Has anyone here managed a Klaviyo + Hubspot integration with Zapier

Hi We’re a B2C business currently using hubspot but can’t afford to subscribe to the marketing enterprise hub. I’ve had great experience with Klaviyo in the past so would like to use this for my marketing emails. Has anyone done this successfully? I’m really struggling to be able to get this set up with the right triggers but still have hubspot as my main source of CRM Thanks

PostgreSQL Errors for column type "money" - We're having trouble loading 'Primary Key' data

We recently added a column to a PostgreSQL table using the money datatype.  This caused our Zaps to stop working and “We’re having trouble …” messages that also state “(Can’t generate DDL for NullType(); did you forget to specify a type on this Column?)” but not the column name.Problem solved by changing the properties of the Columns from Data type “money” to Data type “numeric” (without specifying any Length/Precision).

WORKAROUND for Gmail not recognizing new mails

Sharing is caring; we all know the “bug” that Zapier does not recognizing all new emails in Gmail. Well thats unlucky, but we found a workaround. @greg.kelly & the Zapier Support send us a desperate user and she could not work with her zap anymore. So here is the workaround how to use Gmail, when Zapier does not recognize new emails. You anyway want that only some mails get processed? Than label emails based on specific subjects within gmail. https://www.techjunkie.com/automatically-label-emails-gmail/Then choose in the Gmail app “New Labeled Email”. If you want that all new emails are processed use: Simply an “@” by from - since all emails contain an @  next step in Zapier select: “New Labeled Email” and from here it works like usually :) #shortest workaround

How to Retrieve the HTML Version of a Google Doc for Dynamically Editable Email Templates

One of the best ways to send automated emails in Zapier is using an email template. This template can be hardcoded HTML in a send email action step using a Zapier email app such as Gmail or Outlook.However, having this email message hardcoded would be a pain to maintain since the Zap would have to be deactivated if a change to the template was required. Futhermore HTML isn’t user friendly. The person creating or editing the template would have to know how to write HTML code.Wouldn’t it be easier if this template was a beautiful Google Doc instead of HTML?But how do you get that Google Doc to spit out HTML when you need to send it as an HTML email? Here’s how.The first step is to ensure the Google Doc has a publicly viewable URL by sharing it with at least “Anyone on the Internet with this link can view”.  Next copy the link. How to Trigger a Zap from a Windows DOS Batch File

It took me a while to work out the syntax to trigger a zap from a Windows DOS batch file, so I thought I would share it.First, you will need to be sure that you have Windows PowerShell installed. This is open-source software supported by Microsoft. You will find more details and can download the software from the Microsoft Website here.To trigger a zap from a DOS batch, use the following command:powershell -NoProfile "irm ENTER-THE-FULL-ZAP-WEBHOOK-HERE | Out-Null"Thas it. How to blank data in a single Google Sheets cell using "Update Spreadsheet Row" action.

On more than one occasion, I needed to delete the data in a single Google Sheet cell. But as noted Common Problems with Sheets article, this is not possible. The only option is to enter some sort of visible character or delete the entire row.However, I found a simple solution. Just go to emptycharacter.com and click on the Copy To Clipboard in Method 1 and then paste the invisible character into the column of Update Spreadsheet Row action for the cell that you want to blank out. A small red dot should appear, indicating that there is a character there. (The dot may not always appear, but there is a character there.)Run the zap, and the cell should be empty.

Using Looping and Digest in one Zap

I love the new Looping functionality and for me, its usefulness is really amplified if you combine it with the Digest functionality. Here is how I used them together in one Zap with some tips & tricks along the way!The use case:Our Sales team wanted to be able to quickly see which users had either activated their account or logged into their account over the past X days on a client-level. Using JS and Storage to mitigate webhook race conditions

I sometimes have situations where an external system sends the same event multiple times to a webhook simultaneously, but I only want one of them to make it through. In other words, I need to throttle all of the events variably so they arrive at different times, then use a logic gate to allow only the first one to make it through. (You can’t use the built-in “delay” option, because this will simply delay all of them an equal amount -- they’ll still arrive simultaneously, just… later.)After continued iteration, this my current solution:Use the JS variable delay trick first suggested by @AndrewJDavison_Luhhu in this post to force every task run to experience a delay between 0 and 10 seconds (exclusive). Use Zapier’s Storage as a simple state manager to quickly shut the gate after the first winning task run. Finding Rows in Google sheets that CONTAIN a lookup value (NO CODE)

 Hi there!I have seen this requested a couple of times so thought I would try to tackle a solution. This is what I would consider advanced but does not include any code blocks or coding. How would YOU build a no-code "mad libs" type site using Zaps?

I am aiming to build a no-code site akin to Mad Libs. A user comes in, fills out a form (let’s say name | hair color | city), that data goes into Sheets or Airtable. Then I want to run a job using zaps, where those field entries are sucked up to populate fields in a short story (2-5 pages long). Ideally each generated story would live on it’s own page on my site. Perhaps as HTML, perhaps as an embedded PDF or other doc. How could I do this with Zaps? Would Formstack Docs be best integration? Any clever ideas welcomed, I am learning as I go!

Move a field from one Google sheet to another after 6 months

Hi all, Is there a way that I can have some fields move from one Google worksheet to another worksheet in the same Spreadsheet after 6 months have passed since the date in the field? To give context, I want to create a zap to help me track inactivity from Meetup groups. So far, I’ve created a zap to put the Meetup event and date in a Google Spreadsheet, in the worksheet called active 6 months. After 6 months have passed, I would like to move the fields taken from Meetup to another worksheet called active 1 year, after that year has passed, I’d like to move the fields into a final worksheet called inactive. I’m having issues using time as a trigger for the zaps. Is this even possible?Thanks.

[New Integration] Pause and Resume

Happy new year!Have you ever wanted to pause a zap (let's call it zap A), trigger another zap (zap and wait for it to finish before resuming the zap A? I don’t know what techniques you might be using to build this kind of workflow but I know that one way of building it is to split the zap A into 2 zaps and have the second zap trigger the second half once it finished its work.While this might work fine, having a way to pause a zap and resume it at a later time would be nice!Pause and Resume is a custom integration I built just for that. My Zapier solution has saved over 330 hours in 9 months

When Covid started getting real, our company, like many, went fully remote. We are a remote research firm with 75% of our work in person. In order to ‘save the 75%’ we all did what we could to help. For me, that meant putting my Zapier skills to work.One of the bigger time drains we identified was the process of manually creating Zoom links. We do a ton of research over Zoom and for every session, a Project Manager would literally login to Zoom, create a meeting, and then copy/paste all the meeting info into a spreadsheet. Given they create about 1,000 Zoom session links per month, this was my chance to make a difference.I went to work and created a solution I call the Zoom Sessions Generator.
