This may be a silly ask...We run a yard sign contest and until recently I've always saved a copy of the photo in a folder on my desktop.Trying to save on Google Drive in a folder and then when the file is added to a Drive folder, have the file name added to a spreadsheet.This makes picking a monthly winner easier.For some reason I cannot get this to work and am stumped.Is there anyone that can lend a hand?
I have a workflow in which I need to notify certain users via Slack when something happens. I have stored these slack user IDs in a global variable (using the Storage action). I can pull the slack user IDs just fine; when I test the Get Value action, the correct value is returned.However, when I set up a step to send a DM to the user via Slack, the step won’t let me continue to the test screen. The variable is clearly being pulled into the username field just fine, but the Continue button is grayed out. I tried setting the username to a direct reference to a username (using the To Username tab to select a user, rather than the Custom tab to pull in my variable). That works fine. If I do that, and then switch to Custom, pulling in my variable, it looks like it works fine and I can click the Continue button. But when I test, it’s sending to the directly-selected username, rather than the variable. If I click back on the Set Up Action section of the Slack step, I see the directly-selected
Hi there!I’m new to Zapier. To give you some context, I’m a reseller of software licences. Here’s my scenario: 1. A customer of mine buys a software product on my site with ThriveCart 2. I need to get a serial number for the software from the software vendor (here’s the tricky thing) 3. As soon as the vendor give me the licence #, I send an email to my customer Do you know how can I do this workflow with Zapier? I need to send some data to the vendor with infos like order#, invoice#, productType, quantity but I don’t know how ? A mail? A Webhook? A shared Google Spreadsheet?Then when I receive the licence number from the vendor I need to send it back to my customer automatically.What would be the easiest solution?Thanks for your advices.-Arnaud
I’m testing the free version of Zapier to see if I can use Smartsheet to create a draft scheduled social media post. Since I can only use a single-step Zap I’m limited to what I can test. There are four fields that I would like to connect:Social Channel to post on Copy for the post Set Status to “Draft” Set the scheduled date.EDITED: The last three are easy, but is there a way to choose between our four social accounts to post to when a new row is added?

We’re trying to build an integration that takes two custom objects (invoice & invoice line items) in SF and creates an Invoice & Line items in Quickbooks. I’m really struggling to figure out how to take all of the line items fro Salesforce and create them in Quickbooks. Everything I’ve read points to the Line Itemizer utility but it’s only creating a single line item in Quickbooks.
current software: Lead pages, mailer-lite and zapierHave a FB conversion ad not a lead ad for a free workshop, they go to Leadpages form, then the subscriber gets added into my mailerlite CRM, then into a group. Doesn’t work. When a subscriber clicks on ad and submits form, I just get a email from leadpages that lead@email submitted opted in form. the subscriber doesn’t added into my mailer-lite account.Does anyone know how to get this process done? When using Google Calendar as the output Zap, one of the fields is Colour. It wants a number which corresponds to one of the available calendar colours. Wondering if there is a list somewhere showing which number maps to which colour?It seems that it’s looking for a single digit number which maps to one of a limited menu of available colours, not the hex code or any kind of direct colour colour identifier.
Hi, @nicksimard I have a requirement .. when a any user goes to my Facebook page and sends a message thru messenger… I want to capture the message details like user first name, last name, email etc. and create a contact in Salesforce using Zapper workflow. Hey,We are using a Zap to send us a message into a Discord channel which functions alright. The only problem is that it does not send data with it. For example in the form we want filled out you have to enter your name. In the message text it will then show ass “name: no data” to select from. In the end when Zappier sends a message to Discord there is nothing at the place the name should be.What could be done to solve this issue?
I have a client looking to have some automated email that tells them how many tasks they’ve used that day. Their pain point is that they’ll log into their zapier account once every few weeks and sometimes will see that their task usage is almost up. Does anyone know if I can do this or infer this data from some other integration?
Two requests I am working on for my employer.First, I would like have the data from the Wufoo forms automatically sent to staff at our center. Currently, I have to login and download the csv or excel file and email to the front desk and accounting. I have contacted Wufoo directly and they do not provide this service.Second request was to find a way to automatically add names from donors to the website after they donate online via Wufoo.
I am getting repeated reconnect messages from a Wordpress connection.I have the site connected and data is flowing. Then I get e reconnect notification after between 2 minutes and 3 days! Something it will not reconnect. Other times to reconnects immediately.Is there a WP setting somewhere?Thanks
Hi Everyone!I have completed my zap of sending an email through a triggered event. I mangaed to attach my pdf fil through a google drive URL. However the received email has an attahced file with no title “ Attached file without title.pdf”. I can open the pdf file but would like to change the name. Any suggestions? Thank you very much!!! Quickbooks Online to Google Sheets: Is it possible to create separate spreadsheet rows for each line of a journal entry?
I currently have a zap that creates a new spreadsheet row in a Google Sheet anytime an expense is recorded in Quickbooks Online. However, if the expense has multiple line items in QBO, it doesn’t created multiple rows in the Google Sheet; rather, the zap combines all components of the expense onto the single row. Is there a way to have the zap create separate spreadsheet rows in Google Sheets for each line item of a journal entry in QBO?
hello guys,I am trying to create a new pipedrive “LEAD” from a new form submission using webflow. I’ve checked but I am only being offered the possibility to create a new DEAL, I want to first create a LEAD in pipedrive and eventually decide if that LEAD has potential to become a DEAL or not.For better context, I believe pipedrive used to have LEADS inside DEALS, but now they seem to be into separate categories, I will like to access the first one as mentioned above.Please let me know if this will be possible or not.(I’ve checked with other typeform, jotform, integrations and only option is create new DEAL as well).
