Slack Automation for company accounts
I am using Slack and Typeform. I would like to zap the Typeform link when someone mentions a certain word(s) or uses a specific emojiin Slack, however Typeform can only be used as a trigger. Is there a way to use Slack as the Trigger for a company account(not my personal account) and trigger a url to the user/channel that created the mention or emoji?
Email templates with conditional content from Airtable.
Hi, I have created a zap using Gmail and Airtable. The email gets sent to my print vendor and is triggered from a view in Airtable that is named “Send To Print”. Most orders have 1 item that is going to print, but some have items that we call “Add Ons”. They basically accompany the primary print piece. My question is: Can I customize the email template, so that it will list “Add On” items, only if there are any? If not, the entire section (outlined in red below) would be left out of the email. Or, only the item that had a quantity filled in, would be sent in the email. I’ve attached screenshots of the email, the zap as it currently is, and a record in Airtable. I hope this makes sense. Zapier not sending API requests to Get Response
I'm using Unbounce (landing page builder), which is connected to Get Response via Zapier. Everything appears to be connected and operating properly (Test via Zapier says successful). All fields are recognized from unbounce and the Get Response API is pulling the correct account and list from Get Response during the setup. However, anytime I test, I don't see the new lead appear in the list. I reached out to Get Response and sent a test through with them. They said they’re not seeing any API requests from my API key. This is frustrating because it was working last week with my tests.
Updated Field on Salesforce Record issue
Twice since I switched to the new Salesforce integration, one of my Zaps, whose trigger event is ‘Updated Field on Record’, has done a mass processing of Projects that were marked as Completed a long time ago. I awoke to an email from Zapier saying > We're reaching out to let you know that we're holding 101 Tasks for your Zap: "SF-Complete status triggers celebration to Slack finish line 1.0.1". Of course, nobody went in last night and marked 101 Projects as Completed. So, what’s causing this? Given that this is the 2nd time this has happened, I’m concerned that the new Salesforce integration which triggers on an updated record field isn't working properly. Or, could it be, dare I say it, operator error? Nah, couldn’t be that. :) Curious if this is working fine for everyone else? It’s a shame since being able to trigger on an updated field on record is something I had wanted to do for a long time. Now, I’m considering approaching my zaps w/o this ability due to the grief it is caus
Transferring ownership of zap to another user results in catch webhook url being updated - why?
Hi folks, I created a zap where the trigger step is a catch hook (i.e. a webhook that catches data from a post request). The trigger step is the default zapier webhook app. In this app, I am given a generated Custom Webhook URL. I tested the app and all works as expected. I then transferred ownership of the app to another team member. Interestingly the generated Custom Webhook URL changed as a result of transferring ownership, with no warning. As a result, the zap was no longer ‘catching’ posts meant for the zap, as they were posting to the old URL. To fix the issue, I had to update any post requests to the new URL. Has anyone had a similar experience? I found this change confusing. There were no warnings to this effect when transferring ownership nor were there any error messages when the transfer took place, which meant the zap was not triggering and the process that depended on it was silently failing. Custom Fields not available?
Hey, I’m using the lookup option in the zapier utilities in order to convert values to a readable format for my destination app. But when I go to enter that converted value in a different step then the only option available to pull in is the actual lookup key, which contains only the one sample value, not the converted value, so the format is correct, its just not the right value. I can’t see how I can add the custom value to a field in the step. Help appreciated Mark
Send record from airtable through zap, not just notification.
I set a Zap to notify my team when a new record shows up in a view on airtable. Is there any way to set up the Zap to send the record? Right now everyone gets a notification and then they have to open airtable and find the record. It would be great just to have the information in the email.
Google Sheet to Shopify Data Updates
I’m attempting to create a Zap to Update products in Shopify from new updates in Google Sheet rows. The first 2 steps test perfectly but every time I get to the last step, I get the error message below. I’ve tried several configurations but can’t figure out my error, the image below is what I think is correct but still getting the error. Hopefully someone can help out.

Zap Zoom - Vimeo, mp4 does not arrive on Vimeo, just the unconverted file
Hello, I connected Zoom and Vimeo but always the mp4 doesn’t get through (even if it is chosen), only the unconverted file obviously which of course cannot be opened in Vimeo then. My assistent and 2 colleagues have the same problem. What goes wrong with that, can anybody help? Thank you !
Zapier disconnecting from Salesforce
I am connecting Zapier to Salesforce, and after a few hours or by the next day it will disconnect. This is our 1st Zapier setup. Per your help, I have made sure we only have less than 5 oAuth user’s. As an example when I come in the next morning and log into Zapier, select “Test” to check the connection, it will say “ Not working”, and I can select the “see details” and get this picture as seen below - and I have double check to make sure all are this are done. By the way, I have the Zap set to “Off” as I am still working on this, but haven’t been able to complete it 100% because the next day it is no longer connected. Any help is appreciated, and here is the error picture:
Errors when sending Pardot emails
We're having an issue with sending emails via the Pardot API component. We receive the following error messages (not sure why different errors, but I've seen both): Error parsing response. We got: "<html><body><h1>400 Bad request</h1> Error parsing response. We got: "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> The issue seems to relate to the size of the value in the html_content variable (this is the body of the email we’re trying to send.) Short messages (less than 8k characters) work, while anything longer fails. I've used the Pardot API via CURL on the command line and have not had any errors, despite using the same variables and/or much larger messages. Anyone have any ideas to work around this?
Uploading more than one file into GoogleDrive using one Trigger
Dear Community, I try to automate a file(s) upload to a given GoogleDrive folder. My trigger (Google-Sheets from a existing Survey) only delivers all file-URLs in one cell, seperated by commas. I know that the GoogleDrive-App only uploads one file at a time and turns any other thing, including a list of more URLs into a list. Does anyone have an idea for a clever workaround? Maybe triggering the list to be broken up into single entrys and then downloaded one after another? Or something else? Since there is no way to edit the format I’m getting the data any help would be very appriciated! Thanks a lot :-)

Canceling a subscription in Stripe
Here’s my Zap. I need to enter a step between 2 and 3 that cancels a user’s subscription in Stripe. However, I don’t see a trigger in Strip to do this. When I add Stripe, I see that I can, “Update User,” and that there’s a metadata field that I could possibly use to do that, but if that’s the right way to do it, I’m not sure what to actually put in those fields. There’s probably a better way to do this anyway. MORE DETAILS: The subscription in Stripe is created through Thinkific where they access course information. Along with the course comes access to our community in Mighty Networks. However, instead of going back to Thinkific to cancel their subscription, sometimes users just close their account our Mighty Networks community thinking that will end their subscription. We’re setting up this Zap to ensure that happens. The problem is, unenrolling from a course in Thinkific doesn’t end their subscription in Stripe. People will close their account in Mighty Networks and be unenrolled fr

Hi, Is it possible to create a Zap that takes a Stripe transaction and then creates a payment in an existing Quickbooks client? I can only seem to setup the zap for one specific client or new client. This Zap would need to do a client lookup, from the Stripe Transaction Client Information, before creating the payment in Quickbooks. Any advice?
Zap failed when integrating Zoom
Hey I’m running a webinar through Zoom and collecting leads for the webinar through Facebook Lead Forms and Eventbrite. I’ve tried to zap leads from both platforms to create a new registrant on Zoom but keep or getting this error: I’ve followed the troubleshooting steps but there is nothing I can change. I’ve also “retested” the connection to Zoom and it is fine. Any ideas? Cheers Aashay
Duplicating Shopify Orders to Infusionsoft
Hi, Has anyone been able to use Zapier to create orders in Infusionsoft that duplicate the orders placed in Shopify? I use Infusionsoft’s orders pretty much just to track what each customer has ordered, so I would need each order placed in Shopify (including all the line items and prices) to be recreated in Infusionsoft, associated with the same contact. Contacts usually already exist in Shopify and Infusionsoft, so they can be matched by email address. Most (if not all) products also exist in Infusionsoft AND shopify. Prices may not be correct in Infusionsoft though, so they should be taken from Shopify. Can this be done? I cam using the “New paid order” action from Shopify, and the “Create Order” action in Infusionsoft, but can’t quite make sense of the available options in the Infusionsoft action. Thanks, Markus
