While building my first Zap I have often got an error when trying to validate my user with OAuth. I have no idea why because sometimes it works and there seems to be no pattern to the failures. The error is  reason: getaddrinfo ENOTFOUND  which a bit of googling reveals as a DNS error. What I don’t understand is why this would be intermittent.  Does any have any ideas?

Hello, y’all How can i format a text in that way so i can remove the last 2 lines of it?! I have an email and the last 2 lines are: Empty line Date of the email being sent. I tried to use date as a separator it didn’t worked!

Hello Zapier dev community, I work at FullStory, where I am building a Zapier app to go along with our recently-released webhooks feature. To configure a webhook in FS, users are required to provide a secret value that our servers use to sign payloads before delivery, so it can be verified that they were indeed sent from us. While it is easy enough to have someone provide this as an input field in a zap, it results in a slightly awkward experience where they are asked to “customize” the object of the webhook (e.g. for a “Note Created” event, it says “Customize Note” when asking for the secret). And this is otherwise a bit of a clunky interruption to the normal flow of creating a zap. What I would really prefer is to be able to auto-generate this secret at subscribe time and store it somewhere in the bundle, so this process is opaque to users. I can not find the Helium 10 - Portals app to create a Zap  

Can’t input a custom valueSo, this is a duplicate of working zaps I have, but I can’t make it work with the new UI as I can’t input a custom drive (as before). My shared drives are not recognized - and I am therefore blocked, as I need to create a folder in my company drive - not my personal drive. This is very new and old zaps work fine - is this something that was forgotten by devs when changing the UI?​​​​​

I'm looking to create a trigger via Zapier that begins with WHEN A MEMBER LEAVES A COURSE, but want to be able to set it up with a specific course. Is that possible? We want to sync with Accredible Certificates to be able to send custom badges to users when they complete different courses. We’ve got everything down except for being able to link to a specific course in Mighty Network. Any ideas?

Hey Zappers, I’m trying to figure out how to Zap access to a video or a community page with video access.    My first attempt was to accept the payment via checkout on Squarespace and then zap customers to our private community page with videos.   My second attempt was to accept payment via checkout on Squarespace and then zap customers to the Youtube/Wistia video link.    Checking existing Zaps, I only see instructions for how to upload a video not view a video.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you.  

Greetings, first attempt at a zap.  I am using a preconfigured one designed to pull new google contacts into hubspot. When setting it up:   It appears to accurately pull test contacts from Google Contacts under “Find Data” It does not seem to be doing anything on the “Send Data” side. When I attempt to run a test in the set-up, I’m either doing it incorrectly or it’s not working. When I skip testing, run the zap, and conduct my own test by creating a new test contact in Google Contacts, nothing transfers to my Hubspot. Help?? Thanks

I am trying to create todos in Things 3 by Culture Code every time I create a new card in Trello with the title of the Trello card.  Problem I am having is the Todo that is being created is just whatever standard message I put in the customize “Title” and “Note” section whenever I set it up in Zapier.  I mean that's kind pointless.  I want the todo to have the Title of the card in Trello not just some repeating message I had set up in the past.  Any help appreciated.

I am trying to setup a Zap that will send an Email Template to a Customer with Attachment. I am using JobNImbus, and JobNimbus does not allow Automation triggers to send Attachments. Here is what I want to happen: On Status Change of JobNimbus I need it to trigger an email to a customer with a specific Attachment located in Google Drive. A Email template with custom verbiage created by me should be the body of the email.  Please help!

@Danvers Can I trigger a url when we get a new Slack mention? For example, if someone uses #help, can  I set the Zap to send a link/url to that slack channel/user?

I connected Instagram to discord, and it’s working fine. But, the media URL it posts is too long and looks odd in the chat. Is these any way to shorten the URL. Or i wanna know how to send embeds through Zapier on discord, so i can link that url to media part of embed.

I am trying to create a post request that returns an array of gross pay items. I thought I did it correctly and it said that my request was successful, but seconds later I got this big red alert that said “Cannot convert undefined or null value to object (throttled).” I have attached the return code I am using and the model of the data it should be returning. I also attached a photo of the error message. Does anyone have any idea what is going on here? Here is the Model of the data that should be returned. I am trying to pull in only the grossPayItems Array.Here is the code I am using to pull in the grossPayItems. I have tried wrapping it in an array and not wrapping it in an array with the same results both times.Here is the error message it is giving. 

Hello Zapier community,   while I setting up and testing a new zap, a connection to one of the apps involved was lost, even though there were no changes whatsoever of any API Key. As a result no data could be sent to this app, as it is to be expected. The solution was running the “Reconnect” button under “My Apps”.   This situation left me wondering: is there any way to proactively monitor the connected apps, so that an eventual disconnection could be intercepted and fixed almost immediately? In this scenario, we wouldn’t have to wait for a zap to fail to become aware the disconnection.   Does anyone know if such monitoring can be implemented with the existing functionality? Best Regards

Hi all,  Zapier newbie.  I have a Typeform survey collecting data staffing level data and am trying to push it into Excel (Office 365 business license) as a new row. I have used the prebuilt Zap for this.  The data appears in Excel, however the data is aggregated into one cell i.e. one column and one row, rather than split out across multiple columns in one row.  I’m not sure really on what I’m missing and some clear guidance on how to make the zap work would be much appreciated.    Thanks in advance.  Nin

I have set up many zaps connecting Gravity Forms to Google Sheets without issue. My latest one is giving me trouble. The Zap says it’s working but no data gets written. How do I fix a problem that my Zap says isn’t there? What should I be looking at?

Hi everyone, I’m new here and I believe my question is very basic, but haven’t found a response anywhere.  My Zap uses a Typeform text field to publish a Wordpress post. The title of the post is the Typeform field, so title does not need any additional text. However, the Zap requires me to write a default text. Why?  As you can see in the attached image, the field is populated with a field from Typeform. It says “no data” which also I dont know what it means… because there is data for each Typeform response.  Thanks!   

Now that online courses are incredibly popular, which online course platforms do Zapier integrate with?    If anyone can comment with your experience with your preferred platform and Zapier’s integration, that would be helpful.   I’m especially curious about Google Classroom -- how do we submit a feature request for Zapier to connect with it?

I have several users and teams on my Calendly Account. I user Zapier and have a zap for my scheduled appointments to create a row in Excel to keep track. However, it tracks ALL appointments for ALL users and teams. I want the teams and users to be separate but I do not see an option on Zapier to custom the zaps by team, it pulls in all appointments for all users/teams. My goal is to create multiple excel tracker sheets for different teams and users.  Ex. Tracker Sheet For Team 1, Team 2, User 1, User 2 etc.
