Error: Failed to create a task in Asana, The app returned Console logs: ` as error, which we cannot read.

Hi all! I’m trying to build a Zap that will automatically update information in tasks in Asana for my team when a change is made in JIRA. However, I keep running into errors similar to this example when testing: Failed to create a task in AsanaThe app returned `{"message":"task: Not a Long: Report - create greg's sales reports "} What happened: Executing creates.update_task.operation.perform with bundle {"message":"task: Not a Long: Report - create greg's sales reports "} Console logs: ` as error, which we cannot read. Everything on the JIRA side is testing out fine. On that note - does anyone know a best practice for updating JIRA statuses in Asana? I was able to pull them in to the creation of new tasks on a Zap that worked, however for updating existing tasks I don’t even see an option to update the JIRA Status field that I’ve created in Asana. Thanks in advance!

Trouble with Zapier Detecting Gmail Data

Please remember that this is a public forum and to remove any sensitive information prior to posting.I am attempting to have Zapier import lead data from an e-mail in Gmail to Follow Up Boss. Here is a screenshot of the e-mail in Gmail:  I have gotten through creating the Zap trigger, it found the e-mail. I am having trouble with Zapier then detecting the individual lead details (name, phone number, email, etc.). When it finds the email and I get to the data point drop down menu, it finds a bunch of code, and detects the full “body” of the email as one data point. So it is not able to pull name, phone, email, etc. (see screenshot)   If I select what is highlighted in red, it will input all of that information as “First Name” rather than finding the first name in that text and moving on. That messes everything up. My guess is, the drop down menu should be able to detect as separate choices: First Name, Last Name, E

Creating a Zap from LeadPops to Jungo to go in to a specific lead bucket

I have created a Zap and tested it.  The lead does move from LeadPops to Jungo.  The issue is that I can see it as a lead, but it doesn’t go into the LeadPops bucket and I cannot readily see it as a contact.  I have to search for the lead to be able to see it.Anyone else have this issue?  Know how to remediate?

Editing is very slow

I am editing my Zap on a Windows machine with a solid internet connection.  I have about 180 download speed and over 200 upload speed.  I am using the Brave browser.As I edit my Zap, when I make a change to any field, it takes an inordinate amount of time for the system to let me edit the next field.  A couple of times it has even timed out and I had to reload the page.All other web sites are loading with no affect to their speed.  I have not had this issue in the past.Is there anything you can think of that might be slowing down the system?

Zapier Limited Calendar shared access?

I currently have 14 Calendars being shared to me with READ,CREATE,EDIT permissions. I’m trying to create a zap that will automatically create events for each of the calendars being shared with me if they meet certain criteria.  But when setting up my action it’s only showing the most I saw was 8 calendars the rest wont show-up. I tried removing some of the calendars shared by me then some starts to show-up but the one I replaced I can no longer get back unless I remove another one?  In the Sample below GHA Cloisters email calendar was not showing until I deleted GHA Alameda. It’s like it has a limit on showing how many calendars? I don’t understand I’ve reached out to the support team and they say it’s supposed to be unlimited.

Can't Attach to Yammer

The title should be CAN’T Attach to Yammer I am new to Zapier and am trying to make a connection between Loomy and Yammer.  When i make the Zap all goes well until I get to Yammer.  I add it and click Sign In.  It takes me to my company’s O365 login and I make it through all of those steps successfully, then I get an error message (attached).   I’ve tried clearing my cache and cookies.  I’ve used an incognito browser.  I’ve tried Chrome and Safari.  I’ve tried connecting to another MS product, Outlook and it worked.  Does anyone have any ideas as to why I can’t get the connection made?

Upload Video action errors if Privacy Setting is not selected

This post was split from the topic: Error: Failed to create an upload video in YouTube, due to spam, video uploads are limited for non-paying accounts. Not sure if this is the right thread, but it seems that “privacy setting” is a required field actually (People at Zapier might want to fix that)It took me a few hours to figure this out...Also you don’t want to get stuck at the testing phase when it’s not working. Switch the zap on, go to zap history, run it manually and you’ll get more detailed information about the error (in this case you don’t even get an error message when you test it...)

Cursor has gone out of bounds Updating Google Sheet.

Hello I am trying to create a Zap that will do the following. When we get a new Patron on Patreon they are added to a Google Sheet. Then once they cancel their pledge we update the sheet COL of active to NO. I am able to get the first part of this working just fine. But I am having issues on the update column portion.   1. I am able to setup the lookup step just fine and all the data is visible.   Next step I use the ID value that’s looked up in the spreadsheet from the previous step.   Then I update the sheet with all of the same data except I change the Active column to NO.      This is where the issue comes in, when I run the test it comes back with Cursor Out Of Bounds. I am not sure how to resolve this. Any insight would be great.

Hi guys, when connecting Notion to create a database item containing data from chatgpt (openai) I only receive half of the chatgpt content. Around 200 char. Keep getting an error that says “The requested conversion is not supported.” when trying to test a Zap that is supposed to create a Google doc from a Google form submission. Cannot figure out what the issue is. Anyone have any ideas?

The Zap I created is taking wrong time as input in formatter step. I.E., If the time is 6:44 PM, the input being taken is 6:52 AM. I have checked Zapier timezone settings, still now working.

Having trouble finding a Google docs template in zapier

Hi,I’ll start by saying that I saw several answers about this issue in the Zapier community, alas my problem has not been solved yet. I’m trying to zap a Google Forms file with a Templated Google Docs file.I’m using a team G-suite.and I’m certain that I created the template file correctly, Nonetheless - when I’m about to locate my file I have no results to choose from: and if I’m adding a Search Step, and looking for the folder in which the template file is located in, in the section of the Document Name (in which, I figure, that I’m suppose to insert the template name) instead of having normal options, I’m getting a dropdown with the trigger columns, like this: That’s very odd, and at this point I don’t really know if I’m doing anything wrong. The solutions I read in the Zapier community that I tried so far with no help at all:Moving the temp file to the general root folder or a sub-folder - neither worked. Unable to link Airtable with Discord!

Hello Community, happy holidays!  I wanted to ask you all for a quick support. I wanted my Zap to assign a role to a new discord user, when they fill out a form on Airtable. I have linked both my accounts, however, I’m unable to proceed through this section, as the username field is taking the Airtable ID, and not the column that has the Discord username. Could someone help?
