I have a zap set up that works great forwarding files from my email account (not gmail) to dropbox, but it includes all files (pdf, csv and jpgs) in a zip folder.Is there a way to forward only pdfs? I don’t have the File name option, only this one: Attachment: (Exists but not shown)
So my test are working just fine. Moving data from Salesforce to Follow Up Boss. I have turned the zap on and have triggered the action to start the zap and nothing is happening. There is nothing in history nothing.I went back to my zap editor and was able to pull new test data by the new records that are matching the data. GOING CRAZY :)
I’m trying to parse information from Gmail to Zoho CRM - Sales Orders module and get this error:Unable to create entry in module: Sales_Orders. Error : Invalid data for the field product. Detail : expected_data_type long, index 0, parent_api_name Product_DetailsI tried different combinations but failed. The screenshots are below. All works fine when I switch to Deals module. But it shows errors when I use Sales Orders, and the error is always about the product no matter what information I use there. Is there anyone who faced the same problem? Is there a way to solve it? Im using Streak and Zapier to manage a little business, i want to know if the next situation is posible:So i have like 400 new boxes created each month, and each box represents a case. I want to assign 50 boxes to every person in my team, so they can each manage 50 cases every month. And i also want when they closed a case (when they move a box to “finish” stage) that automatically assign them a new box from the “new” stage, so they always have 50 and no more. Is there a way to do this?I managed to automatically assing a box to a person when its moved from the “new” stage to the “is ready to..” stage, but i want to limit the number.
I have a Zap set up that does the following stepsChecks for New/Updated records in an Airtable view Creates a Google Doc from a template based on the info in the record Emails that Google Doc out as a PDF attachment to the email address in the Airtable record (By attaching the Export Links Application/pdf link from the previous step)I tested this out several times to my own email, and it worked great. Once I turned the Zap on and added about 200 records into the view, it created all the Google Docs successfully. The problem was in the email step. For about 150 of the records, the email was completely fine and attached the PDF as intended. But for the other 50 or so records, the attachment to the email was ServiceLogin.htm, and my clients weren’t able to access the PDF.It seemed to be completely random as to which people didn’t get the PDF, but rather the ServiceLogin link.Anyone have this happen or have a workaround for how to prevent it from happening in the future? (#200) If posting to a group, requires app being installed in the groupI have reinstalled the Zapier App and anebled it but still get the error message suggesting the app isnt installed.Any suggestions on how to fix?
Hi all,We want to hide attendees list in all our google calendar events (setup in google calendar: settings+general+events+hide attendees). When we integrate with zapier, this default parameter is just ignored and the attendees see all the information. What customization will permit to inherit this setup through zapier? I currently run a zap that triggers whenever a student completes a lesson. I noticed that I can potentially use this information to spot someone pirating my lessons. So I would like to set up an email notification whenever a student completes lessons back to back, meaning the zap gets triggered repeatedly. I’m trying to access a board’s ID through Zapier’s code (Python) action.The Python code that checks the type of issue (as a status) and links it to an ID that will be used to assign the issue to a board based on the linked ID.When I do this, I get the ID just fine, but the problem is that Zapier’s Monday.com system isn't recognizing it. There should be more columns, but there isn’t. With code, and broken columns.How it SHOULD look, based on the structure of the actual board. The IDs are the same, but it’s not coming through. Is this a Zapier limitation, or is this a problem on my end?
Hi, I’ve got questions about how to do 2 different things in Google drive:I’m generating a Google Doc from a template, and this part I have working fine. However, what I really want is to generate a PDF from the template. I know that I can just use a different URL for the resulting document to get a PDF version of the Google Doc, but how do I actually save the PDF version of the file into the same Google drive folder? I occasionally recreate one of the Google Docs to incorporate changes to the template, and in the situation where the result doc already exists (same file name), I want the new file to simply overwrite the previous file, as one would expect to happen. However, what happens instead is that a new file is created with the same name, and then BOTH files are in the folder, which is stupid. Is there a way to check if the file already exists and delete it first? I don’t see any “delete” action on the Google connectors.Thanks for any help!/mike

I am interested in the architecture of Zapier first, before getting into the detail.I can see how I could use a Retrieve Poll to pick up for example a group of orders from one application. Is there a way to parse the data in Zapier, before run a POST to a second application to send the orders to that application - because the two applications refer to the data differently?Is it relevant that the first application is already connected to Zapier (but has no relevant Zaps created), but the second application is not?Is it better to use tools other than Zapier, or is this perfectly feasible?I support many customers on the first application, and have many potentially different scenarios of posting to or getting data from other applications, both already in the Zapier community (eg Shopify, WooCommerce) and also not in the community. I’m keen to understand whether Zapier represents a good potential middleware solution with hopefully replicatable code, even if this requires some coding inside
