I have never used Zapier before and want to use it to connect two Google spreadsheets.I work for a marketing agency that uses two spreadsheets in order to manage invoices for clients. One workbook contains multiple tabs - each tab being a different client - and tracks all of the clients’ ads along with their respective clicks, cost, impressions, etc. In the second workbook, there are multiple tabs, each tab containing an invoice.My job is this: take all of the information from the first workbook and copy and paste the cost, number of impressions, number of clicks, etc. into an invoice so that it can be given to a client. It is all “plug and chug.”Is there a way to link the two spreadsheets so that every time a number is entered into spreadsheet 1, it gets automatically plugged into the invoice in spreadsheet 2?
Hello, I would like to achieve the following.My trigger is “New Record in Airtable” and I would like to send a message to my Slack channel once a new record is recorded in my Airtable base. I’m tracking three variables for example Category, Price, Date. I want to be able to see the specific amount of times a specific category was shown for example, if G99 appeared in the Airtable base it would count 1, if G88 appeared it would count 1, if G99 appeared it would now count 2 and so on. However, I want the count to reset daily meaning everything would return to 0 after a 24h period. I want the Slack display message to look something like this…“A sale was madeCategory: G99Price: 999.00Date: 9/19/2023 Sales for current category: XX (with dynamically updating count)” Is it possible to configure a dynamically updating message to Slack from Zapier? How do I retrieve over 500 rows daily from a spreadsheet using Zapier's "Lookup spreadsheet rows" function?
We need a zap that will pull at least 600 rows from a spreadsheet on a daily basis, but the “Lookup spreadsheet rows” can only pull a maximum of 500.Is there a way to pull more? Perhaps using an additional step, or some coding?
Hey everybody. I looked at these responses - How to update an existing Todoist task when Google Calendar event is updated? but couldn’t find what I’m looking for. I’d like to be able to update or create my Todoist with the same duration as the Google calendar meeting. When I input a due date, I can only input the start date/time and haven’t figured out a way to add the duration to the Todoist task. Any help would be appreciated!
How can MailerLite collect and respond to emails collected in Google Sheets from Facebook group members?
i need help, i cant work out how to get mailerlite to collect and respond to the emails i collect in google sheets, the sheet updates when a new member enters my facebook group and enters their email. i approve the members too. There are no warning symbols on zapier and the test button gave the all clear so im totally stumped, any advise would be most welcome.
How do I automatically share the total event registrants from Splash or Salesforce with Slack or email?
Hi, has anyone who uses Splash or Salesforce Campaigns/Reports for event registrations been able to create a Zap that shares the total event registrants? I am trying to find a way to share a Zap via slack or email that sends the total event registrants for our events. Currently doing this manually, would love to be able to do this automatically using Zapier. We use Splash for events, which is also connected to Salesforce Campaigns field so through Splash and Salesforce Campaigns (and Salesforce Reports) we can see event registrants.
Hi there, I have a zap created currently between Stripe and Shipstation which creates a new order on Shipstation once a stripe checkout session is completed. I can pass a a lot of the details to Shipstation but cant seem to pass details to populate Custom Field #1 and Custom Field #2 I found this previous discussion on this topic which looks like this isn’t available yet, is there any update on when this might be implemented? I’d like to fire a Zap (to update a row in my Google sheet) every time a mailto or phonecall link is clicked on my website and the only way I can think to do that is if they are set up as Goals in GA4 and then you guys build a zap that does that for us. There is currently only a trigger that looks for NEW Conversion Events being ‘set up’. I wondered whether there may be a way around with Tag Manager and WebHooks but no luck finding anything yet. Any help would be much appreciated.

I want to automate asking GPT4 to analyse articles/research papers. The goal is to post a URL or PDF attachment in Discord, and get the ChatGPT analysis as a message in the same channel. The Zap looks like this:Discord Msg Trigger → extract text from article in message → ChatGPT Conversation (analysis) → post analysis in DiscordDiscord message input/output setup has been fine; the roadblock I’m experiencing is getting the bulk text of the article to pass to ChatGPT. I am a free user, so webhooks are not an option for me currently.Options I have explored are as follows:PDF handler apps: the ones available seem to be for PDF generation only or extracting data from predictable templates e.g. invoices, so not suitable. Web Parser: can’t handle the amount of text I want to extract as it seems designed for normal webpages. Webhooks: premium option.Can I do something with Google Docs acting as a “middle man” for this Zap, or are webhooks my only solution?

Hi! I have a problem that I think that other power users may also have. There’s this limitation that once you create a zap step and connect to an app, if the app connected has a lot of fields it’s almost impossible to set up the zap or edit it because you have sooo many pages and pages to scroll to find what you need to map. As an example, in my org we are using Hubspot as our mkt CRM, and we have it customized with +500 fields. Each time we create an step we have to manually scroll down to find the properties we want to use. And also, whenever we need to edit the zap there’s no easy way to find anything. heeelp!
How do I set up path rules in Zapier to recognize different budget ranges from a Google Form trigger?
Hi guys, I’m trying to set up an automation flow where it will add the client info, based on the budget they put into a google form(the trigger), however, seems like the path rules are only able to pick up one set of the number from the google form. How can I set it up so that it recognize different set of numbers? Right now the issues seems to be if I select Response A (Budget $150 - $250), the path rules can only pick up numbers that matches response A, and won’t be able to pick up Response B (Budget $251 - $500)For example:Path 1: Budget $150 - $250Path 2: Budget $251 - $500Path 3: Budget $501 - $899 I hope I explained this well, please let me know if you need further clarification!
Hi!I’m looking to add a feature to my Zap that will notify me if a lead has not come through a Facebook form in more than 5 days. I was thinking of adding a delay of 5 days and then sending a Slack message to a channel. The workflow would look like this: Facebook form → CRM → Wait 5 days → Slack message. However, I’m not sure if the Zap will reset when the trigger triggers while on the delay. Is this possible, or is there a better way to do this?Thanks!
Everything makes sense up until the referncing of the CSV which I can’t seem to find on dropdown. New attachment in Gmail → Update Spreadsheet Row(s) in Google Sheets It’s not clear on dropdown how to actually select the attachment. Only seem to be able to select elements from the email itself.
Hi,I have a Google form I made payable with the Payable App. When a payment is confirmed it changes a sell in the "Payment ID" from "pending" (or empty) into "paid". When that happens I want it to trigger Gmail to send out an e-mail.I know how to set up action/triggers on new rows, but I haven't been able to make it happen with an updated cell. So it only needs to trigger if a cell is turned into "paid" and then use all the info within that row for the e-mail. Even if new rows are being added.Also; I want the e-mail that is being sent out to be addressed to multiple e-mail adresses that I have gathered through another form. And besides the info from the first mentioned Google Payable form, I also want to include info from the other form (mail adress to send it to, and name so I can personally address these people).Is this all possible or do I need to set up two Zaps for this? I have no luck contacting Zapier support and need some help from the community.My team would like to trigger a zap based on an incoming email from BizBuySell - looks like this:Subject: Your BizBuySell listing Thriving Resort Community Laundromat Available For SaleBody: Buyer Information Contact Name: Bob Martens Contact Email: email@example.com Contact Phone: (555) 555-9308 I need to trigger the zap based on the subject, parse the contact information from the body, and then use another zap to move the data into HubSpot CRM to kick off an automated response. I have other zaps that take incoming contact information from zap partner apps to put the contact in HubSpot and I am familiar with that process. I am unable to find a way to a) capture the email based on the subject or b) parse the required data. Is this possible? If so, please help point me in the right direction. I have the basic free plan today but I am MORE THAN HAPPY to upgrade to get what I need. Thank
Hello,I’m trying to create a zap that sends data from Gravity Forms to different Google Sheets based on the answer to a dropdown field, featuring 14 different selectable options. This will then send the data into one of my 14 Google Sheets (or 14 multiple sheets within the same document if workable).I’ve tried using Zapier Paths, but that appears limited to 10 paths, and could be overkill and/or wrong way to go about this.Does anyone know of a way to get this working without replicating the form 14 times in WordPress and having 14 different zaps? 😅Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
Good morning, I have been trying to create an automation for more than a year in Make and it has been impossible. So I come to try to Zapier.What I want to do is to connect Dropbox with Google Sheets.The moment an image file is added in Dropbox (for example file name "EXAMPLE_1") that it searches in a column given beforehand for the name "EXAMPLE_1". If it finds it correctly, receive the downloadable link of the file from Dropbox and place it in the same row but in another column given beforehand (see image).
We are looking for an automated process to display our total number of sales transactions at our full service car wash.We currently do not have a digital sign provider. We will sign up with whatever solution will work for our use case. We want to track daily, weekly, monthly and all-time number of transactions generated through Square POS. We want this information to be displayed on a TV so our staff members can have a clear and accurate/live view on how many cars we have washed for the day/week/month/year.I had come across a solution through Zapier a few days ago and unfortunately did not bookmark or document what I found. Does anyone have a solution for our use case here?
