Google Sheets: The read operation timed out.

I am getting the following error quite a few times when reading from or writing to Google Sheet. I know it’s because of the total number of columns and rows that Google or Zapier can handle at a time of operation. Is there any specific/known limit of columns and rows that we should not exceed to not get this error?Thanks

Manually Trigger Zap - Button or Otherwise

Hello, I am finding myself in a situation where an automated or scheduled trigger will not accomplish what is needed for a particular workflow. What I am finding is that I need a way to have a human trigger the Zap. I am not aware of the different interfaces Zapier has in this regard. I know I can use Zapier email to have the human send an message to trigger the Zap, but I was looking for something a bit more simple. Either a web addon button or something to that effect. Thank you so much kind people. I hope you have a wonderful week.

As a couple of folks were asking about this in another post, I thought it would be a good idea to start a new post to talk about how apps are added to Zapier's integrations. @AndrewJDavison_Luhhu asked:I've always been curious. What's the criteria where Zapier will step in a built an integration themselves? Is it where an app gets so successful, but efforts to encourage the app to build their own integration have just failed?And @ChrisP followed this up with:...it must be a nightmare for the Zapier dev team. How do I connect both a Stripe Live account and Test Account?

I have already connected my live Stripe account.But when I go to connect my test account, I can’t find an option to add my test keys.  I even accidentally created a NEW Stripe account entirely in my attempt.When I get to the “Select the account you'd like to connect to Zapier” step, I’m given only one account option.Connecting it anyway, I have verified this is my LIVE account.I have even tried connecting while logged into Stripe with “test mode” toggled.How do I get to a step that lets me add my test keys?

Calendly Zap for specific events

Hello, I Have a Calendly page with three events, one is public and the other two events are private. I use the public event for free mini-coaching calls and have it connected to Mailerlite via Zapier so that immediately after they book a session they are added to a smiling list which automatically sends them additional info about the upcoming coaching call. This works great. The problem is that the other two private events have nothing to do with a coaching session, infact one is for my podcast guests to schedule what time we’ll have our interview recording session. I don’t want them going to the mailerlite list and getting details about coaching. Is there a way to set up a Calendly zap that is specific to an event rather than my Calendly account?

Apply condition IF...ELSE in Zapier

Because there is no AND condition for searching both Lead and Contact in Salesforce, is there any IF...ELSE with Zapier filter that we could use. I can adjust my current workflow to use IF...ELSE as alternatives for AND condition. My goal is to check the email does not existing in Lead and Contact in order to save a new record in Salesforce; otherwise, it will cause an error in Zapier task about duplicated records.

How to remove line breaks for a JSON request?

Hi folks,   I am reading a Google sheets cell content into a custom POST request (Webhooks by Zapier). The problem is that I the input has several line breaks, which is not allowed in the JSON file. Twilio test fails “From phone number is not a valid, SMS-capable inbound phone number or short code for your account”

I setup a brand new Twilio account and bought a American phone number, when I selected the Twilio account in Zap, it shows +1832xxxxxxx correctly, but when I do the test, it gave me a error message below:The app returned "The From phone number +673371005226235533 is not a valid, SMS-capable inbound phone number or short code for your account Can somebody help >? Thank you

I’m wanting to add formatting to the email body (bold, underline, bullet lists) using the Gmail function and I want to do that using the plain text setting not the html setting.Is this possible? How do I add formatting in the email body while in plain text (as opposed to html)Note: if using markdown would work then that’s great I just don’t know if it’ll work

Webflow Substack integration??

Strategies for Parsing / Presenting Info From an XML Feed?

Hi Zapier Godz! I’m still a Zapier noob and a tech mortal. Currently, I’m working on some fun Zaps from an MMO game I play online that offers all kinds of really cool data feeds out of the game. For one, they offer XML feeds of all the towns in the game (this is a massive file,), as well as feeds for the game’s map, players, alliances, etc. Additionally, players can generate their own personal XML data feeds for their in-game notifications, combat data, etc. as you can imagine, the possibilities are limitless.   Are any good strategies for creating Zaps that leverage XML data feeds like these? I’m not a programmer, so I’m not fluent in working in this space. I’ve tried using the IMPORTXML feature in Google Sheets, but to no avail because I can’t seem to find an X_Path query that works with the game’s XML town feed. I’m also not seeing any apps in Zapier that explicitly deal with working with XML.   Any thoughts?

How to automatically assign a contact to a deal (within Hubspot)

Dear Zapier Community,I am trying to automate the automatic association of a contact to a created deal. What I have done is create two sales pipelines for which I have automatically created Deals via the Zapier integration from contacts that came in via a Hubspot form the past weeks (so existing contacts in Hubspot). The creation of these deals from the contacts (based on a contact property change) worked. But I now have the problem that none of my contacts are associated with my created deals. For context, my business does not operate with other businesses/companies but with private individuals, therefore the deal name is equal to the contacts first and last name. I have tried many versions through zapier but the issue seems to be that the automatic association from a contact to a deal cannot be resolved through the zapier options. Any idea how I can automatically assign my contacts to the created deals so I do not have to do this manually each time? Or if I may be missing an importan

The question is in the title: how can you create your own deduplication system/steps into a Zap?But first a quick primer on deduplication!There are two types of Zap trigger with Zaps:"Instant" webhook triggers give us whatever they receive at the time, with zero context. This helps them move quickly.Polling triggers run less often, but save the most recent version of whatever information they received. The next time the Zap checks for new information, it can check against the previous version to see if that info's been sent already, if it hasn't then the Zap will trigger on that information.The list of information that the Zap has already received is called the deduplication list, because we don't want to trigger on items. You can learn more about deduplication in this help doc. Sometimes, (for various reasons) webhooks will send information is the same as previous info, and a Zap will fire twice for the same event.Can you think of any ways to create your own &

Email Format

I am using Gmail in my Zap and I have the email body looking the way I would like with spaces, bulleted lists, etc. When the email is sent through the Zap the email loses the format and runs the text/body of the email as 1 long paragraph.How do I fix this problem?Thank you!!

Redirect after webhook

I would like to send an email to a customer with a link. When the customer clicks on the link, it's sent to Zapier  via a wekhook Zapier then will do some checks and should redirect the customer to a website. I have not found a way to redirect the page from a webhook. Does anyone know if that is possible with Zapier or have any suggestions? Thanks!

Telegram integration through BotatBot

There is no Telegram integration on Zapier. However, according to the Zapier website (link below) the BotAtBot integration will connect to Telegram.https://zapier.com/apps/botatbot/helpHowever, when I go digging, it requires me to create a BotAtBot account, which directs me to a website that’s arabic language and doesn't appear to be BotAtBot, but something else. Anyway, I’m wondering if anyone here has attempted a simple telegram bot integration? I’d like to send a simple notification to a specific chat group.

Creating a date stamp for today in a specific timezone.

I want to create a 'date stamp' for 'today' and have it as today in AEDT (Australia/Sydney) timezone. I've easily created the date stamp but it comes up in another (don't know which one) timezone. Easy to identify because today in Sydney is the 15th and it is outputting the 14th. I need the date stamp for a legal letter that will be generated so it is important that it is accurate. It's not simply a matter of adding a day "+1 day" because eventually when the clocks tick over from midnight from the timezone in which the server is the date output will be in the future. Also obviously not good :-) I've tried adding hours to compensate but nothing seems to work.Screenshots of the step included.Any advice much appreciated.Thanks in advance.Kind regardsPaul
