I am having the same issue with Google Tasks
Hi
I am so sorry for the very late response here. Have you managed to sort things out? If not, please let me know if you’re still running into the same issue.
I’d be happy to help troubleshoot further.
Hi
It's awesome news to hear that your authentication issue has been resolved!
Now about the problem with loading your projects - could you confirm if this is happening with Google Tasks or is it another app?
Just to shed a bit of light on the situation, sometimes, if you have many projects in your app, the Zap Editor can struggle a bit with loading all of them simultaneously - a phenomenon we refer to as a pagination issue. A pretty straightforward fix to this is usually to provide the Project ID as a custom value in the "Project" field.
Please keep me posted!
same problem for me. No matter how many times I reauthenticate we google account or delete and start over, I get the “The Auth is expired. Please reconnect here.” error on the Google Tasks zap
Hi
I did some digging into this, and it seems like you might be running into some throttling issues with Google Tasks. Normally, this indicates that your Google Tasks account is sending a large number of API calls. Can you tell me if you've integrated your Google Tasks account with any other service and give me an idea of the usage outside of Zapier?
This will help me troubleshoot your issue, so thank you in advance for your help.
I am hitting this throttling
Hi
If you’re hitting a quota limit in Google Task it looks like you can request a higher quota limit from Google directly. You can learn more about that here: https://cloud.google.com/docs/quotas/view-manage#managing_your_quota_console
Hopefully, this helps!
It would help if you would list the exact API name to increase request for
in addition i dont think im using my own api keys here. Isn’t the quota coming from your zapier company account instead?
Hi
Zapier typically uses its API keys for integrations, not personal ones, though some apps may require you to input your keys. If you're hitting a request limit, it's usually set by the app itself, not Zapier, so you'd need to contact the app's support to increase it.
I hope this clarifies things for you. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
@jammers
Then your service should also list in the errors which billing accounts (within the connected account’s google cloud account) I would need to request limits for. As matter of fact, my accounts do not actually have those apis enabled in my cloud.google account.. and there is zero usage history there..
Please gather for us if you are actually using an API key from cloud.google, and or how to identify the organization/projectId of they key you used, because I did not input them but would need the right one to request increases for.
Hi
Suppose you're facing Google Cloud API limits while using Zapier. In that case, it's likely because Zapier uses OAuth—not your API keys—to connect to your Google account, making API calls on your behalf. Even if an API isn't enabled in your Google Cloud dashboard, Zapier may still trigger calls if a Zap requires it, which can explain why you're seeing usage issues despite no visible activity in your account. Please contact our Zapier support for additional clarification with the problem.
