Updating Contact in Clickfunnels

I’m using a chatbot to get leads and want to then add this contact information to Clickfunnels so I can send them my follow up emails. I’m only able to add an email as part of the contact, and not a name as well. It just puts in Unknown Name. Is this simply a limitation of what Zapier and Clickfunnels can do or is there some kind of workaround or am I doing something wrong?

It sounds like your Zap is set up correctly, however the ability to add additional information to your Clickfunnels contact is not currently available. The good news is that there is an open feature request for this functionality and I have added you as an interested user!

This does a few things:

  • Re-raises this issue with the app’s team
  • Adds weight to the issue in queue
  • Reminds us to update you if there is an update

It has been two years since this request was made and I still can’t seem to send more than an email to ClickFunnels. Can you update us on the status of this open feature request?
