Hi community, we are trying to build a really simple inventory management system within a Google Sheet. Whenever a new row in another spreadsheet (“Orders”) is created, the number in a cell of another spreadsheet (“Inventory”) needs to decrease by 1. Example:I add a new order manually to the spreadsheet “Orders” The according number in the spreadsheet “Inventory” for the product goes from 5 to 4 Any tips how to achieve this workflow? Thanks, Chris

Running Paths with known stopped tasks

Building a system where new calendly event triggers a series of webhooks on MinbodyOnline.I’ve accomplished the below with two separate tasks but wondering if it would work as a path.Trigger: New invitee in CalendlyPath A: - POST to create a new client in MBO’s CRMPath B: - GET to find the client’s ID by their Email - POST to create a calendar event in MBO  The reason I need two separate zaps or two legs of a path is that there are times where someone is already created in MBO and if I try to “re-create” them, it will error out.If I get the error in Path A, will it continue to Path B or stop the workflow?

I’m trying to tag new purchases from Paypal from a specific course into Convertkit. I originally set it up with a line item from Paypal. No tag in Convertkit.Then I set up all sales in Paypal. No tag in Convertkit.Now I am trying to set it up with a Successful Sale in Paypal with a Line Item Filter and get errors. I can’t seem to figure out why it’s not tagging.  Anyone have advice?

Xero tax invoice issues

Has anyone setup Zaps between Xero and Stripe/PayPal that issue the right (tax) invoice upon successful payment?We take payment plans for my online course, and have worked out how to create a zap from Stripe/PayPal to Xero (so that our accounting isn't messed up)... BUT GST is an issue.I charge Aussies GST and nobody else. Yet half my students are American/Canadian.Do you just set all the invoices to draft and then fix this manually?Do you charge everybody GST? (I'll be honest, I'm tired of paying the government more than I need to)What is the solution? Is there a special code to put in the zap?Please don't say "Ask your accountant"! We have a fab accountant, who sent me the links to understand zaps - but this is a question which has come up today (Sunday) when my course doors open Monday morning!

Creating a Zap TESS CRM

I have a CRM that I use for my travel agency TESS. I would like to create a Zap that what I add a client to the CRM, the first name and email is sent to Flodesk. If that sounds too complicated, I would like to at least be able to automate the download of the CSV file and Upload to Flodesk. I am trying to avoid having to hire someone to do this for me. Any ideas?

Wordpress zap can't find posts

HI,I need to find a post with a dynamic tag extracted from a google sheet. Choosing the “Find Post” zap it returns one required filed “customize post” field (odd ...). When I enter the post ID it returns a “couldn’t find search terms” If I enter the post name it returns an error : “WordPress ran into an issue. Error code 404: Invalid post ID.“Is it a bug or am I missing something?Thanks,Alex

Using Custom Object as line items instead “Product” when creating QB Invoice

Hello everyone, I searched all the threads and was surprised no one has came across the same situation I have.  Our company does not use the “product” standard object in Salesforce, rather, we use a custom object called “Packages”. Now I have successfully created the steps to add a customer, and create an invoice, the one MAJOR issue I’ve encountered is with Line Items. Since products are typically mapped to “Line Items” in Quickbooks, I would like to transform and map my custom object as  the line item(s). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone has a zap they can share? HELP PLEASE!  Thanks in advance! Mara

Mail Parser Logic - If I have full control over the originating email, I should be able to always parse out the correct data right?

I have complete control over an email that I am trying to parse but I can not get the fields to strip out correctly consistently.  I’ve tried all 3 combinations of the parser engine as well as the text and html layouts.  I have all of the data in an HTML table in the format that I’ve attached as an image. Everything is on different lines and I’ve used : to separate out the title from the variable and included the space html after.  It gets it most of the time and I’ve trained so so so so so many extra templates with data entry variations but yet it still messes up.  I tried reaching out to Zapier support to get some sort of indication of what the parser looks for but I got nothing.  It seems that if I could put in <div id=”variable1”> tags or something to wrap my exact variables, I should be able to get this very easily.  I just don’t know what to wrap them in or how to design / code my email.    Can anyone help me out?  I’ve spent more hours than I can count on this and when I f

How to get updated data via API polling delay or POST "Catch Hook"?

We are using a third-party API. We have a Zap that polls as the trigger on a new record. The problem that we have is that the user is still completing data entry so the trigger fires too early.What we would like to do with a Zap is this:TRIGGER (poll - on a new record, some user data is available here)DELAY (wait 3 minutes)FETCH all the complete user dataACTIONI don’t know what Zapier function I need to Fetch the complete user data from the same record. API Key? Where to find / using with Insightly

Hello,I am tryiing to connect insightly with mailchimp through zapier. The first thing that I was prompted to do was to log onto insightly. When I tried to do so, I was told to enter my API key that could be found in my settings. There was no such key in my account info in my account settings, where I was told to look, and I have not been able to find any information on this topic. Does anybody know how I can move forward? (I should note that I am not even aware what an “API Key” even is...)Thank you very much, A confused user of Zapier :)

Excel trigger to use all rows

Hi!I’m still pretty green with Zapier - I’m trying to make a Zap that will send an email to a list of people, with customized fields, on a specific date in the future. Currently I have it set up with the trigger being “New Row in Excel” but I’m not sure that’s right, since all the rows I want to use will already exist when I turn on the Zap. I was thinking “Find Row in Excel” might work, but how do I tell it to use all the rows? I have a filter set up so that the email doesn’t send until I want it to.Here are some screen shots of what I’ve got so far. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Has anyone found replacements for Google Cloud Print?

My organization uses Google Cloud Print for some fundamental parts of our workflow, and seeing as it will be ending at the end of the year we’re trying to find some solutions. Has anyone found another service that can integrate with Zapier? I imagine it might require some chaining of email + software on a desktop computer locally, which would work fine for us. Thanks for any help you can give.

Keller Williams Command Set Up

Hello,I’m trying to link my Facebook Leads to my Keller Williams Command. In setting up the Zap, it is asking me to choose a Team, which is a required field. I am not part of a Team at my Brokerage. However, a Team is auto-populating in the drop down menu. I obviously don’t want to send my Leads to someone else if this is a glitch. I have attached a screen shot of the Team that is popping up. Is this Team a Default option, or should I input something else as an Individual Agent? Thanks!
