Send Private Channel Message in Slack - "To continue, finish required fields" message remains

 Hi! I am trying to send a slack message to a private channel. Zapier allows me to select the channel, and fill out the fields, but the “To continue, finish required fields” button stays put. I also notice that the channel selection seems to clear on its own.Am I simply filling this form out incorrectly? Or is there a bug?Thanks for your help​

Dear Zapier Community. I’ve been working on a zap.Trigger: Updated Task in AsanaAction: Send Email (Gmail). I’ve set up the email so all the data fields are a part of the email. So far so good.Would it be possible to specify either the trigger or the action, so the only information that is send is the “new” and updated information and not all the other stuff.Thank you for your time!

Add carriage returns/line break without using Formatter

I am looking for a way to add a carriage return/line break to split two values in an input field in Zapier? I.e.{{value_001}} carriage return (\r){{value_002}} I know it is possible to add a carriage return via Zapier Formatter with [:return:], but I hope there is a way to add this without the Formatter. Thanks for help.

Deal Closed in HubSpot trigger: "Does not have permissions on portal" error

I have had many hubspot zaps working without any issue and then today my zap triggered on DealClosed WON has stopped working.  I have tried creating a new zap with hubspot and hupsot works for contacts etc, but if I try to trigger anything based off a deal it gives me this  I did have two connected accounts which I no is a NO NO but I have since removed one, and all the zaps using the existing connection are fine.  And new zaps with contacts work.  Very odd.

Sync Asana task with Github issues

Hello there,For my project, I have 2 Asana plans (A & B) and 5 GitHub repositories (1 to 5).I want that, Whenever a task is created from one of the Asana plans (with a custom field indicating the destination repository), an issue is created in the right GitHub repository (with the Asana plan as a label), adding the Asana task link to the body. When an issue is created in GitHub in one of the repos, the source Asana task is found in their plan, adding the GitHub issue link as a story (=comment)I have managed to do this flow, which is working OK. But I have one issue that I don’t know how to solve.For the first zap I am using “New Asana task” which triggers far too soon! A lot of times, I did not have the time to enter the custom field that indicates the repo, leading to failure. (cf screenshot)Is there any other, better way to do this? Looking at “Updated Asana task” does not seem to be a right move. But maybe looking at “Tag Added to Task” in Asana instead of checking custom field

Zapier won't go through even the though conditions is are met

 So zapier won’t go through that steps even though I've set the condition correct. I have screenshots belowAs you can see, I set to only continue if the product name of the purchased item in clickfunnels matches the text. Since zapier only allow up to 3 paths (which is I have 4 products in clickfunnels) I make the other 3rd path to have another 2 path which only allow if those names are match to which product my customer will buy.   When it matches the “How To Do Your Bookkeeping Using QuickBooks Desktop” it when through and sent me an email that the purchased was successful (I was testing my funnels).  But when I testing out to buy the other product which is “How To Do Your Bookkeeping Using QuickBooks Online” there was 0 task made I don’t why this happens but as you see that I use “OR” for the “How To Do Your Bookkeeping Using QuickBooks Online” to go through but I didn’t do anything.Can someone help me with this really need your help I’m trying to finish this week to launch it next

Prevent Zap A from running if Zap B has run in the last X minutes / with the same variable

Hi all, Hope you’re well. I’ve been a bit stuck on this issue: I’m looking for a way to ensure that one zap doesn’t trigger another zap, without using custom fields.  For instance, Zap A fires - Zap B DOESN’T fire because Zap A has fired within 1 minute. Or, even better: Zap A Fires - Zap B DOESN’T fire because the email used in Zap A is the same as the email used in Zap B

For some reason,  New tasks aren’t showing up when created in Trello to pop up on my Click-Up board. It works during test, but there are two things that are happening: I can’t seem to figure out the code/what I need to put so that the actual name of the tasks goes into ClickUp It doesn’t come up when I’m creating a new task at all.Does anyone know what’s happening?

Trigger on Gmail CSV attachment, send to GitHub as a gist

Good Morning,  We are building an automated report in a private github repository that gives us projected sales. We do not want to connect to our database within github for privacy reasons, so we want to:send a file (csv) to a designated gmail account, and then copy the file into our github repository. We want to produce a new report daily so we will automate a new email being sent daily and then the file that it is being written to be replaced (written-over) by the new file.  We have the data being sent to an email already, we are looking for guidance with copying the data from the email to the repository daily.  If anyone has any guidance or recommendations that would be much appreciated ! Thank you all for the help, I am still a novice when it comes to making my own Zaps.

Formatting dates in Google Sheet action

I am trying to send a date and time to a column in a google sheet, using the command {{zap_meta_human_now}}. However, for some reason the data is going in fine to the google sheet, but the data out is just numbers. I’ve tried using the Formatter but no matter what format I use I always receive these numbers in the sheet.  I am not sure how to fix this issue. I’ve tried looking through the help documentation, but I can’t find anything. Does anyone know what is happening?

Hello,I am new to Zapier and am trying to find out IF Zapier supports a syncing link between Quick Books Online and Apple’s iCloud services? Instagram to RSS Zaps - error from Instagram trigger

I just received a flux of e-mails in my inbox notifying me about an error with all of the Instagram to RSS Zaps I have setup in our account.  The error for all of them states: “Could not find posts for user with id: XXXXXXXXXXXX: API access disrupted. Go to the App Dashboard and complete Data Use Checkup.” We haven’t passed our data usage for the month, and there are no indicators that something else needs to be setup in my settings. Is there a known issue with the Instagram integration to Zapier?

Enrolled in a Course in LearnDash trigger - filter by specific course

My question is how to set up a link between Active Campaign and Learndash, were somebody who newly enrolls in a specific course gets a tag in Active Campaign (or becomes a new contact). I’ve read and tried to make the Zap over and over again but cannot get the connection to a specific course. So I've connected Learndash and Active Campaign to Zapier but I do not see an option to pick the possibility of someone enrolling in a specific course. This is probably a lack of understanding on my part, would be lovely if someone can help me out with this. Tanx

Adding or Rearranging Google Sheet columns without affecting Zap

We  have  a large  gravity forms form that we  zap  to  a  google  sheet. Several times in the past  and  now again we’ve modified  the  form and  need  to  add a new  column in the  sheet.  However when  we  do  that  it upsets all the  existing  mappings  to the  right  of  the  new  column. Is  there  a  way  to  do  this (add  another gravity form field and  corresponding  google  sheet column)   so  that we  don’t have  to  remap  all of  these displaced  columns Thanks

Podio Update to MailChimp email series

HI Team We are setting up a couple of email series in Mailchimp. What we would like to happen is that when that offer status changes in Podio, that the subsciber will be pushed over to a different email series. So, visually this is my thought process. SCENARIO 1: Subscriber starts receiving emails. If subscriber does not receive an offer, subscriber continues with series.SCENARIO 2: Subscriber starts receiving emails and asks for an offer. Once the offer is sent, the status changes. When it changes in Podio, subscriber starts receiving a new email series. This sounds relatively easy, but unsure what to do. Thanks in advance for all our your help!
