While using Zapier, I've noticed that a ZAP is not always reliably triggered when new data is added. It seems that the triggering of the ZAP is inconsistent and may depend on various factors, such as the timing or a specific email in a field of the table. Even when I create a copy of the data record, the ZAP is not always activated, although doing so seems to increase the likelihood of it being triggered. I'm looking for a reliable solution where adding a new data record consistently triggers the ZAP. Can you assist me with this?
I am trying to send loan engagement documents. When a Jotform is submitted it triggers to send the client a DocuSign template.The template has a signing order, the client, and then the broker. Typically if done manually, the DocuSign would go to the client for signing and then back to the broker to finalise their part.The zap is set up with the recipient as the client, when the client completes their part, it skips the broker and goes straight to complete and the DocuSign is missing the broker details. It seems to completely disregard the signing order/ Zapier does not allow for the broker's details to account for the signing order.Any suggestions?
I am linking a form from ConvertCalculator to Salesforce using Zapier. In the form, users are asked to upload files, which I need to have attached to the object the Zap creates (A Case object in salesforce). When I test this step, I am able to set up the zap correctly, but found this error. Can someone advise on why this may be? I presume it might be the salesforce side - is there a way to grant this access that anyone else has found? Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone.I wanted to setup Zap so that anytime a file is uploaded in a specific Google Drive folder a Todo in a Basecamp is created.Seems a pretty straightforward thing to do and tests pass and that initial todo is created but when I upload file in my Google Drive nothing happens. Even if I run it manually, it just says that it didn’t find new files.I thought that it might be because of a dynamic name I wanted to create, so I used just a default name, “New Todo”, and it still doesn’t work.Any help is appreciated.
I have a zap that imports a CSV file from Google Drive, loops through the csv file and inserts rows into Smartsheet. I have tried to add a step to move the file to an archive folder in Google Drive. When I try to test the step I get the error: Failed to create a move file in Google Drive'NoneType' object has no attribute 'get' The file is specified as 1.File: (exists but not shown) from the initial step New File in Google Drive. The Zap I am working on is “Import Staff Data From Workday” Any ideas would be appreciated, I have tried everything that I can think of… Thanks!

A Zap error when creating product details based on Glide app submissions, encountering a 'no such product' issue
Hey Guys, Hope you are all doing great. I’ve hit a bum in the road whilst doing some work for a client and would be great to hear you if you can help. So, Im creating a directory in Glide apps. When a new user comes onto the app and creates a listing they fill out this form : They enter theirProduct Name Product Description Image PriceOnce they submit this form this zap runs : The idea is that the values from Glide will set the details for the product, this will then trigger another action that creates the price for that product. However it Keeps saying in the Zap history it stopped because it theres no such product as - “Whatever the product name is”. So I put a delay of 1 minute incase it takes some time to create but hit the same error. Would be great if someone could help out! Regards Mitch Francis
@Troy Tessalone Hi Troy, I am trying to create a Clio zap. This is the first part and I eventually hope to connect it will Tasks by Planner (Kanban).The purpose of this zap is to update a Clio Custom Field (Custom Field is called Matter Status) once a task in Clio is marked complete (Task is called Client Intake Completion).The issue I’m also having with Step 4 is that in the Action Section of the Zap it is asking to specify all the Required Custom fields (which corresponds to our Required Custom Field rules in Clio) but I want this Zap to apply to any matter with this task. Hello Guys,When I try to connect outlook with Zapier I got a error saying that I need admin approval,As I am admin I inserted my admin credentials and prompt a message to consent all permissions (I did it)In azure AD (enterprise application) I already “Grant admin consent”After all that consents and grants when I try to connect with my “normal” account I still got that message saying I “need admin consent” To be honest I do not know what should I do moreAnyone Can help me? I have an Asana Project that has multiple tasks under different sections. I set up my zapier as normal (after having connected my Asana account to my Zapier account). No matter what I do, I cannot get the zapier to find the tasks in the asana. I will add more tasks, I will mark tasks as complete, I will modify tasks - but still nothing. How do I get Zapier to “see” the tasks in my sections of my project?

Howdy folks, I’m a little confused. Set up everything so that when a review comes in for a client it Zaps to ChatGPT for a reply. Test was successful and everything says it’s running, but when I tested myself nothing happens. My first question for a human is:If this automation is working, shouldn’t I be able to see the conversation within ChatGPT? Second: Any idea why it might night be showing up? I have my Zapier setup that everyone who calls or messages me on open phone gets added to my OpenPhone Contacts. I made sure to setup the unique ID on the Action Part however whenever a person messages/calls me, instead of updating their existing number/contact - it creates a completely new contact entry on openphone instead. TL;DR Openphone creates a new contact everytime irregardless if a unique ID has been filled in.
Find Event in AddEvent - The zap triggers with new or updated spreadsheet row in Google sheets and should update an event or create a new one where an event doesn't already exist.BUT I'm having some difficulty with duplicate events being created- the find Event in AddEvent step doesn't seem to be working(I have this working sweetly in a similar zap for Google Calendar - but for Addevent it isn't the same set up)To get this to work for the Google calendar I created an internal event ID which I output into the event description so that this would stay with the event even if other fields (like the event name) changed - this seems to work and then you are able to use the output of this 'find step' as the search term. I created a zap to automatically create a detailed Google calendar event based on new row is filled out on my Google Sheet. Everything runs smoothly when I test a row, but after publishing the zap and filling out a row on my sheet, a Google Calendar event is not created. Can someone help me with this? Hi all,I have a zap set up to create a new deal in Hubspot when a new row is created in Smartsheet. The final step in the zap pushes the Hubspot ID back into the Smartsheet row so it can be called upon when a separate zap runs to update the Hubspot deal when an update is made to the row in Smartsheet.I have a problem though. Sometimes the zap runs before smartsheet has had chance to populate lookup fields required to flesh out the Deal. And sometimes it runs before Smartsheet has had chance to create a valid row ID. This means sometimes the zap doesn’t run at all or mostly, I get two new deals created in Hubspot. One with various details missing and a ‘duplicate’ deal, albeit one which contains all the data I need and can be updated with the Update Row-Update Deal zap. Delaying the zap has no effect as the delay does not (re) call Smartsheet for the missing details once the time is up, it just proceeds with what has already been delivered. I am contemplating setting up some python code

I am trying to set up a Zap for when a Jotform (trigger) is completed an Jotform to complete is then sent to a persons email (action). I am receiving an error stating "Failed to create an assign form in Jotform. The app returned "Please re-connect to your Jotform account".My Jotform is linked in the trigger (green check mark showing successful) and it has even pulled over a test submission. When I recheck all my fields everything is set up correctly. I am unsure why am receiving this error. Pics provided.

I set up a zap to create a MS TODO task whenever an e-mail in my gmail account is starred. All works well, except the only two lists I can create the task in are the default list and some random shared list someone shared with me. I can’t choose any of my other TODO lists in the zap (they don’t show up as options when I set up the zap).Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
