Identifying Paypal Recurring Payments

We are using Zapier to push conversions to Google Analytics, Facebook and Marketo when a successful recurring purchase occurs. However, we only want to send this conversion on the first successful payment, not everytime thereafter. I can’t seem to find a Paypal field that indicates that a successful payment was not initiated manually by the user but automatically by Paypal. Any ideas how this could be accomplished?

Hi @jpmuofu ,

Thanks for reaching out- happy to help!

You should be able to filter these payments out, meaning they will only move through the Zap if they meet certain criteria.

To help us determine what filter set up may work best, could you share a screenshot of your configuration (with any personal information obscured!) and we can go from there?

Will be on the lookout for your response!
