Append Document but Do Not Strip Out Formatting
I am sending prompts to openai and gathering information and then dropping it into a word document. The first ‘drop’ created the doc and the formatting is clean. The second ‘drop’ after ai i prompted to generate the content uses ‘append text to document’ and all of its formatting is stripped out. Any idea how to keep the formatting? It turns it into one large paragraph of text.

Hey Guys, can someone help me change the model to GPT4. I have a paid account and set up the billing on the API. However I cant get the GPT 4 option. Secound question If I use the GPT 4 model on the Zapier chatbot when it proccess the prompt will it use the plugins I have installed?? Thanks a lotMitch
Automatically Submit Comment on Reddit and not comment on my own comments
Hi Team, one of your competitors, Pipedream, is able to automate the submitting of comments on reddit. I am wondering why this feature is unavailable in your offering. The natural addition to this feature request is to not comment on my Reddit accounts own comments or else the automation will just talk to itself infinitely. Can you please advise of the best way to accomplish this or request it? I believe my company has the highest paid account for Zapier so any support is greatly appreciated.
Hey Everyone,I am trying to link our Hubspot Form with Greenhouse using Zapier in a way that when a new form is submitted, a prospect is created using “Zapier Webhooks”. Unfortunately, I am running into 400 error in 2 cases I tried:Submit a new “resume” to an existing application, where I created a Public URL through Zapier from Hubspot, which is then used in the webhook as a source of the file/attachement. Error 400 appears. Submit a new candidate without the attachement, using Webhooks again. This time, I am getting 401 for incorrect JSON request.In both cases, I am using Greenhouse API documentation to fill out the zap - https://developers.greenhouse.io/harvest.html#post-add-attachment-to-application Can you help me figure out what I am doing wrong?
Error: ‘images empty or missing.’
Hello, I’d like to know what kind of input the below field expects.The product has a variable number of images stored in a string array.I tried to pass the array, a comma separated list, converted to line items with a formatter step but nothing works. I keep getting an error like ‘images empty or missing’. . Any idea?

My zap goes like this:Trigger: contact field changesAction:delay 1 minute (to give hubspot time to update the contact) Find contact Filter if it has a specific value Send first email Delay for 7 days (Error) Find contact in Hubspot (to check if values have changed) Filter For specific values (if true) send second mail Delay for 5 days Find contact in Hubspot (to check if values have changed) Filter For specific values (if true) send third mailI know its a long zap but quite easy. Click Funnels + Google sheets blank rows
Hi! I have an integration of clickfunnels and google sheets through zapier. I´m collecting contact info in my landing and the zap is working almost perfectly. The issue i’m having now is that each couple of days blank rows are generated on my sheet. I´ve tried reconnecting the zap but haven´t tried anything else yet. Date formatting in Zapier tables not corresponding with pretty date from schedule
Hi Guys,Maybe some of you encoutered it already, but when I set a dat in Zapier Tables I have the following options:The other examples are in the picture below This looks like there are a lot of options available (which there are)but not the format used by “Schedule by Zapier” as, this comes with a comma in between, please see below.I probably could solve this by using a formatter to remove the “comma”, but i am wondering as many users do use “Scheduler by Zapier” and Table is still in Beta that this date format could also be added to Tables?Any other suggestions? Forms.app - Capturing comments added to a question
Hi there.I’m using a Zap to create a new record in Airtable when a Forms.app form is submitted. What I’m having trouble with is capturing the content of Comments fields that are added to individual questions (image below for clarification). They don’t seem to show up in the data coming into Zapier from Forms.app, presumably because they are extensions of the original question.Is it possible to capture this data, or do I need to make these separate questions?Thanks for whatever wisdom you can share!Michelle
Can I ignore weekends when calculating a date?
I am making a workflow that tracks milestones before a project due date. The project due date could be any weekday, M-F. For example the input would be the project due date (ex Tuesday) and the task has to happen 3 business days before (ex Thursday). When I do a calculation of -3 days, it gives me Saturday. Here are the results I want. Anyone have ideas how to make this happen? How do I monitor and send an email when any of the 100 Airtable records is updated?
Hi. I want to create a Zap to send an email whenever any record is updated to the email that is on that record. I have figured out the connection but it only allows to send email when a certain record is updated. I want it to watch all 100 records and when any of the records is updated, send an email to the updated records email. Any help would be appreciated.
How do I know if my RSS by Zapier Zap is running properly?
Hello Zapier Community, I need some help understanding what to do after I created my RSS by Zapier Zap. I’ve run it from top to bottom on an example RSS-feed blog post it offered me, however, now that the Zap is constructed, I don’t know how to understand if it will pull a new RSS-feed blog post or not or how long to wait to find out. Does anyone have any experience with running Zaps around RSS-feed blog posts?
Dropbox Trigger failure
My trigger is adding “new file to folder” and I’ve connected my Dropbox account and completed everything that needs to be done - in fact, I have an identical zap (with slightly different paths) that works perfectly. Assuming my paths are correct, why is the trigger test not working? The whole sequence is Dropbox → Asana: Create Task but the Dropbox trigger fails to begin with, before getting to Asana.
When deal stage changes will the contact be removed from Zap?
We are using Zapier to integrate Hubspot and MailChimp to send cold leads in Hubspot to a Mailchimp email list. Our question is if the contact starts engaging and is no longer a cold lead, will they automatically be removed from the Zap or does that need to be done manually in Hubspot/MailChimp?
zapping repeating events in eventbrite
Our org hosts tons of ongoing events which are repeating weekly infinitely. Setting up zaps for each of these to mailer lite is so time consuming scrolling through all the instances and pressing “load more” over and over again until I find the right workshop. Is there any way to simplify this for repeating events?Another issue is I only have 20 zaps per month.So even if I could add all instances of the repeating event (and had time to do this) we cant afford a more expensive account for more zapsIdeas?#eventbrite #mailerlite
How to sort a large array of line items (with Zapier Storage + Code?)
Hello Zapmates!Here’s the challenge…We’re trying to sort content to recommend to a person using scores. I want to return the URL slugs (that present the slug) in order of the highest score for each contact_id I’ve got a Loop in my Zap to fetch the relevant scores for each Slug line item. I’m not sure how best to push this to Storage with one key (the contact_id), multiple slug/scores. e.g. contact_id: abcde Slug: example-slug-aScore: 56 Slug: example-slug-bScore: 85 Slug: example-slug-cScore: 74 I’m then not sure how to get all these entries looped through for each contact (there could be 20-30) and then sort them. There’s an outline here, but it uses alphabetical sorting vs. the idea of a score.Maybe there’s a hacky way to preprend the score value to slug name then use the same desc logic?Any help would be really appreciated
Google Workspace - Zapier integration desired
I see in the closed post Can we use Google Workspace within my Zap? that there is a way to vote for Zapier to add Google Workspace Admin to the actual integrations. Our use case would be to connect new Google (email) Users and Zap them to Salesforce Contacts since most employees get a Google User set up first. I would like to be able to add my vote there - and let others seeking this integration add their votes. At a minimum, could a hyperlink be hadded there to add your vote? It may capture more interested users to allow for Google Workspace Admin to come up as an app and say no integration now, but add your vote for this. It would also be great to have a Tag for Google Workspace.
Google Forms Error Quota Exceeded "Expensive Reads"
Hi,New user here. Im trying to create a Zap where when someone fills out a Google Form, it creates a task for me on Google Tasks. But I get this error message:Quota exceeded for quota metric 'Expensive Reads' and limit 'Expensive Reads per minute' of service 'forms.googleapis.com' for consumer 'project_number:927538837578'. Any idea on how I can solve this or even what this means?
Trying to figure out the right trigger
Hi everyone, I am completely new and need some help. I am trying to find a way set up a zap. I have a google spreadsheet that captures names with group leads when someone on my Facebook page is asking to join. I am trying to figure out how to set up a zap that would automatically send this new member information from my spreadsheet to my constant contact contact list. I have an auto reply set up so that new contacts to mymessenger feed are welcomed and asked a question. I want to set up a function to follow up with each customer IF they DO NOT reply within a certain time period. I have tried and failed to achieve this. Please help?
Unable to Trigger a Zap in Slack with Saved Message
Slack recently changed the way that the "Save" feature works with messages. Now, when you save a message (by clicking the bookmark symbol), it shows up in a section called "Later."Unfortunately, this seems to have broke my Zap because the triggering event to create a Todoist task was Saving a message in Slack(screenshot attached). As anyone else run into this issue? I hope this is something that Zapier is working to update on their end.
