Hi 👋 Long time listener, first time caller. I am trying to follow the steps laid out in two threads: However I am running into trouble. CONTEXT: I have a bot that posts a message in a slack channel when a support ticket is created. The thread of this post is often used to troubleshoot the issue between our support team and the client. GOAL: The problem I am trying to solve, is alerting their team and ours when a ticket is closed. Ideally, I would like to find the thread of the original post and for a bot to reply “this ticket has now been closed” PROBLEM: In the above examples, I don’t see where the user has entered Channel ID: or how this relates to the OG thread. Hoping someone can help me 🤞
I would like to use Zapier for sending text from an Airtable table to Deepl and get the translated text back.Does anybody have any experience? Is possible to do that? Deepl have an API, I think is possible to connect the two things, but I am not an exper of APIMany thanks in advance.
Hello, Because of my messiness, I ended up creating 3 different Zapier accounts with each having between 3 and 6 Zaps. I have decided to get a Professional plan and put all my Zaps in one account. Is there a way of merging the accounts or even transferring all the Zaps to one?
This is what I want to do: Trigger: when an email in Gmail is labelled with a specific label Action: Create a PDF (or screenshot) of the body of that email Action: The PDF/screenshot is saved in a folder in Google Drive The emails in question often have graphics or information displayed in tables, so the PDF needs look exactly like the email. There isn’t a huge volume of emails per month (maybe about 10 emails/month) so I don’t wish to use an expensive paid subscription service or to switch to a paid version of Gmail. I’ve tried using services like Docamatic and HTML/CSS to Image API - in test mode they worked *perfectly* but when I tried to publish the zap, I get this frustrating error message: Gmail has some additional requirementsYour Gmail data can only be sent to approved apps.Unfortunately, the app you are using is no longer supported.You'll need to edit your Zap to turn it back on. Is there any workaround or some other way to accomplish what I’m trying to do?
Im having an Issue when I try to attach a Google Doc to a task in asana. This is my task, In a step before I created this doc from a template But the result is an attachment with a .txt, not a reference to the google drive doc Can some one Help me please? I have a question about zapping from an Instagram post to a LinkedIn post update (not a business page).It works as expected for an image, but when I post a video, the thumbnail is black. See the action and post on LinkdedIn below. Am I missing something? Any help appreciated.

Dear you all,I love what Zapier can do, but this I Cann't work out. Through youcanbook.me people make an appointment with me. I made a Zap so that when somebody makes a new appointment a 'google presentation is made . It extracts some data, so that the presentation is actually an invoice. The presentation is saved in google drive with the persons name and date the appointment takes place. Once the date has arrived, I have to manually go to google drive, download the presentation as a pdf. I then automated the next task with Hazel: since the pdf is saved in a specific folder a new email is opened in mail (Mac) . I have to fill in the email address from the recipient and voila, they get a pdf with a personalised invoice.What I would love te have happen is that once a booking has ended automatically this email with invoice is send to the recipient. Hi, I've already sent an email to the support but maybe I'm missing something.I've a Zap that is triggered for any update on a Order in Booqable integration. And at the beginning (first step) is a filter that let continue or not. What I'm seeing is that the trigger or the filter (not passing) is counting as task against my monthly quota.Here is my Zap as my first step (after the trigger that is NOT counted like is mentioned here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8495906379405-How-are-tasks-counted-in-filters-Here is the beginning of the Zap: Here is my Zaps Runs History: You can see that the "Delete Venda (Sale) no CA" has almost all the 2K tasks counts. But 99,99% of those don't pass the first filter and it's stopped. Either way is counting as tasks against my quota and should not.Am I missing something?Regards,
Hello,We’d like to use information stored in Docusign envelope custom fields in our Zaps. Is this possible? The use cases are:Adding a filter to run the Zap if the envelope type (stored in a Docusign envelope custom field) is ‘support contract’. Sending information stored within the envelope custom field to a Google Sheet along with other information from the envelope that Zapier already captures (‘Recipents Signers Name’, etc). Appreciate any insight folks might be able to provide. Thank you!
I have a zap that based on a Zoho CRM lead update with a filter that a specific field needs to have a certain value to send out a text message. However, I am always getting 2 records into Zapier and then of course it sends out to text message. My flowTrigger: Update Module Entry for LeadsFilter Field SMA Day 0 15 min = 15 minsSend SMS It appears that zoho sends 2 records for the SMA Day 0 15 mins being updated and for the last activity filed being updated as they are sent at the exact some time. Is there a way to tell zapier to only send one of the records through the process?
I created a zap to add an additional attendee to every new Google Calendar event. The zap worked fine. Unfortunately, the zap used > 1,000 tasks per day. I ran out of tasks now and I need to pay to upgrade to a better plan :( Before I do so, I would like some help to figure out why it used so many tasks. I have certainly not added thousands of new events to the calendar.The trigger is “New or Updated Event in Google Calendar.” The action is “Add Attendee/s to Event in Google Calendar.” In the “Set up Action” section I selected the same calendar as in the one in trigger. For the “Event” field I selected “Custom” then I selected “1. ID 099rjt4hrulvb0pa2o700kutk.” I was particularly puzzled by the 099rjt4hrulvb0pa2o700kutk string as it looked as if it would be a specific event. That said, the zap worked, so I think that part might be ok. Can someone helped me figure out how to prevent this zap from hogging resources?
Hello, I am trying to create a zap that will locate the users email using the id of the user contained in the record from the trigger. I have added the index on rule to my database, although I do not think it is necessary to just get a simple value. My data is like this: Users (User id) name: example email: example In the step in my zap, I have defined the path as "users" In the next feild, I have selected the user id as the inject from the trigger Now all I need to do is enter the search value. Hi all,I have the following flow set up to create a new Slack channel for each new client, then search for a launch announcement, after which it sends copy of that launch message to finance:I create a calendar event with a new client This triggers the creation of the client’s slack channel (i.e. the Slack channel changes every time) After delaying for a certain period, Zapier searches for the ‘live’ keyword within the client’s slack channel If found, this sends a Slack message with the text containing ‘live’ to a specific user. If not found, how do I get it to retry at specific intervals (e.g. daily) until the ‘live’ keyword appears on the channel?Thanks in advance!
I’ve tried for 5 hours to figure out how to syncronize my Webflow form to Mailchimp through Zapier.Right now it pulls the right name, e-mail and description, but it isn’t pulling the selected checkboxes right, it pulls all of groups instead of pulling 1,2 or 3 (the selected ones) Please help me, I’m losing it soon. For example, if there are 3 lines in sheet, each card is created identically in 3 times). However, I want the same card to be created only once.Do you know what the problem is?Kind regards,

I want to automatically update custom fields and their documentation uses PHP scripts as an example, for which I don´t have any experience. Trying to set up a simple connection between Emma and Google Sheets, but keep running into the following errors… My goal is to create a flow from Emma to Google Sheets when a New Subscriber signs up or/and when an Existing Member is Updated. I have done a setup like this with Active Campaign, and it literally takes a couple minutes with zero issues. I have been working on this for a couple hours. I am getting a ton of error messages like the ones below, along with 504 Error Messages. Would appreciate any insight or help anyone can give.
Hi guys! Very new to Zapier but I run a company where we need to collect a lot of receipts and other misc docs from employees that live in other cities that we don’t interface with often. There is a language barrier so we thought texting a receipt to a gmail account where it automatically transfers the doc to the company’s shared OneDrive would be ideal. In testing it, it seems to work great in terms of getting the picture to onedrive, but ideally we would love to know who sent the document without having to log into gmail. If I select customize file - attachment (exists but not shown) and leave the next field file name only blank - I have no issue with getting the file in the folder. It just renames to whatever the pic name is within their phone. If I select File Name - From Email, it doesn’t save the picture, it just saves the contact info as a MS-DOS application that won’t even open on my PC. Any advice on how to work around this would be so very appreciated!Thanks,Sarah
Hi Y'all,Right now, Elliot is generating an automated email that is Elliot specific, but I want to send a 2nd email with it that is specific to the business to help avoid any confusion to the businesses logging in.I'd like to trigger the email, once the Elliot email is sent. Is there a way to do this?
