Format email body in plain text

I’m wanting to add formatting to the email body (bold, underline, bullet lists) using the Gmail function and I want to do that using the plain text setting not the html setting.Is this possible? How do I add formatting in the email body while in plain text (as opposed to html)Note: if using markdown would work then that’s great I just don’t know if it’ll work

Google drive: filename change after being uploaded

I am brand new at zapier and google apps script. I would like to change the filename that is in the google drive which was uploaded by zapier, to either remove time stamp or change the filename totally.Currently the filename is "Wed, 24 Feb 2021 23:45:46 +0000 (UTC)Peter White.pdf" I need to either remove the time stamp ending with (utc), or rename it to "240221PeterWhite"How can I achieve filename change automation?

Hi,First of all, I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.I want to know if we can set multiple triggers for one Zap?Here's the flow of my current Zap:[trigger] New row created in Google Sheets --> Create new task in AsanaHere's what I want to achieve:[trigger] New row created in Google Sheets --> Create new task in Asana --> Send email on Gmail --> [trigger] When the Asana task is completed --> Reply the Gmail threadI know i can set up 2 Zaps, however by doing so, I'll won't be able to use data from the Google Sheets.Thanks!

How to split comma separated text into additional line items using line itemizer?

Hello! I am collecting registration data through Eventzilla and trying to use Zapier to separate the registration answers that come in as a string of text into line items. Using a comma as a separator works fine until a registrant uses a comma within one of their registration answers (within an individual field). This inherently creates additional items within the output which throws things off. It is not an option to change the registration questions within Eventzilla to be multiple choice, dropdown, etc.-- it needs to be a text box.I read through some of the articles and tried replacing the comma with a semi-colon via Formatter > Text > Replace yet that method replaces the commas within the registrant’s answers with semi-colons as well, not just the commas separating the answers.Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Epos Now to Shopify Line Items

Good morning,   I am new to Zapier but I believe it’s got the potential to perform the action that I’m looking for   Our till system uses Epos Now and our website uses Shopify. We want our orders from Epos Now to go to the Shopify Platform as that is where we control our inventory from as it has a better range of user-friendly tools.   I’ve tried created a Zap for a new order but cannot fathom as to how to get Line Items to appear in that order. Searching this forum further I note the suggestion that I create a Google Spreadsheet with Products from both listed to create a lookup? Is that correct?   If somebody has the time to offer me a steer on how to achieve this then that would be great   Many thanks   JJ

Hi, My Twilio Sendgrid accounts were expired so I had to reconnect. But i Keep on getting the following error: We hit an error adding your new accountauthentication failed: The app returned "Not Acceptable".How do I solve this? Both of my Twilio accounts were removed from Zapier. Is there also a way to get them back as there were many email templates in there. What to do?

Extract column data from Monday.com field

My goal: Zap data from Monday.com to a Google Sheet when a new entry is added to a specific board on Monday.My problem: Although I have identical columns in Google Sheet as I do on the Monday board (and data seems to be flowing between them), the columnular data from Monday seems to be arriving as a key:value pair (almost like JSON). Is there any way to extract this into separate fields for the Sheet? In the screenshot (which I've tried to remove any identifiable info from), you can see that the Name field maps well, but as soon as we get to the next Sheet field ("Google Ads ID"), I basically get all of the rest of the data as one field called "Column Values". Is this just an issue with Monday.com's API or is there something I can do to further extract that data?Thanks in advance!

How to automatically assign a contact to a deal (within Hubspot)

Dear Zapier Community,I am trying to automate the automatic association of a contact to a created deal. What I have done is create two sales pipelines for which I have automatically created Deals via the Zapier integration from contacts that came in via a Hubspot form the past weeks (so existing contacts in Hubspot). The creation of these deals from the contacts (based on a contact property change) worked. But I now have the problem that none of my contacts are associated with my created deals. For context, my business does not operate with other businesses/companies but with private individuals, therefore the deal name is equal to the contacts first and last name. I have tried many versions through zapier but the issue seems to be that the automatic association from a contact to a deal cannot be resolved through the zapier options. Any idea how I can automatically assign my contacts to the created deals so I do not have to do this manually each time? Or if I may be missing an importan

Discord has a relative time/date formatting feature using unix timestamps, formatted like <t:1701710520> here’s a website that helps generate a few examples: https://discordtimestamp.com/It’s super useful for our remote team, as anything using it shows in the recipient’s timezone. Is there any way to format time from a different node in zapier using this?

Hi, I’m using Zapier to fil various variables into an automated email. in the email I want to send, I have a generated URL payment link ie (http//:secure.stripepaynow.com) - (The input) I want to convert the link (the input) into a ‘hyperlink text’ ‘Pay Now’ - (The output)The text needs to still be a a clickable hyperlink to the input URL. any ideas?

HI thereI am totally stumped. I keep getting this error. Automation: Create a Deal when a jotform submission is completeProblem: Contact ID - Contact Does Not Exist.Already created an automation prior to this to create a contact when the form is submitted, but am unsure what to put for Contact ID Field. Pulling the Contact Name from Jotform (which exists in AC due to first automation) keeps giving error that contact does not exist?

How to copy messages and their replies over to another Slack channel correctly?

I have a channel X in workspace A connected with channel Y in workspace B. I have an automation that messages posted to channel X are copied to channel Y. That works. Also replies to a message in channel X are  posted to channel Y. So far so good. But the replies in channel X are shown as new messages in channel Y, I would like that they are shown as replies in the thread of the message instead. Is that possible? I do not want to use Connections in Slack.This is how it looks like in channel Y: This is how it should look like in channel Y:

Does anybody here have experience with C#.NET with Zapier?

Hello Zapier community! My name is Bob and I'm new to Zapier and extremely excited to have created my first zaps. I have to say- I'm loving what Zapier is all about.What I am wondering is not so specific, more of a 'seeking general input' matter. If anybody here has 2 cents to share on anything I'm working on, I'd be thrilled to hear it.I have a strong background in MySQL, I'm a 'Junior level' C# developer and I've been working on a sort of CRM/Inventory Management program for my business.I was blown away to be able to integrate my MySQL database with Slack within minutes of signing up. Here is what I'm hoping to learn about, or even just discuss. 1) I can easily create C# apps that push data to MySQL which then triggers a zap when it detects a new row in my database. I am wondering if there are any fellow C# developers here that are using Zapier in conjunction with C# apps. I know that Zapier has JavaScript and Python integration

Running Zap Manually

Hi All, The Zap that I am enquiring about here is triggered with a DocuSign completed envelope.I know that this app only triggers zaps every 15 min which is fine, however, is it normal that even when running the zap manually, I still have to wait 15 min?What I find ‘surprising’ is that when creating the zap itself, I had to use some ‘form data’ and had to send a couple of different envelopes one after the other as the test data from the first couple of envelopes wasn’t correct. My point is that Zapier was able to pick up the new envelopes sent during when it came to finding test data without having to wait 15 min between each test envelope.  However when it comes to running the zap manually, I do have to wait 15 min… just trying to understand the logic here…

I am building a zap to enter fields into a form.    I only want it to trigger if the student name is not null.   Seems like  a simple question!  I thought it would be the “exists” filter, but that is coming back as true even when the student name is null.    Which criteria should I use?

How to create or update a date field without time in Notion using Zapier?

Hello,I can’t find a way to create or update a date field without the time in Notion.I tried to send a “YYYY-MM-DD” date, but Zapier automatically format it to ISO Datetime (with time set to 00:00:00.000).Data received by Notion is correctly understood, but it changes the display of the value in my table - even if my setting in Notion says not to include time.For what I understand, the problem could be solved if Zapier was sending the date without any time.I tried Zapier date formatter and other javascript solutions, all the time it gets converted back to an ISO Datetime at the request level.Last solution would be to build the whole API request myself, but I thought it would help others if it was possible simply through Notion Integration ?

I'm looking at parsing out just the most recent reply/message from an email thread as part of a zap. I've found this link but how to I use it within a Zap? https://github.com/zapier/email-reply-parser i.e. when I pick up a thread from gmail how do I just extract the most recent message? Is this possible in Code by Zapier and if so how? E.g. Input: Yes that is fine, I will email you in the morning.
