I created a flow to send a reply message to a Slack channel. As you can see in the screenshot, the bot’s name appears as “Zapeir” in the channel outside the thread. Inside the thread, it will appear as my custom name set up in the flow. Anyone knows how to make the outside appears as if answered by “Kiwi FAQ”? Thank you!
How do I ensure scheduled Zap runs still execute after turning off an old version with a Delay step?
If I stop a zap, will it cancel all of the waiting/delayed steps in zap runs?I am making a new version of one of my zaps to get around the 30 day limit on waiting. The new version is set up to use Google Calendar to trigger events farther in the future. BUT, I want to make sure that when I turn off the old version (that uses the standard Delay step), all of the waiting zaps that were created with that version still execute.
I currently have a trigger on Zapier to take action when a Stripe payment fails. I have monthly memberships and my goal is to take action when the monthly payment of my current members does not go through.The issue is that this action is also triggered when someone wants to join for the first time and their payment doesn’t go through. How can I distinguish between a recurring payment that fails vs a new payment that does not go through?My guess is to distinguish between “description: Subscription update” and “description: Subscription creation” but I’m not certain.Thanks in advance
The specific question I was trying to get clarity on is related to the fields in which your system is pulling in from QBO. Specifically, as part of our desired CRM workflow, we would want to automatically follow up on un-approved estimates in QBO after X of days to the specific person tied to the estimate not necessarily the customer record, can Thryv pull from the Estimate record itself and not the Customer record?
How do I create a Sales Receipt in QuickBooks Online with SKU in the description when a Kajabi sale occurs?
Hi I am new to Zapier and loving the possibilities.I am trying to link Sales from Kajabi (uses Stripe) into QuickBooks Online creating a Sales Receipt.Note: Kajabi sales item does not match Quickbooks SKU. Actions taken: I have hooked up Kajabi and Quickbooks. I do get an Sales Receipt that is incomplete.Challenge: I am have trouble getting the Zap to put SKU data into the Description field on the Sales Receipt.I expect if this is done then QB will then generate the price, etc, as it does when I hand enter the SKU in the Sales Receipt. I have built a Lookup table Trying various options such as Kajabi ID name and Quickbooks Price and even the Kajabi name and the Quickbooks name hoping that I will get one perfect product zap and then I can make the others work. I have created a zap that causes OKTA to create a new user when a new user signs up for an account using Stripe. The zap is supposed to pass an email, first name, and last name to OKTA. The zap works when I test it through the Zapier site. However, when I create a new user in Stripe the email that is passed to OKTA is the email a used during testing on the Zapier site and not the email that from Stripe. OKTA throws an API validation error: “Api validation failed: login. login: An object with this field already exists in the current organization”See attached screenshot. How do I correct this problem?
I’ve got a Task List on Notion with basic Information (Task name, Description, Importance, Due Date, Status, time consumption).I want to create an event on my Google Calender based on those tasks, the task name should equal the Event name and the description the event description.Zapier should somehow check the importance (not important / important / very important) and the due date of the task and choose which one has to be done first.Based on this information Zapier should create events in Google Calendar, as long as there no other events schedueled for this time. The time consumption if the tasks should also be consideredAs I am new to Zapier I hope I described everything so that you can understand. In the test data Zoom is returning unique IDs as expected. These match actual API queries. When the actual data comes in the ID is replaced with the webinar ID. Test Data ID: zb2y7tbGTC283ZqFc4LvsgAPI (JWT) ID: zb2y7tbGTC283ZqFc4LvsgLive Zap incoming ID: 82649343907 This of course bombs the zap since the ID returned isn’t unique, it’s just the webinar ID. Azure won’t take non-unique IDs.
We have two zaps created to move Mojo contacts to Kvcore. zap 1 is when a new contact is added to a Mojo group it is then pushed to KVcore. zap 2 is when a contact is updated in Mojo that it should be pushed to update in KVcore. Instead zap 2 is making a full new contact. So we now have two contacts in Kvcore. any help?
I am working on creating an zap for incident response but I am very new to zapier layout and trying to understand. Long story short, I want to automate my slack message to a monday.com ticket. I use a website monitoring tool called status cake. I do have alerts/statuses sent to Slack but it includes the reason, status code, downtime duration and hyperlink to the website. However, on zapier that is shown as attachments. It is kind of hard to split the message to a monday.com ticket.Any tips or tricks on incident response zapier triggers? templates? tutorial?
Hi there, I am wondering whether it is possible to create a zap that updates the Hubspot contact activity feed when the contact has received a marketing email from Klaviyo. This would ideally look something like:Klaviyo marketing email sent to contact A → Contact A’s Hubspot activity feed is updated to show Contact A has received a Klaviyo marketing email.
When there are multiple order items on a single Amazon order, the Seller central Zap separates unique values by comma rather than separating by row. I’m looking for the best way of pulling this data in to our system. Are there any of the zap tools or other data manipulation tools I could use through zapier to grab each part of the data and send it over as a new row, or any ideas about handling this scenario? Hi Everyone!I have been seeing formatter throwing “Disallowed selected_api” error throughout the day. I tested using different platforms and a remote connection, all throwing the same error. Other zap building functionalities seem to be working fine, it’s just when trying to add formatter it is throwing the error.
When I click on the Duplicate option for a Zap in a folder, it creates a copy of the original Zap I created in that folder and duplicated and not the current one I’m selecting Duplicate for, other than it has the name of the Zap I’m selecting, but the Zap tasks are all from the original duplicated Zap.I’ve tried logging out and back into Zapier, I’ve tried flushing the browsers caches, I’ve tried incognito mode, I’ve tried both Edge and Chrome, etc and get the same behavior.Is this expected behavior for the Duplicate option?
So I’ve used zapier for a while. Not a noob - but not a pro.Have a fully functioning zap that reads a new email within gmail and then creates a “box” in streak. Great.Turned off the zap today and tried to turn it back on. Made NO changes to it. Zap won’t turn back on. Ran through the zap to make sure everything internal still works - yup. Checked connection to gmail. Good.Checked connection to Streak. Good.Still can’t enable zap.Reconnected gmail and streak. Good.Still can’t enable zap.Recreated zap from scratch.Still can’t enable zap. Weird - So I have a zap that works in reverse too. When the Streak box changes state, it creates an email. I disabled that zap and reenabled with no trouble. So weird. Hi!I get the error Problem creating Node.Disallowed selected_api.when I try to insert the formatter. Regardless of the app I am trying to connect it to (tried it with Slack, Notion, Google Forms). I followed the steps in the trouble shooting guide: Different browser, different laptop. Problem persists. I also don’t use adBlockers that could be the problem. We’re on a team plan and this problem blocks my work.Would be great to get a clue what to do! Cheers

I’m trying to build an automation that, once someone joins my community (on Circle), it finds the subscriber in Convertkit, checks to be sure they have the purchase tag, and then adds them to the relevant space in Circle. The part I can’t figure out - is there any way to check for a tag in Converkit? I can’t find this action no matter how I set up the zap. Thanks in advance!
I'm receiving almost 100 "Alert" emails bc Zap failed to connect to HubSpot. This is triggered because HubSpot made an update or just temporarily disconnected from Zapier. Regardless, I’m receiving an incredibly high number of emails which is driving me nuts.I obviously still need to know when a Zap actually failed because of something in the workflow, but don’t want to know about “possible” errors due to a connection failure.Since I don’t see this mentioned in the community, how are others getting around this without straight up turning off the notifications? I feel like I’m missing something here since I don’t see any discussion on this topic.
