I am a very new user and needed a simple zap. I have a google document that adds a contact anytime an certain email is sent. This is a zap and works great. I also want another zap to add that row to my GOOGLE CONTACTS. I have this zap working great but cannot get the new contacts in a group...the gmail contact field “group membership” does not show up as an option in my zap fields. I tried adding a custom field but it does not work. How can I add the “group membership” gmail contact field as an option in my zap fields. Thanks for any help.
I am trying to attach an uploaded file from an RFQ form (gravity form) to a lead in Clarity. Files are typically PDFs or .zip files. I’m trying to create a Zap that triggers on a new file in my Google Drive Public Folder. The test step seems to work during the create phase but nothing I seem to do will actually trigger the Zap after it’s turned on (ie: running the Zap manually after new files are uploaded to the folder).The same Zap using Dropbox works as expected.Any ideas? My Facebook lead from a Messenger campaign is going into Salesforce but it’s coming up under a Test Campaign rather than the Campaign I assigned it to.
I need to post a message to a specific slack channel based on a job number. Job number will be in the name of the slack channel. Job number is variable and based on a file name that the zap is processing. There does not seem to be a way to have Zapier tell Slack to search for a channel name. Workaround is to search for messages including the job number and get the channel name from that message. Not perfect as sometimes the returned message is from the wrong channel. Anyone have any better ideas for finding Slack channel names?Cheers
Hello, I’m trying to figure out a solution to my issue. I have a cognito form that collects a lot of information. I use Microsoft Outlook for contacts. What I have set up is that Outlook searches for the contact by email. If it finds the contact, nothing happens, if the contact is not found one is created. What I want is to have the contact updated if it is found, and created if it is not. I see that update contact is one of the actions, I’m just unsure if a new contact will be created if the update action searches and doesn’t find a contact. I thought paths may work but I couldn’t seem to figure out how to trigger a path based on whether a contact was found or not (using the action “search contacts” in outlook). Thanks for any suggestions!
Ok, so I created a zap that creates a new row in a Google Spreadsheet when a Woocommerce order is created in WooCommerce. But the order status is (obviously) not updated. So many orders that are on status “completed” in Woocommerce are still on “pending” in the Google Spreadsheet.So my questions are:1.) Is it possible to create a zap that updates the order status of already imported orders?2.) How can I do that?Thank you for any help,Andrea

Hi, I’ve setup a Facebook Lead Trigger that connects to Mail Chimp. When setting up the app, I’ve successfully aggregated lead data from Facebook and sent that data to the correct Mail Chimp audience...in test mode only. The app has been live for over a week and isn’t piping any data to Mail Chimp automatically. I checked my Facebook campaign and the account has garnered over 125 leads since the launch of the Zap App. Please Advice.
Greetings Zapier comunity, I hope everyone is doing great. I’ve been using at my company Zapier for many integrations in the past but we now have an issue trying to make a simple connection between Moodle and MailChimp, because we can’t figure out how to authenticate a Moodle user with Zapier. As far as I know Zapier indicates that the user we need to connect to needs to be have the Manager Role, which is done. But we keep getting an error message (Screenshot attached), saying “authentication failed: Error code servicenotavailable”. We enabled the web services option in Moodle, we enabled the REST protocol, created a personalized Web Service for Zapier, we added an authorized user for it to the web service, although we haven’t add any capabilities to the service, because we dont know if this is the way to go. I would like to know if this is the right way to go about the process for connecting Moodle to Zapier. And I would be greatly grateful for any guidance or help on the topic. Ha
Hi all,I’m trying to create a Zap for Pipedrive based on Kartra Activity.I want to update my Pipedrive deal and move it to another stage within pipedrive once a tag is placed upon a lead within my Kartra List. My Trigger is 1. Lead Is Assigned Tag in Kartra2. Find Person in Pipedrive3. Update Deal in Pipedrive I am unable in the “Update Deal” section find and dynamically insert the deal that I require to update. Any advice or a solution would be great
I have an issue where I am getting data from an updated row of a Google Sheet, and I am using that key value pair in my own action, to access it I am using bundle.inputData.machine_id_of_that_data which should return value fetched from Google Sheet like 123 or 590 or any integer, instead, what I am getting is something like {{92713119_COL$A}} . I have seen the documentation of accessing the data inside of an action ( creates ) in cli and implemented them. Everytime I have tested it with default utility of zapier cli ( mocha, it gets replaced with the value that I give for example 490 ). But while creating the zap, it doesn’t work

Hello Friends I have the following problem after using zap for the past four weeks now (Upload video in YouTube when new file in folder in Google Drive Zap not trigger tasks) All my zap steps are accurate with green marks, but still, after uploading movies on google drive no task is triggering to the youtube channels link to zap Below is the screenshot to tells the arrangement of my configuration: I even went as far to disconnect my previous google drive account and change to another google dirve paid account to setup a new zap, the zap test is successful but if i upload a new movie to the specified google account / new file in a folder it will still not trigger the task I equally checked my task history bar to see if there’s any record made on the task log but no record of what so ever Thanks in advance, for any help you can give me.

Hello, I get notifications from Carrot.com to my gmail anytime someone submits a form on my website. I would like to setup a Zap that allows me to automatically add those leads from my email to MailChimp as a new subscriber. The problem I’m having is that once those leads are read by Zapier, it doesnt separate the person’s name, email, and phone number the same way that I get this information via email. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Recently I've tried a new Code by Zapier feature and enjoyed it. Then I thought that just pasting code without introducing its versioning makes me feel worried. But as far as I can see you don't have code versioning inside Zapier, you can only use external services like GitHub, GitLab, and others for this task. Do you face this problem? How do you solve it? Or do you organize your code using other principles?
Hey!New to Zapier, used loads of automation tools in the past.I’ve got a short zap that uploads an audio file, connects to AssemblyAI to transcribe. My issue is with recieving the transcription.Currently using a “Create file from Text” (google drive, if it matters). Everything is fine except the content of the file;Transcript result text says “no data” - despite the test file having 1 minute of audio.Is there a different widget for getting the text? None seem applicable, all of them are showing up empty. Is this an AssemblyAI problem? Zapier problem?I can get the files transcribed (albeit poorly) directly on AssemblyAI’s website, but no way to extract transcription via zapier (shows up blank).Help?
