Question

Automating Outlook email to read and respond to common questions

Hello,

 

I am new and very green with Zapier, and with AI in general. And i have a question around building out Zapier/Outlook to respond to emails automatically when the questions are common, and if it is something that can be automated.

Could zapier be used to read an email, identify the question, and if it is a common question, could it be automated to respond to the client?

And inverse of that, if the email is more important, not common, could a whatsapp be triggered to my phone so i can respond manually?

Any help in building this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey ​@SeanW,

Yes this can be done. 

Your sample workflow will look something like this-

  • New Email in Personal Inbox trigger
  • AI by Zapier action
  • Paths by Zapier
  • Path A- Create Draft action
  • Path B- Send Message action

This is a sample workflow and you may need to add other actions like Filter, Formatter etc as workflows are usually personalized to user’s needs. Hope it helps!
