Hi All,

I’ve tried to use AI Actions in ChatGPT and it starts to work. Only problem is that every action need to be confirmed by clicking button, which makes all this stuff little unproductive. Did I configured something wrong?

Hi @Wojciech

Help links for using AI Actions: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/17013994198925-Zapier-AI-actions-in-other-apps

Complete an action without previewing it

By default, AI actions will show a preview of the data the app will send before running. Depending on the AI app you use, you may be able to complete an AI action automatically without the preview step. Learn more about previewing an action.

To skip the preview step:

  1. Add a new AI action.
  2. At the bottom of the screen, click Show all options.
  3. Clear the Require preview before running AI action checkbox.
  4. Click Enable action.

You can also change this behavior for existing AI actions. Learn how to edit your AI actions.

  • This option may not be available if the developer has set the AI app to always require the preview step. In this case, you will not see the checkbox, and the actions will always display a preview before running.
  • When using AI Actions within GPTs, they will not show a preview by default. You can mark the checkbox Require preview before running AI action when you create an AI action to review it before running.

Hi Troy,

Thanks for answer!

I have this box unchecked for my actions, but in ChatGPT I still get this message to Confirm action. I read somewhere that currently it’s impossible to switch this off.

Maybe I will come here to other question - I want to integrate ChatGPT on such way, that I’m asking Chat some questions and he is invoking some actions from Zapier. Kind of personal assistant, for instance where I’m on the car and unable to write.

What options we have here?

  1. Zapier AI Actions - which is replaced by Zapier MCP
  2. Zapier MCP - it’s OK, but it’s unauthorized in ChatGPT so I need to use “developer” mode
  3. Web hooks (?)

Thanks!
