Can I delete unused variables in Storage when they haven't been accessed for a specific time?

Hi guys. I use “Storage” for variables every day.  Been using it for years now.What surprises me is a basic tool to maintain (ie, clean up) junk variables and their contents in “storage” still hasn’t appeared (at least that I can find, the search for this forum isn’t great!).For example, there’s been a handful of times I mistyped a variable name while developing years ago, and viola, those variables still reside in storage today.  No easy way to just purge them!  Instead, every time I pull data from variables in Storage, I loathe seeing those old mistypes there, and for some, I grab the wrong one because they were just one character off from the “right” variable (the one with real data).So - not only is the junk in Storage annoying, it’s actually causing me problems.And it appears the only way I can get rid of the content of variables stuck in Storage is to write a zap I’ll run one time.  And STILL I do NOT know the Storage command to DELETE entire variables and their contents if I do

How do I disable versioning for my apps when a new version is created?

Hi folks.  The versioning feature is great for those who want it, but I never wanted it and it’s causing me a lot of lost time and confusion.  AFAIK I have no need for it, and would like to turn it OFF.  If not for my entire profile, then at LEAST for each app individually. Is this possible now?  Or do I pray for a feature change someday. If anyone empowered in the company is reading this, please consider my current active version of all my Zaps to be the desired active (and only!) version, and please turn off versioning on my account.  Thank you! Marc

How to 'push' Slack messages with a link to each message?

Hi there, I manage a non-profit community and we have a free Zapier account. I like to create a weekly round up of the posts in Slack (easier to catch up for those not visiting every day) so I set up a Slack to Google Doc push, so all posts I want to share are in one place and I can copy-paste them into Slack and include a link to that post.  The only thing I haven't figured out is how to include a permalink to the each message in the push because I'm currently copy/pasting them individually and it's time-consuming. At the moment when I click Push to Zapier, I get the following show up in Docs @Member posted "Can anyone recommend a good graphic designer for children's charity?" in #asks And I'd like something along the lines of  @Member posted "Can anyone recommend a good graphic designer for children's charity?" in #asks Or @Member posted "Can anyone recommend a good graphic designer for children's charity?" in #asksLink: www.slackpermalinktomessage.com Thank you!

How do I save a file from a URL to Google Drive when a new URL is provided?

Hi Guys, I am new to Zapier. I am trying to download a file from a url and save it with a specific name in my google drive. For some reason I cannot seem to find a straightforward way to do so.Some of the URLs trigger a download like http://71.172.45.51/datav2 and some are to a file like http://inventory.jovani.com/wip.csv  , https://benjamin-walk.com/download/bwinventory.xlsxIn make.com I can use an http get a file trigger and save the files to my google drive. I cannot find the equivalent action in Zapier.  Thank You

Constant Contact - Find or Create Contact in Constant Contact

Hi, I’m creating a zap where I want to update a contact or create a new contact but only for a particular list in Constant Contact.I have an initial zap that ads new leads to my list but errors if they fill out the form again with updated info.Our account has many lists and I don’t want to touch other lists. If I create a zap using Find or Create Contact in Constant Contact can you limit the finding to a particular list in Constant Contact? If so, how? Thank you.

Reconnect an expired account with Zapier Manager?

I using the LinkedIn Ads app to trigger on New Lead Gen Form Responses. The LinkedIn Ads app requires that the account connection be reconnected every so often to satisfy their authentication policy. In the account manager I can see that the account is expired when this happens and needs to be reconnected. Unfortunately, when the account expires my Zap stops working and no errors are thrown. It effectively fails silently, so I have to monitor the account connection manually. Is there a way to use the Zapier Manager app to periodically reconnect my Zapier LinkedIn account nightly so I don’t have to check it regularly and reconnect it manually when the connection expires?Thank you!

Square orders created through WooCommerce: missing product data only shows as Order Paid with no other information

I created an order in Square using a zap, the connection is through Woo-commerce. When the order comes in, it is missing all of the product details that I included in the metadata.  The client needs this to work so all meta gets sent over for their sandwich ordering, but right now all it shows up as is “Order Paid” but no other information is being sent over. Sending two pictures to show the difference in orders.

Text-davinci-003 Prompting Issue

Hey guys! I’m creating a chatbot through Zapier. What I believe to be the final problem is prompting the OpenAI API to make it act as a certain persona. I watched some videos on YouTube and I feel like I have a good understanding of what to tell the AI to make it more specific and to make it act as what I want.  In fact the prompt I’ve created works perfectly in the OpenAI playground. The problem is the playground uses GPT 3.5, while OpenAI API still uses text-davinci-003. When I give davinci the prompt it doesn’t work as well, actually there’s a lot of issues. It looks like (and it makes sense to me) davinci is significantly less smart that GPT 3.5. I’ve been trying to tweak the prompt here and there to make it more clear to a “dumber” AI, but I’m struggling quite a bit. Do you guys have any idea if GPT 3.5 will soon be integrated in the API so that I can use that? Or do you have some suggestions to improve the prompts for text-davinci-003? Thanks everyone, Alex

How to update an existing prospect in Pardot from LinkedIn Lead Gen Ads, or create a new Prospect if one doesn't exist?

I’ve been playing around with a zap that will create or update prospects in Pardot for me.  The Trigger is: New Lead Gen Form Response in LinkedIn AdsAction: Find Prospect in Pardot (maps back to email from LinkedIn), and create new Pardot prospect if it doesn’t exist yet (mapping all relevant fields back from LinkedIn to Pardot, including Lead Source, etc.) I’m unsure what the first action is doing though - will it update the prospect if it does find it, and create a new one if it doesn’t? Or will it just check if there is one, and if not, create one? Would love to be able to update the prospect for the customer journey + multi touch attribution, if possible. Thanks!

How do I update a Person record in Scoro when the First and Last Name are required?

Hi all,I'd like to update some Person record information to match their corresponding Company in Scoro (our CRM), whenever a Company is added or updated. The information I want to update is a namely a Category custom field we have against the company, I’d like the Person category record to always match the company category.I have my Trigger set up as New or Updated Company.I have then set my Action as Create or Update Person.However when looking to update the Person record with information from the Company Record, Zapier requires you to update the First and Last Name of the Person, but I don’t want these to change and there appears to be no way to pull through the existing First and Last Name of the Person…Any ideas how I can acheive what I need? Thanks in advance :)

Use Google login info from Bubble app to populate Google Slides presentation

I have created an App in Bubble.io and used Zapier to post information to google slides. The Zap works well however the template for the slide is saved in my google drive. As it is for an App I would like the user to log in to the app using google login (which I have set up) and then when they use use the zap it takes the login information and creates a new presentation from template in their google drive.  I guess the user would need to copy the template into their Drive first? Does anyone have any ideas?

New Payment in Xero, Match reference number to a ticket in HubSpot and Update ticket property

Hello everyone, I hope you can help. I’ve been trying to create a zap for quite some time now but I can’t seem to get the expected results. We’re trying to save time for our team in checking if the payment has been made for a particular invoice. What we would like to achieve is when a new payment is reflected in our Xero account, Zapier will then grab the reference number and look for a HubSpot ticket property that matches this. Next, Zapier will then update another ticket property inside that same ticket with a simple “Yes”. (inside a dropdown list). Is this possible? If yes, I’d really appreciate it if you could show me how or if you know a related article or post about this.  Thank you!

How can I Add Trigger Event in Pagerduty

Im setting up a zap where any new tickets generated in zendesk will trigger an alert in pagerduty. I was able to set up zendesk trigger end but when i go to pagerduty action part i’m stuck at Integration Key Field and so onwhen i choose the value it’s not giving me anything but in custom mode bunch of fragments of testing ticket content  coming up. same for incident key, source URL, source Name. could  someone please explain what those fields are meant for. Do i need to set up anything from pagerduty end? I’ve already created a service in pd and not sure what integration to add there. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

DEAR/Cin7 Core + Shopify Plus Integration for Incoming Inventory (POs)

Hi Community--Hope you might be able to help: Our team uses DEAR (now Cin7 Core) for stock purchases/inventory & Shopify for sales. We are looking to integrate incoming stock between DEAR and Shopify. For items 'On Order' in DEAR, we would like the PO, quantity, and x factory date to be relayed into Shopify (perhaps in the 'incoming' quantity section?). If there is stock on order and a product sells out, we will check the variant policy to 'continue selling when out of stock' in Shopify and add an 'available to ship' date to the product page (~7 days from the DEAR x-factory date). Once inventory is received, the 'available to ship' date is removed and the variant policy is reverted to stop selling when out of stock. Is this something Zapier can do? Does anyone have any experience using Zapier for Dear/Cin7 & Shopify integration? Please advise.Thank you :)

Hi all!I'm building a simple workflow from Kajabi into our CRM, Attio, to capture new students in a list:I want to add a filter after step 1, that halts the process if a user has not opted into email marketing in Kajabi.The Kajabi contacts database includes an “Email Marketing” field with this status, but it’s not available in their Zapier triggers.Is there any way to work around this limitation and get that status field? Big thanks in advance!

How do I add multiple attendees to Wealthbox when a Calendly event is scheduled?

When something is scheduled on calendly it sends info (names and emails) for the hosts, my team.  Zapier then passes only the first attendee to wealthbox.  I’d like it to pass both attendee’s so they are both added to the event, rather than duplicate events.  Is that possible?

Hi, I'm trying to create an automation via ZAPIER for all the paid memberships, so that the email address from Ghost gets added to a sequence in Convertkit. However, I don't see the option to trigger an action whenever someone becomes a paid member on Ghost. Stop separating by comma

I have a race/ethnicity value from an iteration of Salesforce that I am not an admin for (read--I can’t change the field).   The actual field value is “Hispanic-Mexican,MexicanAmerican,Chicano” We are moving this data into a different Salesforce iteration where I am the admin.  However, when I move the data over, I keep getting an error for any contact that has the “Hispanic-Mexican,MexicanAmerican,Chicano” value selected because Zapier is separating it by the commas.    How do I tell Zapier to NOT separate this value?   If I need to do something with formatter, I have zero coding experience and will need some extra guidance there.

Reverse Triggering with Zapier Bot from Slack

Hey All, I have Zap which checks every X days if specific column is “No”If it’s “No” it copies the whole row and sends slack message to user (PM) from spreadsheet. My question is, is it possible reverse way to trigger.What I mean is, if user replies to Bot with text, is it possible to notify me or update row in spreadsheet Currently slack integration supports message to groups or specific people. But since Bot is not something I can select, I am kind of stuck I also added screenshot of current ZapAny ideas? Thanks in advance Note: I can trigger messages from my account and not as Bot, but it will cause mess. Because it will catch also the messages that people writing me spontaneously.
