Hello, I am trying to copy a file from one Box folder to another based on ca file name. User uploads receipt with their name as part of the naming convention, then the file is saved to the proper folder for reconciliation. I’d appreciate any insight or alternatives. Thank you, Bill
hello! new to zapier. hoping you can help! We have many events on eventbrite. Trying to push each new eventbrite attendee registration into Salesforce. We capture this in a custom “participant” object. A very simple object with only three look up fields which ultimately creates a list of attendees on a related Case/Service object which captures the event itself. 1 event, many participants.Participant record screen shot below. As you can see- the Service number is the field that ties these two objects together.All three are look up fields. And we want to search and connect to an existing contact if one exists, if not, make new. I cannot figure out how to get my Zap to search for contact name and organization records - fields that we do have on the eventbrite registration- and in salesforce, either update those records or create a new contact and/or organization if neither exist in our system. thank you for any help!

Today around 3:00 AM all my integrations with 123formbuilder stopped running. I can't identify errors, as they don't even appear in the task history. Using Google Sheets to perform calculations on contact details in HubSpot and update contacts with new data - lagging
I am currently creating a Zap in which when a contact is updated or changed in HubSpot, the contact is imported into an a Google sheets and certain statistics are calculated based on the imported data. Once the statistics are calculated, the contact details in HubSpot are updated with the new statistics. The final step in the zap is to delete all the imported dataI’ve managed to get this to work when small numbers of contacts are changed. However, I encounter a number of issues when larger numbers of contacts are changed. (I’ve tested by changing 100+ contacts in one trigger):The zap itself becomes laggy when it is triggered. I imagine this is because the zap is importing details, exporting calculations and then deleting the row for each contact. The lag results in some rows not being deleted. The number of tasks used is extremely high since the zap has 5 tasks and the zap technically runs for each updated contact. If the zap runs 100s of times a day, its likely that the monthly task l
I’ve created a Zap (Zapier is fantastic!) that would automate our written standup (Using Standup Alice) posted on Slack to another tool.When the bot posted the aggregated results of our written standup today I noticed, that only the first line was copied over. I wasn’t able to see the additional text in Zapier what I see in Slack. Howdy,I’m trying to integrate Typeform with Shopify so that a Typeform answer filters a product category tag within Shopify for the user when they submit the Typeform and get redirected to the product page, only showing the products with the tags connected. Is it possible to filter Shopify tags through Typeform answers with Zapier? If so which ‘action’ do I use and how would I go about using the ‘lookup table’ to achieve this or another method? This is to only show products after the Typeform quiz is submitted which have tags associated with specific Typeform answers (e.g. How much sun does your house get? a. None b. Some c. Alot, so that answer None with Typeform can be linked/ filter to show products associated with the tag Low Light within Shopify). Any help is greatly appreciated,Thanks!
Hi all,I have a zap to take inputs from a Google form and create a Trello card for my team. Part of the zap is to add labels to the cards. Works well.However, I've noticed that it sometimes fails to find the right labels and ends up adding Trello cards without labels (meaning people miss it).I'm trying to create a Zap to find cards without labels on Trello and flag it. Problem is the Trello actions for finding cards seem to relate to a specific card rather than finding all cards that don't have labels.Does anyone know of a way to do it?
Hi! How do I use a custom Drip tag (other than the defaults) when I want to have a user automatically enrolled in a Teachable course? I think the default Drip tag used for a trigger is “new customer”. But I’d love to use another tag that reflects a specific purchase, since I sell multiple courses and have multiple products. Hello everyone, I'm a new user of Zap, which seems to be a very powerful tool, but I'm having a little trouble getting the result I want. I work with a team and we all share the same Google Sheet, I would like to be informed on Slack each time someone makes a change (especially each time someone modifies a box). I managed to get a direct message when someone makes a change, I get the row number on that message, but I can't figure out how to add who did it and what the change was. How can I customize the message to get all these informations ? Thank you, Boris
I’m trying to set up a zap that, when a ticket in Jira Service Desk is updated, lets the user who opened the ticket know via a message from a Slack bot. Unfortunately, the Jira Service Desk integration “Issue Updated” event pulls all of the data about that issue in - I’m trying to figure out how to parse from that info what actually triggered the update event. It could be a new comment, or an update to the issue status. Is anyone familiar enough with the Jira API to point me in the right direction on how to pick out what the update is? Would be much appreciated.
Hello everyone!I’m using Google analytics measurement to create custome events.The problem is that when I look at the event in Google Analytics I have the field "Page" = (not set) and the field "Full Referrer" = (direct) and they are both wrong.Now I have two questions:To provide the field "Full Referrer" I suppose I have to set a value for the parameter "Document Referrer" in the Measurement. Right? (see attached image) I tried that, but I still see “direct” ad a Referrer. To provide the field "Page" I suppose I have to set a value for the parameter "Document location URL" in the Measurement (see official documentation). The problem is that in the list of parameters that Zapier shows me for a Measurement I don't see "Document location URL". How can I fix that?Thanks in advance
Hi ! I have an issue mapping data between Excel and Zoho CRM (contacts comdule) When I have a enter on an excel workseet (stored in onedrive), I want to create a new ACCOUNT and a new CONTACT. No issue to create a new ACCOUNT, but when I want to use the ACCOUNT name on the new CONTACT, using the account fied from my form I have this error: Unable to create entry in module: Contacts. Error : Invalid data for the field id. Detail : expected_data_type bigint, parent_api_name Account_Name It seems that Zapier cannot retrieve the ACCOUNT name for the new CONTACT - by default, I can choose the ACCOUNT name from the list of ACCOUNT already in the CRM, but not the custom value created from the new ACCOUNT. Please help!!!
We’ve recently started using Zapier to send broadcast emergency alert system emails to Twitter, but I’m fussing about with the formatting. I’d like to try to include the varying originator of the alert, which appears in the email between parentheses like so:“An EAS Participant has issued a Required Weekly Test for all of Nebraska beginning at 2:00 pm and ending at 3:30 pm (NETRADIO) “So far, my attempts at using ‘Find’ and variations on (*) haven’t worked. Is there a better/proper way to get that? Thanks!
I have two tables in Airtable that have 4 matching fields. The identity field is email address. Based on the values in table 2, I would like to update Table 1 where the email field matches. I’m able to connect to both tables, and I can see records in both … but I’m not sure how to create the Zap. Any guidance would be appreciated … I’m still reading docs in Zapier, so if I find the solution myself I’ll post it. Thanks.
The b2b robotic automation like automation anywhere and uipath have the ability to automate software through the GUI besides the API. this is very powerful when the software does not have API, does Zapier have something like this and or similar ?
Hi there, I have created a Zap, the zap has run perfectly up till now, when all of a sudden it has started turning off by itself whenever a new data entry is made. It is an instant Zap that activates whenever a new task is submitted as complete in clickup. Why does it all of a sudden do this? and how do I fix it?
Hi - I’m using the Eventbrite to Zoom registration zap (by Zapier, I think?) I had to set all custom questions in the Zoom webinar registration to Not Required. Otherwise, I kept getting an error 300, field empty. It was a simple Yes/No question. Is it possible to match Eventbrite reg questions with the questions in Zoom reg? Ex. Eventbrite reg question: Are you a member of xyz? Zoom reg question is the same, but they will not match up apparently. Thanks for help or suggestions to try. Jeff –––––––

I am looking to automate the process of having my employees upload documents in multiple locations. Right now when a doc is added to airtable, I would the doc (Via Zapier) to be uploaded into our citrix environment. Each record in Airtable has a unique job number assigned to it. This job number is used as the folder name in Citrix as well. Can Zapier pull the the number from the field in Airtable and stick the document in the corresponding folder in Citrix or can zapier only upload to a single “Chosen” folder?
Hey there, I am new to Zapier and I am looking for a solution to connect our softphone with our CRM. We are currently useing Placetel and Pipedrive. If possible, I would like to connect Placetel to Pipedrive in a way that when we do a call, an activity is automatically created in PD. Usually there are already some good working plug-ins for PD, but they do require number porting or caller masking + charge extra for every calls / minute. This of course does not make any sense, as we already have a valid contract with a phone company. Question now: Is there a chanche to use Zapier to connect those two systems, so that its like if we would be useing a plug-in? Would be awseome to get some help. Thank you, Sebastian
