I know you can create a new google folder, but can you automatically MOVE it or RENAME it, once it’s been created?For example, say you have created a folder "ACME CORP" in a parent folder called "Clients", which got automatically created when they became a client. But say they stop being a client and you want to create a trigger (ie, an offboarding form) that moves the folder “ACME CLIENT” from the folder “Clients” to another folder called "Ex clients". Or if you can't move the client folder into another folder, could you rename it? For example, create a trigger to rename the folder "ACME CORP" to something like "old-ACME CORP"?I've been googling and I can't find anything for either moving or renaming folders that already exist. (I only see it for moving or renaming files, but what about FOLDERS)?Maybe it's not possible yet?…Thanks to anybody who can help!
Hello,I’m a local officer in an organization, and we’re looking to expand the way we communicate/share/advertise our events to our members. In an effort to streamline and simplify, I’m thinking it makes sense to have a central repository of our events (either in Google Sheets or Google Calendar), and then from there send it to each communication channel. Zapier is an obvious choice to consider for automated the distribution of the information, however I’ve run into an early problem.On of the main goals of our committee is to have a Facebook event for each of our events. We use a private group for our members, and it’s important that the events stay private to our population (among other reasons, some events are at members’ homes, and therefore their address is shared). The number of events can be anywhere from 30-60 a month, so manually created each event in Facebook is not really viable.I cannot seem to find a way to automate creating events in a Facebook group from either Google Shee
Suppose I am creating a ZAP for importing order to the External API. The External API is not well optimized and requires one call for creating the Order and separate call for each Order Line to attach it to the previously created Order.If the number of Order Lines is low, say less than 10, I can execute multiple requests in a single ZAP cell with custom code and it would work just fine. However, these ZAPs have limit of 10 seconds of execution time. In case there will be Order with 1000 Order Lines, it will certainly reach the 10 seconds limit as the whole import process could take maybe a few minutes.To solve this, I guess I need to somehow split that single ZAP that is executing all the 1000 calls to calling 1000 times another ZAP that is responsible for executing a single Order Line call. I know it is possible to “chain” ZAPs, i.e. trigger one ZAPs after another, but in this case I need to tigger the unknown number of ZAPS and I don’t know how to do that.How do you suggest to sol
HiI am relatively new to Zapier. We have a data source in our first step that includes what looks like a multidimensional array data structure called ‘properties’ All fine so far.However when we try extract this data for inclusion in a CRM database in step 3, this properties variable is combined into a comma separated string (see below) and we are unable to split the values open to use in different fields. I wish to tweet all the photos sent to a discord channel, and then add the users that posted the photo in discord channels names onto the tweet, so for example my name is Will; if i send a photo to the discord channel, it will automatically post this and the text will read “Will” similarly if my other friends were to post it would read their names, can someone help me set this up please, thanks
Hi,I’m new to Zapier and social media marketing in general.I’m running a FB Ad (lead gen) and created a zap to my gmail with the instant form.I’ve then created a zap from that same FB ad to a mailchimp tag.Should I have created two separate Zaps or should i have added both gmaill and mailchimp to the same Zap? Hi,I’m completely new to Zapier and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if Zapier will do what I need it to or am I on the wrong path? I’m completely new to automation so please bare with me :-) I have an airtable base that has multiple tabs set up in it (sorry if I’m using the wrong terms here...). Two of those tabs store data that we want to send to multiple wordpress websites. We need a new custom post to be created when a new entry is added to airtable, one of the tabs is to create one custom post type - the other tab creates a different custom post type. We also need it to update the posts if there is a change within airtable. From what I’ve read so far I think Zapier will do the above for me...I’m not so sure about the updating of posts though. The next bit however I really can’t work out. Once the data is transferred to wordpress we need to be able to access the data to then be able to manually create different custom posts on an as needed basis.The only other way I can ex

I don’t seem to understand how to calculate the number of Tasks (I know, it probably is a recurring topic), thanks for pointing me in the right direction:I have a Zap that gets a single trigger and then plays. Step 6 is a Webhook GET request that seems to return a JSON array. I want the Zap to perform actions for each element of the array. For Step 7, the input for the action is that output returned by Step 6 (element i of JSON array), so I assume all following Steps including this one will play as many times as there are elements in the array (returned by Step 6).But that’s not what I seem to see in the task history: As expected, the Zap runs as many times as there are elements inthe Array provided by Step 6, however, the number of Tasks is the total number of Steps in the Zap for each run.That doesn’t make sense to me...Wouldn’t it make sense, if steps up to the Steps that take the array as input are counted only once? Hello all! I need help to create an automation workflow. Total newbie and I need to know if this is possible. My business is creating voiceovers and transcriptions. Here's what I want to happen with Zapier:Step 1. When my client pays for a service (trying to decide between Square and Stripe), I want to have my file sharing service (planning on using Digital Pigeon for my file sharing service) create a folder with either the order number on it OR the clients name on it.Step 2. I do my work... no zaps needed here Step 3. I upload the finished file to the client folder on Digital Pigeon and my client gets an email to let them know the work is complete and they can download the file. I am trying to simply add three employees automatically to every single event that gets created or updated. We have a generic google calendar for our podcast guests to schedule their podcast episode. We want to automatically have that event invite our personal calendars. I feel like this should be very simple, but it has taken me 4 hours of searching and researching to no avail. Hello, So I have asked the first question and was assisted. The general idea is someone submits a Google Form and it creates a Slack Channel automatically. The next step is to make sure users are added to the channel automatically to avoid manually touching it. The issue I run into is you can only select created channels so how would Zapier know to add users to the recently created channel? Thanks in advance.
Hi, I am trying to connect my website for lead generator from them and transfer to our CRM named Acculynx. Apprently it was working before, but I am trying to interface but in the website I have beta version of Acculynx software. So, what I should do in order to connect betwen these websites?
Whenever I try to create a zap, Zapier asks me to give it the Survey Gizmo API key and Secret Key and when I give it the key from Survey Gizmo it gives me an authentication error even though it’s the correct key. What do I do? Hi,I’m starting to acumulate a lot of Zaps and would like to organise better. Firstly I’d like an exported list of all Zap’s and ID’s if possible. I can then use the ID’s as references in my documentation and workflow diagrams. Anyone got any ideas on how to do this with some automation or queries? Cheers

We often get connections dropping for no reason, LearnWorld today, Xero last week, ActiveCampaign a couple of weeks ago, etc.We receive the "account encountered an authentication problem." email and it’s always simply clicking reconnect, we never need to do anything to the accounts to connect.Is this just an inherent problem that everyone has?
I have been using zapier to take customer information and create lines in Airtable when they book with us. We have recently started using Monday.com and I am trying to transition everything over. The Issue:When I setup my zaps with Monday.com everything seems to be working well until I try to setup column values. I’ve looked up another article that explains how to do it, turned on monday labs, turned on developer mode and I am getting the column names by clicking the drop down arrow next to the column and typing in the grey value listed. eg. “numbers.” Can someone help?
