Reformatting Hubspot Phone Numbers Error "No properties found to update, please provide at least one."

The Zap I made appears to work as when I get new contacts with wrongly formatted phone numbers, it corrects the number and updates the record. I keep getting this error every so often “No properties found to update, please provide at least one.”

I’m not sure what the problem is.

Hi @kjac

Add a Filter as Zap step 2 to check that there is a Phone Number to use.

How does this look?

I’m still having issues, this time it’s two different issues.

The original issue still exists. I had hubspot set to look in “new contacts” and now I updated it to “recently...” because it wasn’t running, but that didn’t fix it. A new error that popped up is when a phone number extension is included. How could I address these problems?

Hi @kjac,

You can use Text in Formatter - Split Text function and use the ext. as the separator in the “Separator” field and choose the All (as Separate Fields) so you can still map the number after the ext. text just in case.

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Thank you, but in order for me to try that I have to fix the main issue which is the error with the overall zap. Any idea what I could try to fix that?

Hi @kjac,

Based on the error on your initial post, it looks like the phone number from the HubSpot trigger is empty. To stop the Zap from erroring because of the empty phone number adding a filter step for the Zap to only continue if the Phone number exists.

Hopefully, this helps.

I fixed that issue already and posted a new screen shot in my second post, but it did not solve the issue.
