Hi everyone,I have a very interesting use case that some others might have run into as well. The use case is for Hubspot contacts and deals and updating these in a third party app or other database. Here is the issue: There is no way to have a trigger that notices a change to hubspot associations. That is, if you change a contact associated with a deal - there is no trigger for that.A workaround I have created is to use the trigger ‘update on property change’ and use the property change ‘last modified time’. But now there are a LOT of triggers that are created. Every chat, conversation, email, phone call, everything is a trigger.So then I dealt with it in three parts:A trigger system that sends a webhook A catcher system that sorts and filters these triggers and passes on to the actual updater The updater that updates the database with all sorts of interesting things (looping through associated contacts to get their details and update them for example) but this is not a concern for the
Looking for an alternative to Importrange when performing formulas on data imported to Zapier. Importrange is slowing down my sheet to the point of almost being useless. Here’s some context:Using Zapier to create new spreadsheet rows. It creates rows in sheet 1. On sheet 2 I want to perform various formulas using the imported data.So on Sheet 2: Cell A2 I have =if(sheet1!A2=”A”,1,0)Cell A3 I have =if(sheet1!A3=”A”,1,0)and so on down the page. When Zapier creates a new sheet those cell references automatically move. So now when Zap creates new row 3 in sheet 1 that formula in sheet 2 A3 automatically switches to referencing A4. (Or for some formulas it just breaks and gives you a #ref).I could used fixed references ($) but that would prevent me from copying the formulas down the thousands of rows.The only solution I can find to keep the references pointed to the right place and not move is to copy all of sheet 1 using importrange. The problem is it makes the sheet very slow. Any better
Hi there everyone! I can’t figure this out for the life of me. How would one go about adding a filter that doesn’t allow any data with letters/words (and bonus for special characters) to pass? For context, the form feeding this collects phone numbers and I want to make sure not to pass data that includes letters in it. Note if you have a solution that includes filtering out special characters, we would have to make the exception for “+” because of the country codes. Example: Data from form is: "+1-123-443e" Zapier filters catches this because "e" is in it Appreciate any help, thanks!
I am trying to upload unique SKU’s from a google sheet into Shopify. These SKU’s already preexist in Shopify store a product. I am able to bring the products individually (line items) into Shopify, however, they are coming in as a “new” product and not coming into Shopify as a pre-existing product with same product name/title which is already in Shopify I am using Utility function to convert “Text To Line-Item” And then taking output from Utility app into Shopify webstore This is the output in Shopify web store. It is coming as a “new” Product instead of linking to an already preexisting product with the below product name/title

So I have a custom object in Salesforce the trigger pulls it when it’s created, but there’s a processing time on some important fields. So the data comes over with those fields values as “False”. I’ve had a field called “Form process” - that get’s changed to “processed” when it has been processed. I’m trying to figure out how to re-grab the data after an hour delay. Ideas?
Thanks in advance for sharing the wisdom. I have a lovely zap that uses a person’s name, email and cell to generate a customlink to book an appoitnment in OnceHub. Due to OnceHub’s update, the link can no longer include normal phone number data, but instead just needs to be a string of digits. Fine.I created a Value field in Airtable that extracts that number. But now I need to update about 18,000 links for records where such a link is already created. I wrote a zap that will generate an updated link (LINK2 we’ll call it), in a view with a checkbox checked off. Now I have a manual way of checking off a box, which populates a view and triggers a zap that creates LINK2. That said, I wonder if there is an easier way than clicking on 18,000 checkboxes.
I am trying to add emails from a specific calendly appointment type into a specific segment in my flodesk but when I set the zap up, it’s not showing the different types of appointments in calendly. its only giving me the option “invitee created” and “invitee cancelled” but is not letting me choose which appointment type. Is this possible?
I wonder if the following is possible.I want a webhook for a alert, then it needs to store the value of the webhook to true. If the second webhook is also triggered then it should check if the value of webhook 1 is setted to true. If so then it should set trigger a one new webhook to a outgoing service.
Dear Zapier Community,I am trying to automate the automatic association of a contact to a created deal. What I have done is create two sales pipelines for which I have automatically created Deals via the Zapier integration from contacts that came in via a Hubspot form the past weeks (so existing contacts in Hubspot). The creation of these deals from the contacts (based on a contact property change) worked. But I now have the problem that none of my contacts are associated with my created deals. For context, my business does not operate with other businesses/companies but with private individuals, therefore the deal name is equal to the contacts first and last name. I have tried many versions through zapier but the issue seems to be that the automatic association from a contact to a deal cannot be resolved through the zapier options. Any idea how I can automatically assign my contacts to the created deals so I do not have to do this manually each time? Or if I may be missing an importan
Spinning my wheels with support on this one. I’m getting 403 error when trying to connect to an Amazon SQS instance with Zapier, however I can successfully connect to the queue with Python and boto3.I don’t have access to the AWS instance as the queue is auto-generated and embedded in software I’m using, so I can’t see the permissions and SQS setup.So I’m stuck, with the application developers saying it works as I can connect to it with boto3 and Zapier support saying check my AWS settings, which I can’t access as it’s not my AWS instance…Anyone have any advice? If you run Zapier Amazon SQS connections, could you list you permission config so I could pass to the app developers?
Hi,I am trying to append Output 5 to the end of Output 4, while adding a delimiter of ‘||’ which is required for the data to be entered successfully. The above only seems to return the value ‘Toyfair’ and doesn’t include the Output 5, any ideas where im going wrong?Thanks,
I have downloadable content on my volcanic website which is facilitated by the form option in volcanic. I want to have the email addresses from the form go into a spreadsheet using Zapier but it doesn’t seem I can as I’m not using an app - its directly in Volcanic. Do I need a plug in or can I embed Volcanic code? Thank you for any help Elle :)

My zap pulls through fine, but I don’t seem to be given a field in ToDo that I can link to the task description in Clickup. Hi all,Very happy with Zapier and enhancing our business. But struggling with this specific topic. When a customer buys a specific product, we trigger a mail sequence. But depending on the month they get a different mail sequence. So I want to filter the purchase date and based on that date add a ‘month tag’ in Convertkit. For example a customer buys a product on the 15th of January, I trigger Convertkit to set the tag 2022 January (tags are already created in Convertkit). And when a customer buys a product on the 3rd of February, I trigger Convertkit to set a tag 2022 February. I tried the filter option in Zapier and used ‘date after’ AND ‘date before’. For example, date after is 31st of dec and date before is ‘1ste of januari’. And I used the date format Zapier recommends. The purchase date is extracted from the purchase info. But the zap is stopped using sample data. Then I tried formatting the date and then set the ‘date after’. en ‘date before’ but stil not working. So I’m try
I’m a teacher using Google classroom and it’s currently not possible to create a secure space for my TA’s to grade completed work without exposing the personal information of the other students. I was thinking about setting up a zap that sends just the students completed assignments to another Google Drive account so that my TA’s can do more of the grading. I’m buried, and it would be a big help to have them grade more of the assignments, but, again, Google classroom doesn’t provide a TA view that prevents them from seeing the personal info of other students. The idea is, basically, when an assignment due date is reached in Google classroom, I’d like to set up a zap that sends all submitted work to the TA drive. This will allow my TA’s to contribute in a secure space. It seems simple but I’m not seeing any obvious actions in Zapier that would help me accomplish this.Teacher Kuz

I have a web app and mobile app that pull from separate databases, but still need to keep up to date with each other. My web app is working from MySQL, and I am developing a Native mobile app on Adalo. I have very similar Zaps that, for instance, create a new record in Adalo if a new row is created in MySQL, and vice-versa. The issue is, when the first Zap is executed, it triggers the same Zap in the opposite direction. This will continue back-and-forth until a new row tries to be created in MySQL that is a duplicate, and will stop in Zapier because of this error (ie. user enters new record in Adalo → New row created in MySQL → Another (repeated) record created in Adalo → Error message in Zapier as we cannot duplicate this Adalo record). For my Zaps that involve creating a record in Adalo that triggers a new row in MySQL, I have tried to create a filter after the trigger, but all these filters can only read record fields in Adalo, so I am unable to look for duplicate entries in MySQL,
I am trying to pull data into a Google Sheet whenever a task is completed, but I cannot find the Team field...I have the task name, the project name, but I need the Asana Team name because that is the Client’s name. I need all of this data in my spreadsheet, but the task data that Zapier is pulling in doesn’t seem to include the Team.Any ideas on how to accomplish this?
