Hi there, Just started learning zapier and spend 4 hours solving the problem I explained in the title.Briefly,I have a spreadsheet collecting data from emails(name,email,when was email sent and the message itself). I wanted to create a small database creating another spreadsheet and copying UNIQUE e-mails from the first spreadsheet. I did not find the answer,so I tried different options. My logic was Create Spreadsheet Row → LookUp Spreadsheet(the one with existing data,for the data I need) ->Create A new Spreadsheet Row. The correct one is to use lookup spreadsheet row function for the blank spreadsheet. But what is the logic behind it? How should I know that I have to put the blank spreadsheet in the spreadsheet field? And how should I know if it is going to copy UNIQUE data? Are there any guides on this? It is some twisted logic as if I am asking someone to look for some stuff from two boxes,one of them is full and the other one is empty. They come up to the boxes and start sear
I’m wanting to Zap any new records created in Makeswift to be moved into Airtable. However, when I go to map the Makeswift fields to Airtable, it’s only letting me pull the data from the test record that was used. See screenshot belowWhen I insert a new record into Makeswift, the integration doesn’t pass anything into Airtable. There’s also no record of a new Makeswift record being created and kicking off the Zap.
Hello Zapier team, I have already found 2 topics in this forum discussing whether all custom fields from Meistertask can be transferred to Zapier. It’s 2 years ago now. Meistertask allows for this completely, but on your end, there is only the possibility to transfer a single custom field. Will it be possible to transfer all custom fields in the future? Thank you!

Hello alli thinks it’s a noob question here. i am having some issues with the configuration of Zap between Facebook Lead Ads to Salesforce.There are fields already determined in SF that need just to be matched (Energy Sources: Gas, Oil etc..). But instead of taking the response from FB and matching them. Zapier just will overwrite them instead, see attached screenshot. Thanks in advance for the help

Hello,I am creating a zap between Award Force and Salesforce platforms for my client.We have the "View Applicant PDF" option in Award Force and would like to have the PDF docs in Salesforce attached to related applications in Salesforce. Applications is a custom object in our Salesforce system.But unfortunately, I can't see "applicant PDF" option in Zapier, only a list of fields. Could you help me with this , please?And in my case, should I use the "Create Attachment" or "Create File" action?Thank you.

Hello all, I'm making a zap where a new Calendly appointment triggers a new row in Baserow. The zap works fine, until I also try to use it to pre-fill info in a multiple choice column in Baserow. For example, the screenshot below shows the “Next steps” column in my Baserow. Zapier correctly shows the options that are already in there, but whenever I actually choose one, the test of the zap gives a 400 error with “The app returned "The provided select option value '392141' is not a valid select option."Does anyone know where I should start looking for the problem? There a few concerns about zapier performance here and there on the forum and community managers politely respond that “team was notified”. I want to share my experience. Things are way beyond “everything is slow” and more in “I am not sure it is working”.I am a paying customer and I am starting to think I should do my automations in Airtable as much as I can, because Zapier is not just slow, it is flaky. Here is a loom, note all the errors in the console.
I want Facebook Lead Ads data to be connected to a spreadsheet (easy to set up), however, I want that data to connect with already prefilled in columns in that spreadsheet.Columns A, B and C are being collected out of the Facebook Lead Ads data. But Column D is already in place with coupon codes. Normally, Zapier will put the Lead Ads data in the first empty row available (meaning: the first row were Column D is empty). However, I want Zapier to put the Lead Ads data in the first rows that are empty for Column A. This way, the Lead Ads data will be put in the same row as a discount coupon in Column D.So, again: I know I should use the Lookup function in Zapier but I don't know how to set it up the right way. We have multiple pre-created groups in Google Contacts, while we need to find the way create a new contact and add it to relevant Group in Google Contacts. Say we have 10 different groups, how to arrange all that?I’ve tried “PATHS”, though can not really figure out how many “Path rules” to create Rules setup & testing - how to define those rules Do I have to create one “Path” with as many “only continue if...”-rules as many groups we have? I have several recurring/repeating projects that have multiple parts that I need to track. For example, I coordinate several public events per month. Each event has multiple tasks - confirm speakers, post the event to our website, sent out an invitation to our mailing list, etc.Currently, the way we handle this is in a google spreadsheet. Each event is one column. The tasks are the rows in the sheet. And we have formulas for each cell that calcuate the due date of each task based on the event date.
