Formatter - How to split text by number of characters?

Hi, at the end point I have a restriction in number of characters for a field and gives an error when try to fill a new lead. I thought to split the field by two by the number of characters in order to assure that doesn’t reach the max. is it possible? I tried a few things but I couldn’t get it right thanks!

Create different Asana task based on selected products in Pipedrive

Hello,Im trying to make a Zap that will create different Asana task based on what products have been input on Pipedrive, triggering when the deal is won in pipedrive.  Our sales team uses Pandadocs for our proposals and booking forms, which when completed go into the files section on Pipedrive. What I want to be able to do, is make the asana task(s), then attach any files from the files sections on pipedrive into it. Ive tested this on a number of completed deals and it works fine and the files get attached, but for some reason on some others, it just doesn't register the files at all in Pipedrive. For example it shows in the “Files file” object as null or even “null, null...” if the “File count” object is > 0Does anyone have any advice on why this might be the case and what I can do about it?

Zapier not pulling in all Airtable fields

Hi - long time Zapier user - short time Airtable user. I’m trying to create a zap that triggers off a record being updated in Zapier. ie. when a contact is updated in Airtable, then the lead is added to close.io for email outreach. Problem is, zapier isn’t pulling all of the dynamic data from Airtable, so I’m not able to pass across the requisite data that close.io needs (ie. email address). The email address fields is clearly on the Airtable table, so I’m not sure why zapier isn’t pulling in that dynamic field into the drop down when creating an action zap. Any advice?

Hi! We are trying to pick up an abandoned cart event from stripe with zapier. But we are having trouble finding an event that could pick the email of an unresolved checkout once a certain time passes. We were looking for something like a “checkout session expired” or a “abandoned cart” event. Is there something of the sort? Maybe it exists but depends on a certain configuration on stripe's end to be enabled?Thanks in advance!

New entry in Google Sheets, searching several rows ahead of populated data

Good day, We have had zapier running on an extisting sheet for a few months. Recently the ZAP gives error that the email address field is empty. We also use Zapier to create a customer and invoice in quickbooks - this one too says that the full name field is empty even though there is data.  When creating a new zap, the test data indicates that the zap is looking for data at least 5 rows ahead of where we have data. Can we reset the zap to look in prior rows or do we have to abandon the sheet and create a new one? Prosper

Hello, I am trying to create a path when an outlook email is received to update or create a task on AsanaCheck if task title exists = set by email subjectA: IF exists add a comment (story) on existing taskB: IF doesnt exists create new task      As task i need to search by the Email Subject for the system to decide if task exists already or not. System doesn't allow to be searched by new Email subject, I can only specify task that already exist on Asana. This is where i need help. How can i search if task exist → if yes to find it and update comment?

Hi there, in @PaulKortman’s reply in this thread:  he said that it’s possible to ‘… rename a file by “moving” it in Google Drive’. How can you do this? I could just find the fields to select a target folder in Google Drive.The file in question is a Google Sheet which must not be copied, only moved. Just want to add a timestamp to the filename, but I don’t know how to achieve this.

Hi folks,I’m wondering if there are any whizzes out there that can help me with my zap setup.I have FB Lead Form ads that ask for UK postcode and I’m using Zapier to integrate lead information into Activecampaign.However, I’d like to use a filter to add the user to a different Activecampaign list depending on the postcodeSomething likeStep 1 - if postcode starts with BD go to X listStep 2 - if postcode starts with RM go to Y list etcStep 3 - if postcode starts with EX go to another list etcBut I can’t work out to do it!! This post was split from the topic: How to do a Fuzzy Search in AirtableI wanted this to work so much - it would solve many of the problems I’m facing with the find option not finding things that are slightly different cases (ex: when a user submits their email LIZ@ vs liz@) But when I tried this formula, it keeps coming coming back with an error. “Problem removing Sample: Our computers ran into a problem.” Are there other places I can go to learn about fuzzy search formulas and how to build them? Or is there a way to tell Zap/Airtable to search regardless of case?Thanks!

How to find ticket in Zendesk associated with Hubspot user

Hi! I am trying to set up the following Zap: Update Zendesk ticket when Hubspot property change, but I am having trouble defining which tickets need to be updated. Specifically: Action: Find ticket in Zendesk - after my trigger (i.e. contact property updated in Hubspot) I want to start by looking for tickets in Zendesk associated with the Hubspot user whose property was updated. How should I write that query? Should I just pick the email-parameter from Hubspot (see image) or am I missing a piece here?

1 large Zap vs lots of smaller Zaps

Hi, I’m currently planning my first “large” zap - when I say Large, we’re talking about hundreds of steps over a period of 3 or 4 months. I don’t know if it’s best practice to use 1x master zap utitilizing paths etc that contains it all, or lots of smaller autonomous ones where possible - so Zaps linking to Zaps. Would welcome advice. It’s not a kick-arse complex one, just lots of time and delay rules etc and triggering of other apps like Keap and Email, Todoist etc etc

Possible to export Pocket article from url into PDF?

I’m trying to create a simple workflow which converts an article from Pocket into a PDF (using PDF.co) and then save in Google Drive.The problem I’m having is there are rendering inconsistencies from article to article. I understand this is because the Zap is setup to just pass along the article URL. Is there anyway to export the actual minimized formatting which Pocket creates from the URL? This would I would have a consistent layout and font size for every article which is exported.Thanks for any help or guidance, I signed up for Zapier basically just to get the Pocket PDF export working.

How to syncing WordPress site and FloDesk for blog post notifications?

Hello,I’m curious is anyone has any experience using Zaps to create blog post notifications sent only to subscribers to the blog using a sync between a WordPress site and FloDesk.My guess is that I will have to create a subscriber list specifically for the blog on the WordPress site that adds subscriber emails to FloDesk (perhaps in a blog specific mailing list). Then I would have to create a sync that sends out an email to subscribers every time a blog post is created.Does that sound about right? Would that be 4 total zaps (2 for signup, 2 for post notification emails)?

Trello Integration - Repeated "Account Expired" Error

The Trello integration was working correctly up until this morning.  Now I’m getting a continual “Account Expired” message and can’t reactivate my Zaps using it.  I’ve tried re-establishing my credentials multiple times and verified that my Trello account allows access to Zapier, but all I get back is a “Service Unavailable” error when I attempt to reconnect.Any idea how I can correct this and get my Zap back online?

Updating linked records in Airtable with new items to add when items already exist

We’re in the process of building out some serious zaps into our Airtable database and need some guidance on what will happen if we use zapier to ‘add’ items to a “link to another record” field which already contains values.We have tables for both Clients and Meetings in our Airtable base which are linked.Over time, multiple meetings are linked to existing clients. Often we can add new meetings and link just that specific meeting to an existing contact, HOWEVER sometimes we need to update an existing contact and link it to a new meeting (this is caused by the case of sometimes having one meeting attendee and sometimes having two, where attendee 2 is sometimes blank, so we need to run a filter before search/creating attendee 2 as a contact, and this happens after the meeting is already created).The issue here is that these contacts likely already have various linked items (meetings).So, my question is, if we run a zap to “add” a new meeting ID to the linked meeting column of a contact, w

Not all Facebook Lead Ads leads were added to Google Drive

Where I have brought the lead of Facebook Ad to Google Drive. There is no error either. But why do I see only 2 leads in my drive? Whereas my Facebook lead is around 30. I am using a free plan. Salesforce “Could not create record of the “Task” object: We're not able to use this object type” error

Hi everybody, This is my first post on this forum and I hope I will lucky and find the help that I need  I’m trying to build a pretty simple task in the idea but I fail to find the object to create in my target app.My task is the following :Every month create a custom task in an account in Salesforce.This custom task is like to log a call (same place and same sort of action) in the activity panel but i don’t find the right object to use for this purpose. There is a bench of objects and the only one who seems to be the right is Task but it return the following error : So my answer is :What is the object to use to create or update a record that is a custom task?Is it Task and in this case I need to contact the support or is it an other? Thanks for those who will read me and for your feedback.
