Hi @will2,
Welcome to the Community.
If your Zap isn't detecting new entries in Google Sheets when turned on, it could be due to a few common issues. First, ensure your trigger is set to "New Spreadsheet Row" and running in real time. Test the trigger with a fresh entry after turning on the Zap, as Zapier may not recognize existing rows. Check Google Sheets permissions to confirm Zapier has access, and review any Delay or Filter steps that may be interfering. Ensure column mapping is correct in both the trigger and action steps, and verify you're using the same data entry method for testing.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.
Hi @will2
Help links for using GSheets in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/help
You will want to add a Filter as Zap step 2 to check the desired column has a value.
Check your Zap History for Zap Runs to help you troubleshoot: https://zapier.com/app/history/
I’d recommend using Airtable instead of GSheets.

Hey @will2, just checking in!
How did you get on with Jammer’s and Troy’s suggestions? Did they help point you in the right direction, or did you find a different solution?
