Why is Salesforce returning an error for duplicate contact records?

I have a zap that pull info from a form on a Front end that customers have to Enter information about the Account then the contacts to put under that account. The zap will pull the fields entered and find an account in that name or create one if the fields entered are unique. Then Contact fields are entered bellow to put into the account. There are 3 types of contact: A, B, and C (the contact types are decided by a picklist field in Contact object). So the Form has A contact info: first, last, email, phone, title. B has First, last, email, phone, title. C has First, last, email, phone, title, identification number. The problem arises when One person can be both contact type A and B OR A and C and so on (same first, last, etc...) . Zapier returns an error for duplication contact records, and only contact type A in any case will be successfully entered into Salesforce. It seems like contact Type A is in good condition to be entered since it is the first on the Zap, the other ones are und

Why won't the phone number, City, and State zip pull through when parsing the email?

I’m trying to pipe leads into a lead management system that get delivered via email BUT I’ve tried to set up inbox after inbox with email parser by zapier and the data just doesn’t seem to want to come through properly. The phone number one piece that doesn’t want to seem to pull through properly as well as the city, state zip. I’m not an expert but it seems to be pretty basic task. I’ve tested with a trial on mailparser and it seems to pick it up easily. The only issue here is that the cost will be inhibiting due to the volume that we will be running. I’ve read through resources here in the community and I think it might be possible to do this with Javascript code but I don’t even know what that means. I’ve searched for experts but can’t find one that seems to have this sort of thing as a specialty but still have reached out to a couple. Any advice?

Klaviyo error: Failed to create an event in Klaviyo, required field "email address" (email) is missing.

I am trying to get the data from the booking system I work with to Klaviyo (CRM). The metrics I am trying to get an insight into are : booked class, bought credits and account created. I am getting stuck on the email required field. I’ve tested it with my own email address, however, this results in requests all being triggered by that one email address in Klaviyo, which doesn’t provide a clear view on the data. I have then tried choosing the raw data in the email address field, however, this results in this error. Have anyone experienced this? How can this be solved? Thanks in advance, and apologies if this sounds super dumb :D I am quite new to this

Trello error: Your Gmail data can only be sent to approved apps. Unfortunately, the app you are using is no longer supported.

My trigger is adding a new label to an email and the action would create a new card in the list on my Trello board. The test runs okay but when I try to publish my Zap it says that My Gmail data can only be sent to approved apps. Unfortunately, the app you I'm using is no longer supported. Can someone help me with this one? Thanks in advance

Gumroad to Teachable Enroll not entering the course

When I’m testing out my Gumroad to Teachable Zap it says the student is enrolled in the teachable course. But the email the student is sent directed them towards the homepage of my school. Any help or further questions are welcomed!

Webflow - Zoom form "We Couldn't find a submission"

Hi there, I’m setting up a new Zap (first time user) for between Webflow and Zoom Webinars: https://zapier.com/apps/webflow/integrations/zoom. The trigger is that when a form is submitted, a new webinar registrant is submitted in Zoom. However, in the first step, we get this error message: “we couldn't find a submission. Create a submission in your webflow account and test your trigger again” However, we actually do have 3 submissions: It does seem to work with all other forms, while these forms do not differ in settings from others. Does it take time for Zapier to actually note the subscriptions? Because the form did show up in the list of forms to choose. Or could there be another problem? Hope to get your advice! KR, Gerbrand

All Zaps dont work after 1 month

Hey guys, I created a zap to unlock my online course module every 7 days and send an email. My Course takes 77 day. The first month everything worked fine, but suddenly all zaps stopped. I can not find any zap before 01.08.2022 in my Zap History. Is it normal, that a Zap can only run 1 month? If yes, is there a workaround? Best regardsDominik

"Invalid currency code error" with Square's New Order trigger

I’ve previously built zaps with Square with no issue, but now when I build one with the “New Order” event I get the error: Failed to fetch an order from Square Error while retrieving: Invalid currency codes : UNKNOWN_CURRENCY I disconnected the app from my account and re-added it, but no luck. Has anyone else experienced this?

Cannot publish Zap Your Gmail account connection is stale

After few days of my Gmail connection whenever I make a Zap and Publish it throws back an error that Cannot publish Zap Your Gmail account connection is stale Can anyone please tell us why our Gmail connection expires, what are the factors behind this error and how we can solve it permanently. We are facing the same errors for the Google Drive and Google Calendar. You little suggestion will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

My newly created leads from Salesforce won't convert into opportunities.

Hi there, I am trying to create a Zap where when a contract is signed => update salesforce. The issue is that if there is no lead, we need to create a lead and then convert that lead to an opportunity and update that same opportunity. I keep running into issues where it will create the lead but wont convert the lead data to an opportunity. If you have any help, or suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Active Campaign Opens not coming over consistently

I have a ZAP that is suppose to trigger when a campaign in Active Campaign is opened. It was working perfectly before August 1st...but now only about 1/3 of them seem to be coming over. Not sure what changed. Anyone have any ideas? Is this a Zapier issue or an Active Campaigns issue?

New GSheet rows not adding data in correctly to Calendar

Hi Am trying to get my Zap working - and the zap test does what I need it to do (takes the first row of my GSheet and creates a calendar entry in the correct date and time), but If I add a new row (and zap is set to new or updated rows), it doesn’t put the fields in the right place - and my date/time becomes my description - and the calendar entry is on todays date instead. But the test works perfectly… What am I missing?

ACT! Error: We hit an error adding your new account. Authentication failed: The app returned “An error has occurred”

This post has been edited by a moderator to remove personal information. Please remember that this is a public forum and to remove any sensitive information prior to posting. I am getting errors/issues connecting ACT! To Zapier. I have tried many different settings and credentials to connect IE: default database or the other 2. None work. No popups come up and my account is admin with full permission. I can login to ACT! just fine in my.act.com. I did create Zaps for my old act account a couple years ago and the zaps in there are for that. I did delete the old ACT! connection. Trying to connect ACT! to salesmate and will also need to connect ACT! to gravity forms. Attached some screen shots.

Can't get my zap to find a post in wordpress

I am trying to set up a zap to post my blog articles to social media when a new blog is published. I have done it two other times for other websites no problem, but can’t seem to get it to fetch a new post. There are plenty of blog posts in there, and I even published a brand new one so it had something new to fetch. Please help.

We had a handful of Zaps that Zapier claims ran successfully, but the target claimed that the data never made it into their system. Is there a way to re-run a Zap that is already flagged as Completed?

Post new photos from discord to twitter

I am trying to setup a Zap that will tweet any new photos posted in one of my discord channels. Setup: Trigger - Discord - new message posted to channel Action - Twitter - create tweet - message & attachments I then test by sending a photo to the channel and nothing happens. I have tried replacing attachments with, content, embeds, and attachment URL. nothing i try will work when a photo is posted.

Can I include an image that I have tweeted in a POST to a Discord Channel?

Hi, I’ve been able to create Zaps that are successfully POSTing the text in my Tweets to an ‘announcements’ channel on my Discord server which in itself is great. But, my tweets also include images or GIFs. I only do one image a tweet but it’s like a flyer. Is there a way for me to include the attached image in a Tweet in what get’s posted to Discord? I’ve been testing various options in the ‘Set up Action’ section of my zaps and tried various different things to do with Media or attachments in the ‘Insert data’ options of the Message Text box but to no avail. All that happens in Discord when I test the Zaps is that I get my Tweet text and then a URL which I presume could be the URL of the GIF I’m trying to display beneath my text in Discord. Duplicate value in a Google Sheet when the value sent to Zapier is empty

Hi, My problem is quite simple but I can’t solve it! Hope anyone can help me. i connected leadpages → zapier → google sheet. The problem is: when one of my customers leave a field of my form empty, in google sheet I find the value of the previous customer duplicated. Here is a screenshot (in italian but you can see the problem): Just the second wrote the sentence “Di pomeriggi verso le 14:00 Grazie”. The others were fields that the customers left empty but I find duplicated in Google Sheet. Anyone can help?

400 Error

Hey community, I want to connect WebinarJam with KlickTipp. I did this connection many times because we do monthly webinars. I set the the zeps up and in the final test zapier is showing a 400 error. I machted the connection with my old ones that worked in the last month and they were the same. Than I made a test on an old connetion wich worked and I got the 400 error again. Is somethind with zapier? Can someone pls help me
