able to find the card.Here is the mapping of name I am passing for the card name.Thanks in advance

I’m unable to find data for the New Reaction Added trigger on a new Zap I’m working on. I’ve tried using a custom reaction and a ‘standard emoji’, but neither are working. I’m testing by adding the reaction to messages in a public Slack channel, but I’m still not getting any test data (I get “We couldn’t find a reaction”), which I take to mean that if I skipped test and enabled the Zap, my Zap simply wouldn’t work :(.    

Hi Everyone, I was working on Salesforce Integration with Quickbooks. I’m Integrating Salesforce Opportunity Products with Quickbooks. I have Multiple Products on an Opportunity and when I was trying to create Invoice for this Products, I can see that there is only one Product Name getting on All the Products of Invoice Lines. Does anyone ever faced this Issue?

Hello, I’m trying to automate a system to insert email text and images into a Google Doc with Zapier. I can get it to import the text, but the images aren’t coming in correctly, it seems like I might need something to parse the email first, then insert it. If images are linked externally in the email (ie newsletters, email signatures) it works fine, but if it’s just an image that has been dragged into the email it doesn’t work. Any ideas I could try would be most appreciated thanks

I do not understand why is not picking up the pixel since I have it active on my fb page and running events. Did anyone get a similar error while setting the pixel?Thank you

I have created a Zap to setup a lead on Salesforce. I pass the time value in the “03:00:00 PM” format to the time field of the Salesforce lead. But Zapier takes it in the “2021-09-17T15:00:00-05:00” format. Why?And then, it throws the following error.Could not create record of the "Lead" object: Cannot deserialize instance of time from VALUE_STRING value 2021-09-17T15:00:00-05:00 or request may be missing a required field at [line:1, column:287]Attaching screenshots.Time value that I pass. Time value that Zapier takes and throws an error. Looking for help. I’ve set up an endpoint for REST hook subscription in the trigger configuration, but it’s never called when enabling my zap (switching between Off/On):I’ve been taking a look to the events with the Monitoring tool and the subscription url is never hit. Could you please help me with this issue?

Hello Zap Community! I am looking for some assistance in setting up a Gmail (trigger) and Gmail (action) Zap. What I am trying to doSend an email (action) when I receive a new attachment (trigger). When I send the email, I have a subject line that looks something like this: CompanyName_ClientName_2022 and for the rest of this year I want the 2022 to remain in the subject, but when we hit 1/1/2023, I want the year to dynamically change to 2023. My current set upI am currently using a Gmail to Gmail zap with a Date/Time formatter step. Hello, I am creating a “new user onboarding” flow that takes data from a new form submission → google sheets → slack (for alert) → Freshdesk (for ticket) → then Asana (for template copy). I need Asana to do 3 things:Task #1 - Create a new project from template and name it with “[variableName] - Onboarding” (this works fine)Task #2 - Look up project “[variableName] - Onboarding” Task #3 - Add a new task to a specific section (section 1 i believe it is) and add comments to it.  I am getting errors when trying to do task #3. I’m thinking it cannot successfully write to it. I tried both the name of the actual project and the GID. Any ideas? Thank you very much

I would like to retrieve subscription info from our Shopify shop, who uses Paywhirl as subscription plattform.I tried to set up a GET Webhook by Zapier.  However, when I add the token in the field “Basic Auth”, I only get “Unauthorized” I also tried to set an additional header to use tokens...same result: My Question - Any Idea how to bring this GET through?
