I am having an issue with data that is being added to my google sheets not conforming to the format that is already set for the column the data is being entered into. I have seen other questions about the same thing, such as dates that are correctly formatted in Zapier showing up as just a numeric number when added to google sheets and the answer is always “format that column to the date format”. My problem is that my columns are ALREADY set to the correct formatting and when a new row is added, the formatting for that row reverts to Automatic, or something else that is not what I set it to. Example: One of my columns if for an ID number that is formatted “1234-12” and a custom format has been applied to the entire column to keep it from trying to treat the number as a math formula (this has been done multiple times), however often when a new row is added and the number “1234-12” is added to the cell in that column, it is changed to a number like “-123456”. Cause one of the options available in triggers, is successful payment in regardless of what they pay for. I don't want that all the new successful payments regardless the product they purchased, they will receive receipt email that is not intended to all customers who pay for a particular product. There is this particular event where I have to custom trigger.

I’m using a custom webhook request to make an API call to check if a user account exists in an external service. If a user does exist, a 200 is returned along with their information. Otherwise, the API returns a 404. The purpose of the Zap is precisely to create a new user account if one doesn’t already exist, but it’s always treating the 404 as a hard failure, aborts the run, and sets the Zap in an “errored” state.I managed to work around the issue of the run aborting using a combination of Storage and Path tasks, but is there a way to tell the Zap that it didn’t fail just because this one API step returned a 404?

I have created the JS that is capturing some data and I am passing it to Zapier via a Post with Ajax. Here is the example code that I am using and shows how the data is getting passed. $.ajax({ type: "POST", url: "https://hooks.zapier.com/hooks/catch/***", data: "{'Id': 1111,'email': 'test@test.com'}", success: function (result) { console.log(result); }, dataType: "json"});</script> This script works and the data I need passed is working great. The data as it come in is getting passed into the Raw Body field. I am needing to get the email from this data so that I can then use it to send an email thru Zapier. All the parse code that I have tried is not working and I keep getting a JSON error. Once i have it parsed - I realized I don’t have a data field to use to add to the email Zapier option.Is there any examples of how to parse this data and save it to a zapier data field so I can use it in an email?

I have an Action that posts data to my API for my SaaS app. We’ve recently added a Custom Fields feature to our app, in which our users can define the key and field label.I obviously can’t put the key into the integration because my integration needs to work for all client instances. So looking for advice on the best approach to handle this.Should I create a Dynamic Field? Seems like I would need a new API endpoint to look up the custom field keys.Or is their an easier way to do this where my users can map data from the Trigger to custom fields in the zap?

Person texts a pre-defined number; response text should show 3 available day/time slots from a pre-defined Google calender2. ask the person to press a number (1,2 or 3) to select an option, {or ask to enter HH:MM AM/PM} (none-available or other edge-cases can be addressed later)3. Update the G calendar with person`s name and phone number and the selected slot4. send a confirmation to the person 24 hours before the eventsource of text: Whatsapp or iPhone text message (via iMessage) or Android text message (via Android Messaging) or Flip phone text messaging (older demographics) Any help on how to create above zaps will be much appreciated!
Salesforce has a “Salesforce Integration” User License with a “Salesforce API Only System Integrations” profile. It’s the best practice to use that for Salesforce integrations to other systems, like Zapier. I added the necessary permission set. In Zapier, I tried to connect a new app. I picked Salesforce. Sandbox. The login window is presented. I enter the user name and passwords for my ‘Zapier Integration’ user and get an error to check the username & password. I validate in a separate login window that the credentials are accurate.

OpenAI doesn’t have GPT4ChatGPT4 does have GPT4 but you can’t use it in the same way i.e. You can’t just enter a prompt. It seems to be more for things like chat bot conversations etc.So, for my use case it seems like I am stuck with OpenAI and GPT3.5.
I cannot get my Zap to work. It seems to be the Id, I do not know what to enter. What does this mean?ActiveCampaign Id of the contact. NOTE: IF THIS IS NOT PROVIDED, 'email' MUST BEI have tried leaving it blank, and adding the list id but keep receiving errors. When I test the action it works but when I try to add a contact an error message is returned. Even though I have added the actions in the right place it is returning the wrong fields. Trying to fix a broken zap and cannot for the life of me find out how to add the bot to google.I have added a connection with my Google credentials to Google Chat. However when I try to create a zap the trigger for google chat is greyed out and says “not available”. Also my google spaces don’t have a “Zapier” bot to add into.
Hi Community!I’m having a strange issue where Zapier can’t find certain asana tasks within projects. I have a zap that does a few different things, but within it I find a specific project in Asana. That works well. When I search that project for a specific task, it gives me an error message. Strangely enough, I’ve tested it with other tasks within that project and some will be found.Has anyone run into bugs or issues like this with finding tasks within asana projects?Thanks!
Hello, I am trying to configure a zap that will update a google spreadsheet each time a record is created/updated in Airtable. The Trigger I am using is “new or updated record in airtable” and the action “Find or Create a Row in Google Sheets”. When I get to the Step of mapping the Google Sheet Fields to the corresponding fields in Airtable, there are a number of fields that are not appearing in the dropdown menu. Does anyone know what may be causing this and how to remedy it? I’ve included a screenshot below (note: the fields that do not have the airtable icon next to the field name are those that I manually keyed in)

I'm trying to create my first Zap - a Slack integration so anyone on a team can ask ChatGPT questions and everyone can see the responses. I'm getting this error "Error Code 429 - You exceeded your current quota, please check your plan and billing details" even though I've upgraded to GPT plus. Could you help me debug?
We have successfully added 6 connections before without issues. Now it gives us an error message every time. Checked with Teachable and we are using the right subdomain to make the connection. Sent a request to Zapier, no reply. Authentication Failed:We don’t see any popups to “allow or “accept like it asks. Where is this? It’s not on the Teachable side.I don’t see where there is a place in the account to correct permissions. Any help would be great. Oh, and have a great holiday!
Okay, so at my job we have a message board for incoming calls. I am trying to set up Zap to autoreply with my extension to a specific string posted in chat. However, once it posts my extension, I need it to stop replying for about 10 minutes, so I can handle the call I am taking. We are considering using Zapier for lean gen submissions from various websites. However, I wonder if it’s possible to set task limit on Zapier to prevent overuse, bugs and/or spam. Zapier bills by the number of tasks executions. How can we limit the number of task per month/week/day so we don’t get a surprise bill at the end of month?
