Hey all! TL;DR - PipeDrive is triggering Zapier an excessive amount of times. Presently I’m using PipeDrive (Our CRM) to trigger a series of actions in Zapier. I have the action set to “Whenever a variable is updated in PipeDrive, trigger”. This is an instant action - which is what I prefer because PipeDrive only offers two types of actions:When any piece of a deal (deal being a project) is updated Whenever a deal changes project states. The simple fix is that I can change Zapier to only listen when the deal’s state changes, however, this means that I can only poll for an update at much lower intervals. So, my solution has been to have Zapier listen for any changes in PipeDrive, then filter it out. However, this means that Zapier is getting pinged some 500x a day when it only needs to be pinged some <25 times. Is there a better way to prevent this and have PipeDrive only update Zapier in certain circumstances, or is there a way to have Zapier only listen to certain variables? Tha

I checked that my Shipstation and Zapier accounts are properly connected and confirmed that the Shipstation API is running. I’m not sure how I’d approach solving this - do any of you know what’s going on or might be able to suggest where I’d start looking for an answer? Thanks!
Hello, this is a follow up on a prior post, in which the answer was that updating an inventory value will only be triggered if that value has not already been seen by Zapier. This makes Zapier unusable for the task. Has there been an improvement in the process or technique, so that every change triggers an update in Woocommerce?
I am new to this program. I am attempting to have employees complete training, quizzes, exams in Easy LMS and have the completion notification transfer to BambooHR so that I know who has completed these assignments. I have been “chatting” with Zapier on and off for over a week and honestly am not understanding. I have read everything available, have tested the webhooks etc but there is always an error. Was hoping someone with experience could help me in general terminology.
The Problem:After making a phone call with a VOIP Phone (RingCentral), I like to find the record with that specific phone number in my ATS (Zoho Recruit) or CRM (HubSpot), and add that record (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number(s), Email Address(es)) into a Contact directory in MS Exchange, so it is available for emails and incoming phone calls and will identify the caller when they call back. The difficulty I have to solve is such: The phone number returned from VOIP has this format “+1xxxyyyzzzz” for US numbers, all in one string of numbers, with no spaces or separators. Returned by a Zapier trigger from RingCentral.The phone numbers in the ATS and CRM are human entered and may have formats like “xxx-yyy-zzzz” or “(xxx) yyy-zzzz” or xxxyyyzzzz or any other possible form.The search function offered in the Zapier connectors from ATS and CRM seems to execute a simple string match search. So unless the phone number is stored exactly as the search string, it won't find the right record.
Hi,I'm having an issue when I try to update the status of a task inside a board using Zapier (Jira Cloud Software).I've created the zap initializing with the trigger, New Response in Spreadsheet in Google Forms, which creates a new task into a jira's board and then create the a new task into a new board referencing the previous created task.And this last task that i ask Zapier to create I wanted it to have the status updated to a new column, so I created 2 new steps, 1 to search the task by the issue key, and other to update the status, and when I tried to test, I get this following error: there's no field where I can inform the relator, it's already informed at the step where I've created the task as you can see in the image below: Please, can you help me?
I created a zap to add an additional attendee to every new Google Calendar event. The zap worked fine. Unfortunately, the zap used > 1,000 tasks per day. I ran out of tasks now and I need to pay to upgrade to a better plan :( Before I do so, I would like some help to figure out why it used so many tasks. I have certainly not added thousands of new events to the calendar.The trigger is “New or Updated Event in Google Calendar.” The action is “Add Attendee/s to Event in Google Calendar.” In the “Set up Action” section I selected the same calendar as in the one in trigger. For the “Event” field I selected “Custom” then I selected “1. ID 099rjt4hrulvb0pa2o700kutk.” I was particularly puzzled by the 099rjt4hrulvb0pa2o700kutk string as it looked as if it would be a specific event. That said, the zap worked, so I think that part might be ok. Can someone helped me figure out how to prevent this zap from hogging resources?
I have created a zap that takes a clients information from Mighty forms and I am trying to get Zapier to create a contact, find the contact and then create a matter in CLIO manage. In Zapier when I test out the process it works, but when I have a client outside try it, it skips the CLIO steps and goes past it to sending the client an email. So the Zap is working, but not correctly. I have reached out to zapier for support but have not received help.
I created a zap to notify attendees through Gmail of an upcoming event from Google calendar Google calendar does not send email notifications to non-responsive invitees, so basically we just want this to go to everyone that was invited no matter their status and a zap is the easiest. The zap is working as I’d like it for sending the emails, but the emails are not formatting well.When they come through, they are showing the html markup from Google calendar summary. Greetings All, I'm attempting to handle information from docparser, it adds every one of the right sections and lines, yet when in zapier, it doesn't make numerous lines, it adds the entire segment into one column, and there's 15 lines for each tones, It does this for google sheets, and MySQL? Hi Awesome people, I am using salesforce as CRM and Zap missed few of the leads which as still in Facebook form Library but due to Compliance I can not download the leads and upload it manually or cannot use google sheet and Zap to sync leads in Salesforce. is there a setting or configuration in Zapier to pull old leads? Hi all, Any help with this appreciated! I have a Ninja form Zap generally working well on its submissions to Google Sheets. I have one select filed however which contains options such as Section A, Section B etc. The issue I’m having problems is that the submission appears on the sheet as section-a section-b. I don’t see any options on the Wordpress Ninja form I can change and hoping there may be something I’m missing with Zapier. Thanks all
Hi,I’m having an issue with zapier. I’m connected to salesforce and doing transactions as update, create and find. It was working fine, but now when I do an update it gives me success : True and the following message : A record was sent to Salesforce about x minutes ago.It used to give me details about the updated record. And when I go check in salesforce nothing changes. The find action works fine though. Can you please guide me through this.
Hello everyone, I'm still very new to Zapier and unfortunately I'm not getting anywhere with one Zap. In a deal in Pipedrive, a link to a typeform is added as soon as the phase is changed. I would like to pass the ID of the deal to Typeform or directly to the next Zap. I think this is possible with the webhooks. Unfortunately, I do not understand them yet. Maybe you have some videos that can help me with this or have a solution for this. Thank you very much!
Hi, I have integaration for kissflow to zendesk. i am using a sales information table in the kissflow and i want to show that table information in zendesk ticket. I linked the table field with the description area but its showing only one raw information in the ticket. Please advice me what is the best solution to show all field. Thank you
