What will the user interface be like for a first-time user of Zapier?
I am looking at Zapier to connect my clients using Insightly and Square. If they use Zapier, what is their user experience like in terms of a screen. In other words, would they still use Insightly and Square with the same screens and navigation as they do now without Zapier? Or would they be working a new type of screen? Does Zapier work in the background or change their screen use? Thank you.Andy
How do I send Facebook comments to Slack Channel?
Is there any way to send Facebook comments on a business page to a Slack channel? I want to be notified whenever someone leaves a comment on post, and have that comment posted in a Slack channel I’ve set up for that purpose. I’m new to Zapier, and I’ve noticed that you can send posts on your page’s timeline to a Slack channel, but I haven’t seen anything about doing so specifically for comments. Can anyone help?
How to set up automated monthly Quickbooks invoicing based on Google Ads account ad spend?
Hi, I’m trying to setup automated billing for my Google Ads/Facebook Ads agency. I bill based on actual ad spend at the end of each month. So, I bill for March in the beginning of April based on the previous month’s spend for each clients ad account(s). Is there a way to use zapier to automate Quickbooks invoicing while referencing unique ad spend from Google Ads for each client so that the amount of each invoice is updated to the exact amount spent in the Google/Facebook Ad account? Hello! Cautious markteer here.With my companies software solution we currently are in Beta-phase with our connection/integration. In order to grow our users using the integration (and attract new users), I would like to announce our software’s integration. Can I use Zapiers logo in a social media picture on Linkedin, Instagram and on our software’s integration landingpage?I couldn’t find any legal/copyright info on this. I know many Marketeers “just do” stuff like this all the time without asking (and 99% of the time never face any backlash) but i just want to be informed.Best regards!
Add a tracking category to new xero invoice
Hello,We get new invoices coming in from gettimely to Xero via gettimely’s Xero integration. The problem is that the integration between gettimely and Xero does not have the ability to populate tracking categories set up in Xero.We have a tracking category in Xero called “locations”. The location is populated by Timely, but in the description field. I can create a filter that looks at the description field of the item and extracts the location.What I’m wondering is if there is a way to update an existing line item in a Xero invoice to add the location in the location tracking category. I don’t see an ‘action’ option in Zapier to update an existing invoice. Thank you,Narcois

We currently use campaign members to track a lot of the activity they are doing either on the web or at specific events. Out of the box, Marketo can only add leads/contacts to campaigns and update their member status.Can Zapier connect to the campaign member object and update all of the custom fields in the object? We have these fields in the Programs in Marketo, just no way to connect to the CM object in SFDC.
How do I find a Trello card by URL or ID?
Hi! I’m trying to use Zapier to find a Trello card based on its URL.I know where the card lives so I can even specify the board and list, I just need to be able to search by URL rather than simply the card’s name. The URL is stored in our Airtable CRM and will allow us to automatically find and re-allocate cards around to the right places and people.You can already use custom board & list ID ‘strings’ (i.e. mapping in a field with the ID to identify the board/list you want) in order to send cards to different places - which is great - so I feel like a simple card find feature is the missing piece and should be fairly straightforward. It would allow ultimate automation control and workflow!Please can I request this feature or upvote an existing request, and keep me posted with any updates!
Active Campaign to send emails upon specific teachable lecture completion
I am trying to set up a series of Zaps to send specific emails from active campaign when a student completes certain lectures on teachable. We have drafted specific emails to be sent after specific lectures have been completed. I am noticing two errors in the zap I have created but can't figure out a solution. The first error is on the teachable side under "test trigger." It's pulling lecture progress A, B, C, D, etc.I need progress A at 2% Progress B at 7% Progress C at 21%There is a different zap created for each percentage of progress in the course to correspond with completing a specific lecture so that the email created for that lecture is sent upon completion. Upon creating a new zap and trying to pull lecture progress, it updates all Progress's regardless of letter to the same percentage. Sending weekly message on Slack with Google Sheets Data based on condition
Hi everyone,I would like to set up a Zapier to send an automatic weekly message on Slack that includes some Google sheet data based on condition. Context: every Monday we share a weekly KPI called "number of work days since last user talk". The idea is that a member of the team shouldn't spend more than 10 days without speaking to a user. So we have a Google Sheet that is counting the number of days and when for a team member the number is greater than 10 we highlight it in red.What I would like to do with Zapier is:1. Find in my Google sheet the members for which the number of days is greater than 102. Send a message on the team slack channel that @identify the people for which the cell is in red (i.e. the number is greater than 10)3. Wrong Last Modified Date Is Not Allowing Automation to Trigger
I use Zapier to connect my Google Drive to other applications. The automation triggers when a new file is uploaded to Google Drive. However, sometimes the Last Modified Date on Google Drive is wrong (days, weeks, or months prior to upload date). Therefore, the automation does not trigger because it assumes the file was uploaded at an earlier date. Is there a way to make the Last Modified Date on Google Drive change to the Upload Date? OR Is there a way to make Zapier recognize the file upload even though the Last Modified Date isn't the day of the upload? NOTE: we are using a Shared Drive on Google Drive. Thanks!
Automating blood pressure, weight, caloric intake, and liquids
I find myself struggling to find a way to automate import of blood pressure data from an (Omron Bluetooth monitor) and nutritional data from (my fitness pal)and weight measurements from Bluetooth (Body+ Scale) …To a custom spreadsheet that I have created to monitor pleural drainage data My wife has an implanted catheter (PleurX BD)… we can’t do the drainage procedure unless several conditions are met on a daily basis… I am currently entering the information manually… I’ve attached a copy of my spreadsheet for your review… Treat only as data as it is private information… it is a work in progress, I plan on Adding charts and graphs and averages and all that fun stuff when I get the data portion finalized…Any assistance on the automation from the 3rd party apps would be appreciatedTim P.This post has been edited by a moderator to remove personal information. Hi I'm trying to connect my Hubspot CRM to WorkBoard.What I Want?When a deal is created in Hubspot pipeline an Action Item should be created with proper text format.What Issue I'm Facing:When I try to import deal information to workboard with our desired text format it doesn't format correctly. Move Google Drive document from one folder to another based on Trello Card Action
Hello Everyone,I have cards in Trello that are created with attachments from a file folder on Google Drive - Accounts Payable. I would like for that document to be moved to a “Paid” Folder also on google drive within the same parent folder. The action in Trello is based on moving to the Paid List on TrelloThe next action I set was to find that file on Google Driveand finally set the action to move that file to that “paid” folder.I can’t get the move action to work - I get an error that the File can not be found. I mapped the same as in previous step. Is there a zap for this that I just didn’t find? Has anyone been able to make something like this work?Thank you!
Text to Line-item without comma separator
Hi, I am trying to perform text to line-item conversion using data from several google sheet cells. The issue I’m running into is that the text within the cells may have comma’s in them and are being split as new lines. Is there anyway to change how the separator character? Otherwise, has anyone come across a workaround for this issue? Blank test is below. Any descriptions that contain commas are split into additional lines when I don’t want that. Google Sheets - Error: Nothing could be found for the search.
I am Trying to create a Zap which will update an existing Google Sheet Row when a new Google Calendar event is created.The trigger seems to be set and the first update tests well. However, the function needs to update subsequent rows each time the Zap runs. I have built the Lookup Spreadsheet step but apparently missing something as I am getting this notification: The search is set up as such so that if the date column on the spreadsheet is not yet populated the update should execute.What am I missing? I am about as green as they come so surely it is something simple.
