AI Actions/Zapier MCP

Trying to programmatically do this https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/38777069364109-Connect-remote-MCP-servers-to-Zapier-using-MCP-Client#h_01K2H8VY9ZX48B647PV2QR79RA so I need to create many instances of mcp so one per user that signs up on our backend and we dont like the embed cause we need to improve UX so we want each openclaw instance we create to have their mcp so that they can be isolated .. Or if there is a docker image for the zapier mcp please help me out   

  I'm unable to authenticate the Zapier MCP server with Claude Code. The OAuth flow completes successfully (I receive the callback with authorization code), but the token exchange fails with an HTTP 500 error.  Error details:  HTTP 500: Invalid OAuth error response: SyntaxError: JSON Parse error: Unrecognized token '<'Steps I've taken:  1. Generated a new API key from https://mcp.zapier.com  2. Removed and re-added the MCP server with the new token  3. Completed the OAuth authorization flow (success screen appeared)  4. Restarted Claude Code  The connection shows "connected" but "not authenticated" due to the 500 error during token exchange.  Environment:  - Client: Claude Code v2.0.76  - MCP URL: https://mcp.zapier.com/api/mcp/mcp  - OS: macOS  This appears to be a server-side issue with the OAuth token endpoint. Please advise.

I need assistance making a formstack to Google Drive automation. I want the submissions forms to be saved as a Google Drive, with the clients corresponding name and the attachments to save with attachments being named as well.

I set up an MCP server on Zapier to connect to Kantata. I am using Claude to connect with that Zapier MCP Server to create a Kantata project from a series of prompts. It is successfully creating the project, however there are still several issues with field values and I am looking for some guidance:Start date - I am passing a date but it is being left blank. It does, however, successfully set the Due Date with the value I am passing Budget - I am passing a value and that value is being set in the project, however the Budget field is disabled. When I create a new project from the Kantata UI, the field remains enabled, so it confirms I do have the appropriate permissions in Kantata. My project permissions are also set correctly to Project Admin. Schedule and budget changes must be approved - even though I am telling it to not have this  option checked, it still creates the project with this option checked Target margin - I am sending in a value b

I tried to use Zapier webhook(gmail connected) to send a mail as usual but to day i encountered a new error saying “Invalid proxy server token passed” where i thought the problem was on my side(my code) and then tried it on Cursor AI by connecting the server config from zapier then encountered the same error where the agent is returning this response from zapier:{  "error": "Authentication Error, Invalid proxy server token passed. Hi All, I’ve tried to use AI Actions in ChatGPT and it starts to work. Only problem is that every action need to be confirmed by clicking button, which makes all this stuff little unproductive. Did I configured something wrong?

I’ve tried numerous suggestions to fix this, disconnecting and reconnecting the OpenAI connection with Zapier’s AI Actions, but for some reason GPT is unable to gather or list any of the available actions that I created in Zapier’s API Actions. I don’t understand why this keeps on happening. Everyting’s connected, the action is enabled, but for some reason Zapier’s API fails to return a response. It sometimes work when I preview it. I then update it and then try to actually use the AI action in GPT, but it always fails to connect. Is the API flawed here, what gives?

When using AI by Zapier, can you reference a Table (Zapier) and perform a lookup function in one column and return a result from another column. For example:AI analyzes the information and returns the house title “Fantastic home near parks and dining”.The specific address of the house is needed and the title is used to look up the street address.Can AI then reference a table in Zapier and Title column to look up “Fantastic home near parks and dining” and return to me the actual street address listing in another column?….. “1234 Main St Anytown, AK 54321” Is this possible or do I need to perform the look-up and return function in another task in the zap?

Hello, I’m trying to implement AI Actions on my SaaS platform. I’m trying to generate Oauth Login Link and it’s asking me for AI Actions OAUTH Client. Can anyone tell me where I can create this client and/or how this works?

I am trying to connect my zapier MCP server to Google Analytics 4. I am able to connect to the account correctly. But when testing the action Run Report for a Property , it is redirecting me to the modal where it is asking for the query again. Hi, the Zapier AI Actions are working on my ChatGPT web (Chrome). I have actions such as add to my calendar etc. However, on the ChatGPT android app, I get error “I can’t access the calendar tool at the moment. This is the same for all other actions as well. I have tried deleteing and reinstalling the chatgpt app. Loging in and out. Is there any solution to this?

The Anthropic API has options to enable ‘thinking’ in its newest models (Sonnet 3.7, Sonnet 4 and Opus 4). As far as I can see, there’s no option to enable this in Zapier, so currently all the requests to the new models are not doing any thinking. Anthropic docs for this are here: https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/build-with-claude/extended-thinking#how-extended-thinking-worksWould be great to have this as an option (and also to have the thinking tokens/summaries as a variable we can work with too), as it unlocks the higher levels of capability (there are some Zaps I have that will only work with Opus thinking atm).   

Besides the obvious UI difference, what are the differences in using AI by Zapier Claude or ChatGPT models vs using Claude and ChatGPT’s standalone Zapier actions?

Hey! I”m trying to create an automation that goes from (simplified but you get the idea) Airtable new row → Prompts SOMETHING to do some research → AI writes summary → adds summary to Airtable. It doesn’t seem ChatGPT is connecting to the internet to search for up-to-date info. Will Claude do this? Is this where I need perplexity?

I’m logged into Zapier. I went to https://zapier.com/mcp to try out MCP. I then hit the the button “Get started” and it opens up a net tab to https://mcp.zapier.com/mcp. That page gives me a 500 error. Please advise as I don’t know what or how to proceed. I really want to test this out.
