Hi there,I’m new to Zapier, trying to set up a new zap that will send an email from my Gmail every time someone fills a form on my site. So it’s a Google Form < Gmail, zap. But, in the set up page under ‘spreadsheet’ my google form won’t show, even though I triggered it already (by filling it myself once) and refreshed the page. What do I do? Also, under the spreadsheet box there’s a Worksheet box that’s also required. What’s that for? Thanks! 

Hi all.So I’m currently setting up Zapier for one of our clients to retrieve some information through our API. For this I’m running a “Code by Zapier” with Python, but, I’m getting a 1 second timeout issue, so I’ve talked with the partner to let them know they’ll need a paid tier, but now I’m confused that I don’t know if all the paid tiers allow for the same execution time.So the free tier is 1 second, is the starter 2 seconds and the professional 4 seconds? Appreciate any help,Thanks

I am getting the same error but different API version:“The app returned "(#2635) You are calling a deprecated version of the Ads API. Please update to the latest version: v9.0.".”  

Hi, I would like to know if is possible to update specific cells in google Sheet?     Is it also possible to rename the tabs? 

I have a workflow in which I need to notify certain users via Slack when something happens. I have stored these slack user IDs in a global variable (using the Storage action). I can pull the slack user IDs just fine; when I test the Get Value action, the correct value is returned.However, when I set up a step to send a DM to the user via Slack, the step won’t let me continue to the test screen. The variable is clearly being pulled into the username field just fine, but the Continue button is grayed out. I tried setting the username to a direct reference to a username (using the To Username tab to select a user, rather than the Custom tab to pull in my variable). That works fine. If I do that, and then switch to Custom, pulling in my variable, it looks like it works fine and I can click the Continue button. But when I test, it’s sending to the directly-selected username, rather than the variable. If I click back on the Set Up Action section of the Slack step, I see the directly-selected

Hi, I would appreciate any feedback for the following scenario if possible please.I use FB Messenger to engage with subscribers. The subscriber answers questions and the answers to the questions are sent using a webhook to google sheets at the moment.I am wondering if there is any scenario that would allow me to do either one of the following:Collect survey data based on input in Messenger and send to Google Sheets then when the subscriber confirms all data is correct, send that data to another application using Zapier and then email results back to the user Send survey data based on input in Messenger and send direct to the application and once the subscriber confirms that data is correct, send the results back to the subscriberThe survey data collected is based on a specific set of questions but the output results are customised for each subscriber so the application sending the output (ideally PDF) should preferably be customisable for various results. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I’m trying to connect Mailchimp email data (opens, clicks, etc.) to Tableau so I can make a tracking/analysis dashboard.  I’m brand new (today) to Zapier, so I’ve just opened it up to play around a bit. I know there is no native Tableau connector at this time. Q1) I figure one way I could go would be to have Zapier upload MailChimp data to a database (BigQuery/Cloud? Google sheets?) and then connect Tableau to that.  Does that make sense? Q2) Our MailChimp campaigns are one-offs; meaning we build them for each send weekly.  I wanted to figure out a way to have Zapier dump any opens and clicks to my that database (ie; adding a line of data.)  However, it looks like I have to set up new Zaps for each new campaign, rather than have it send for clicks or opens from any campaign we send.  Is that correct, or is there a way to set up what I’d like to do? Thanks,Daniel

I want to make a Google form that people fill out to add events to a Google Calendar.  When I try to build the zap, it is asking me for the “spreadsheet” and “worksheet” and even though I’m starting with a Google form.  I didn’t think Forms had “worksheets”.What am I doing wrong here?  Anyone done this zap successfully?

About the review time or process for an existing app.It seems that once you’ve submitted your app to Zapier, they will contact you within a week to start the review process. I do understand that this can take longer depending on the back and forth between myself and Zapier.My question is the review process when your app is already approved and you want to submit a new major version for approval. Does this also go through the same process as the first time? I assume it will as they will need to test the new Trigger/Action or API endpoint that was updated?The minor version (text update) can be updated and published and will be available in a few minutes / hours to your users?Thanks in advance,Have a lovely evening,

Hi allI’m using a Google Sheet integration to pull a number of results from Google sheets (Get Many Spreadsheet Rows (Advanced, With Line Item Support)I’m currently testing with 2 results, which are: 4157069551,4157190930 I’d like to get each result as it’s own text field.To do this, I’m using Utilities > Line-item-to-textI’m using the ‘Rows’ result from Google sheets in the input which looks like this: I’ve put a comma in the separator box. Here is the output: outputitem_1: 4157069551,4157190930item_2: 4157069551,4157190930item_last: 4157069551,4157190930text: 4157069551,4157190930,4157069551,4157190930 I’m not sure why both results are showing as a one. Any suggestions to get this to split as item 1 and item 2? thanksAdam   

Hey there, I’ve set up an automation with Zapier that runs whenever I publish a new YouTube video on my channel. The automation creates a post in WordPress by uploading the YT thumbnail as a featured image, title as a title and the link to the video as well as the YT video description as the post content.  The problem I’m facing is that the links from my YT caption aren’t showing up as clickable links in the WordPress post. I’d love for this to be fixed, so that users on my website could read through the description and instantly click on the links.  Is there a way to achieve this? I basically just need the URLs that are in the video description to be clickable...

Hello I have created a Zap that take the image and message from a Facebook post and creates a tweet for twitter and is supposed to post the image and message (as caption of course) to Instagram. However, I have gotten it to post only one time without error. Now it won’t post anything.The error message I get is: Could not upload media file: The aspect ratio is not supported.: Invalid Aspect Ratio: The submitted image with aspect ratio ('480/916',) cannot be published. Please submit an image with a valid aspect ratio.I saw another post on here with the recommended image size of 800 x 1528 or 600 x 1146. I started researching the issue and discovered the integration with mallabe that allows images to be resized on the fly. So I added a step to pull the image from the Facebook post and send it to mallabe for resizing, then i took the step to send the image from Facebook to twitter and modified it to use the mallabe file URL, it posted fine (but so did just going straight from facebook). I

Besides Hootsuite, can anyone recommend a social-media plugin for Zapier that will schedule future posts to FB, TW and Instagram? Am having problems with the Instagram side of things cos Hootsuite wont allow scheduled posts to our Instagram business account (It’s giving an unsupported API error or something along those lines). I’m trying to use the “Delay Until” step in my zap for Instagram but it’s causing more problems than it solves. Hello Zapier Community!I have a simple question, i want to upload a document i have created via the “Create a document from a template in google doc” zap in google drive but zapier only suggest me to upload it in my own drive, how can i upload this document to the shared drive (im not the owner of this folder but have editor rights on it).I don’t have a premium Zapier account so i can’t have 3 steps zaps. Thank you.

This has nothing to do with Line, and we’re not sure why “Line” was added to our posting title?We’re trying to fetch a QuickBooks custom field VALUE located on an Invoice, and pass it to the next action.We don’t see any Custom Field values.  We only see the ID, Name, and Type.We’re looking for “Custom Field String Value” but we don’t see it in the listSee screenshot below

Hi Everyone! I am a real novice here, but I am curious if any of you know how I could integrate my clickfunnel order form with my s2member account. I was hoping to be able to have people subscribe through stripe on clickfunnels and have s2member receive the data and create a new user. I am happy to hire someone to do the heavy lifting, I am just not sure if it is even possible, and what I exactly I should be asking for. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Hey,I’m attempting to build a zap that captures the email of a client who purchases a product, and then place them into the relevant segment in Flodesk. There are two products and two corresponding segments. When the Zap is triggered, the clients email is being placed into both segments regardless.I’ve attempted creating another funnel in Clickfunnels to separate the products completely and had the same result. So I then changed the name of one of the segments in Flodesk and this still didn't solve the issue? 

One of our clients uses Double the Donation to capture matching gift information from their donors. We’re currently integrating Double the Donation with Salesforce, but not all matching gift company information is flowing through to Salesforce due to some other platform limitations. Is it possible to add Double the Donation as an app on Zapier so we can automate how company matching information gets moved to Salesforce? website: https://doublethedonation.com/

I’m having some issues with the email parser consistently processing emails from TheKnot.com.  Some of the fields I’d like to capture are on a full line, and parser sometimes snags up text from the following line instead of stopping at the line’s end.  One example is the person’s full name - first and last are together on a single line.  The only delimiter is the line break.  (Of course, I understand that separating first name from last name can sometimes be a dicey proposition when people have multi-word names.) 

Hi, I’ve just come across Zapier after searching for a way of getting notifications on an Echo Show of new ebay orders. I’ve signed up and linked Zapier on Alexa Skills and tried to add a zap between the two but I can’t seem to get it to work. Not even a voice notification as I must be missing something out. Can anyone tell me if it is at all possible to get the notifications on screen but if not, just the notification by asking Alexa if there are any new ebay orders or orders for that day etc?I have got Zapier connected to my ebay account so I know that’s okay.

I work at a company that uses Zapier and Amazon SES integration to send out mass emails to employees. About four hours ago, these zaps stopped going through without explanation. We have not made any changes on our side to my knowledge.The error we are getting is as follows: Invalid type for parameter Destination.BccAddresses, value: None, type: <class 'NoneType'>, valid types: <class 'list'>, <class 'tuple'>Invalid type for parameter ReplyToAddresses, value: None, type: <class 'NoneType'>, validIt looks as though the zap is no longer accepting a blank value in the Cc/Bcc fields. If the Cc and Bcc field is filled in, the zap will go through. I’m curious to know whether anybody else is suddenly experiencing this issue, and whether the problem lies with Zapier or with Amazon SES. 

Hi there, I am new to Zapier and wanted to know. Is it possible to publish your app with only Triggers? The reason is that I only want to push information from my website to Zapier and then other web apps added in the Zap. I do not want to receive any new information (New Customer, etc) from other web apps yet.Unless I totally misunderstood what an Action is for. Because I understand it as.Triggers - push information to Zapier to be used by another web app (push new customer information)Action - receive information from Zapier that was pushed by the Triggered App (my app in this case to do something with that data - create a new row in google sheet with the customer) Sorry if I missed the information in the documentation. It seems that I do need an Action (to push data to my API to store the information) but I am not sure. Thanks in advance.
