I have set up a Zap that takes an Asana task that is marked as complete and sends an email (Gmail) with specific information from that completed task. It’s all working fine but I can not for the life of me figure out how to get the file that’s been uploaded to the Asana task to add to the email that goes out. The file is PDF but when the email goes out it’s attaching the file as a .txt Is there a way to get the actual PDF file into the email? Thanks in advance - amber
I have a Zap that takes order info from Woocommerce and collates it into a quote, using a loop for multiple line items. However, certain products may or may not have that data listed:‘Hidden HTML’ and ‘Configuration’ are only available for certain store productsWill Zaps run without issue with this warning, or do I need to automate their removal somehow? Do I need to sanitize the inputs using a code step?Thanks!
I’m trying to get a list of attendees on google calendar but have it not include the organizer. Problem is Atteendees doesn’t include organizer name, but the email addresses does, so my export is off by one field. For example it’s attributing to get the organizers email to the first attendees name. Advice?
I’m trying to create a Zap that will update our CRM logging an interaction with a contact, any time a specific email inbox in BCC’d. It works whenever there is a single recipient on the TO line, but it breaks when there are multiple recipients on the TO line, like spouses. What Works: if INBOX receives email it searches CRM for match of first name, last name, email. If match doesn’t exist it creates it. Then it logs an interaction with the FNAME, LNAME, EMAIL matching record with the email body in notes. Sometimes I email 2 people at the same time like spouses. I’d like the CRM to find and update BOTH matches with the same email. Is this possible? I tried the same thing using CALENDAR and CRM. But if there are multiple attendees on the calendar I have same problem.Is there a way to tell the CRM to look for ANY matches in the EMAIL TO, and run the UPDATE on Interactions against EACH found match?
Hi there, Just started learning zapier and spend 4 hours solving the problem I explained in the title.Briefly,I have a spreadsheet collecting data from emails(name,email,when was email sent and the message itself). I wanted to create a small database creating another spreadsheet and copying UNIQUE e-mails from the first spreadsheet. I did not find the answer,so I tried different options. My logic was Create Spreadsheet Row → LookUp Spreadsheet(the one with existing data,for the data I need) ->Create A new Spreadsheet Row. The correct one is to use lookup spreadsheet row function for the blank spreadsheet. But what is the logic behind it? How should I know that I have to put the blank spreadsheet in the spreadsheet field? And how should I know if it is going to copy UNIQUE data? Are there any guides on this? It is some twisted logic as if I am asking someone to look for some stuff from two boxes,one of them is full and the other one is empty. They come up to the boxes and start sear
I’ve been able to find/create Zaps for blanket paid orders in Shopify to enrolling customers in a Learndash course. However, I cannot figure out how to create a Zap for where when a specific product is ordered that will then trigger the customer to be enrolled in a specific Learndash course. For instance, if a customer buys the mat training from the shop, I want to create a zap for them to automatically be enrolled as a student in the mat training course on Learndash rather than all paid Shopify orders are enrolled in a learndash course as it is currently setup.
I am trying to add products to product ecommerce collection but appears this error when I try to do it:"The app returned "User is not authorized to perform this action: Cannot complete operation for the ecommerce collection [Products] with this endpoint.". Anyone knows how to solve it?
I’m on a paid plan.I’ve connected XERO and it’s working for invoices and contacts. But using the same processes as invoices and contacts, I can’t get a new purchase order to activate a zap. The test works fine.Weirdly the test doesn’t pull in the most recent purchase order though, it always pulls in the first PO I ever created, but the invoice test always pulls in the most recent. Is anyone successfully automating new PO’s from XERO in to anything? I need new purchase order details to be copied to a sheet so I can get details like amount, delivery address, delivery date, etc.
Hi,I run a platform that sells clothes, I source from different brands.These brands run Shopify stores. I created a Zap which is triggered for each order I receive.It actually makes an order in my partners' Shopify BUT it doesn't link to their products. Consequently, it doesn't decrease their stocks and makes it difficult for them to fulfill the orders. Even if I try to "Find Product By Title", I can’t make it work. I might be misusing Zapier but it's an issue.You'll find attached what I get with Zapier and what I'd like to get. In addition, I can't fill the field "Shipping" or "Delivery Method" via Zapier.The field doesn't exist.So what am I supposed to do?I sincerely hope you'll be able to help me 🙏
Dear all,I’m new to Zapier (and integration/automation). It is not and will not be my regular job.Just a guy who is trying to improve project management and teams cooperation with the help of integration/automation.Right now I’m testing integration between Excel and Wrike (project management app).The zap is: when new row in excel → create task in Wrike.I managed to do it and it worked as expected (easy enough for you guys but a leap step for me; I’m so proud haha).Next I formatted the excel sheet as a table and I think that at this point things went wrong.In any case at one point on Friday, the zap hit an error: “Required field "Title" (title) is missing.”So I was wondering if this might have something to do with the fact that I formatted the excel Worksheetas an excel Tabel.Thanks for your help,Cheers
Hey all, we’ve had multiple Copper <> Zapier integrations running for a couple of years now without fault. However in the past couple of months, one of our Zaps has started firing like crazy, causing us to go over our Zap task limit incredibly quickly. The Zap currently fires whenever an Opportunity is updated, and goes through 10 steps to update a similar database in Smartsheet. Whenever a small change is made to the Opportunity (such as stage or revenue change), it is firing Zapier at least 5 times, sometimes 15+, each a couple of seconds apart. I’ve looked through but can’t work out why this is happening — the Copper information is identical from what I can see each time. Any help?
A call gets transcribed by fireflies.ai. I want to push the transcription and other data from fireflies to the call record in Zoho CRM. I am not sure how to accomplish this. I believe that I need to have Zapier do a search in Zoho CRM to match the transcription up with the call record, but I am over my head. I have included an image of a screenshot from Zapier. Any suggestions?
I am trying to set up a zap that trigger a new file on Google Drive and upload it to youtube.I have set up the zap, i have tested it, but when it comes to run it say : Failed to get a response Error 400.I have settled the zap correctly. I have run all the tests and they work.Tested the upload and get the right return of the sample test.Any idea what i am doing wrong?
Is there any update on being able to connect multiple Vonage users through a single account? I found this old post saying it isn’t possible. This is kind of a nightmare since I need to manage 20+ user logins through a single Zapier account with no way to automate re-authorization. Tagging @Troy Tessalone since he provided the last update. Zapier can’t connect to one of my wordpress sites, hosted on wpengine. Works fine with several other sites.I have tried disabling a reactivating all relevant plugins, tried the legacy integration, tried creating a Zapier user account on the wordpress, whitelisted AWS IP ranges and a lot of other stuff.Im getting the error 500 critical error after the login prompt and never pops up anything about permissions.Can anyone relate or suggest something?
How can I view a Zap's full content without overwriting others' drafts when reviewing a colleague's work?
Hi, I'm doing a review of a Zap written by another colleague, but I don't see any place where I can view the full content unless I click the edit button, but this triggers draft and seems to overwrite others’ draft, how can I avoid this?
Hi. I had web hooks firing on an order confirmation page in Squarespace in order to direct user data to Mailchimp. Since Squarespace changed the order confirmation page to a new Order status page, I migrated the code but the zaps no longer fire. I can see them in the code, there’s no obvious reason they would no longer fire but, nothing. Does anyone have any insight as to how to trouble shoot this?

With Google Sheets I could pump data into a "database" table in a “database” sheet, and then in other sheets run analytics on that data. With excel, if I have the excel file open, then zapier cannot access it at all. This means that zapier is completely useless with excel - if all I can do is create a database that cannot be used, well, then it’s useless. How do you work around this? I need to be able to work on other sheets in my excel workbook while zapier is pumping in data. Thanks
Hi,Im building a simple Zap that takes an email, calls a number and reads the text out from the email.What I am finding is that the text being read back to the called person is very quick, I wondered if there was a way to slow it down or crease a pause before moving onto the next sentence for example.Ive tried just adding a number of spaces but that doesnt work.Thanks
I have a Zap with the following flow: User fills out elementor form Webhook gets user data User data goes to third party API and generates a text result Text result is emailed to userI want a third action between third party API and email, that displays that text result on the success page after submission of the form.My limited knowledge tells me this needs to be a POST webhook to the success page (which includes a request param on a text editor), but also needs to include some kind of delay in page load, so that the page doesn’t load until the result is there. Has anyone tried too do something like this in the past, and if so, can you offer some guidance please.
I’m trying to create a zap that will once each week, email details of deals happening in the next 7 days, based on the “Event Date” which is a custom field. Here is what I have so far: The trigger is a date/time trigger. Set to run on Monday at 10am. I’m then trying to get the results of a filter that has been created within pipedrive which shows all of the deals for the week. It does not seem that I can do this. I can not use the deal matching filter trigger because I need the zap to only run on Monday and the way that trigger works, each deal would be trigger when it was 7 days out. Any thoughts or direction to send me in? Thanks in advance. (As I’m writing this, I just thought that maybe I COULD use the deal matching filter trigger and then just use a delay to send all of the emails at the same time on Monday)
Hello, Bit of a complicated problem here. I work at an advertising company that manages a lot of campaigns.The Problem:We want to know when campaigns go live so we can tell the client. The problem is that it’s a time suck to sit and wait around for a couple hours checking in to see if a campaign is live or not.How I’ve Started To Solve The Problem:I get an automated email every hour on the hour. The email contains a standard CSV with all placements and number of impressions each placement has received.Is there a way for me to have Zapier recognize when the standard CSV (1) adds a new line item, and (2) that line item has more than 100 impressions attached to it? I think digests might accomplish what I’m trying to do but I can’t make it work in my head. Another solution I can think of would involve setting up a Google Sheet where I have one Zap that adds line items to the Google Sheet if they don’t exist already, and sending out a Slack message whenever it adds a line item to that Googl
