How do you automatically transcribe an audio file or video file to text?

Is there a zap to connect youtube videos and Spotify podcasts and transcribe them to text with a transcription service?

Thanks,

Arie

Hi @AJ18

Good question.

You can search the available Zap apps here: https://zapier.com/apps

Each app has a profile page that lists the available Zap triggers/actions.

e.g. YouTube: https://zapier.com/apps/youtube/integrations#triggers-and-actions

That should help give you a gist of what should be possible to configure in the Zap steps between apps.

Also, AI can be used to do transcription/translation, such as via OpenAI: https://zapier.com/apps/openai/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Hi Arie,

Automatically transcribing audio or video files to text often involves using some services. While I'm not aware of a direct zap connecting YouTube or Spotify to transcription services, there are tools that utilize AI for such tasks. They typically involve extracting the audio, transcribing it, and converting it to text. Exploring AI-driven transcription services might offer solutions for this need.
